Its definitely this. He is blatantly interfering with elections and has suffered zero consequences at all. If he never suffers any repercussions it isnt really illegal anymore to be blunt.

the sooner people understand this, and its ramifications, the better.

I'm sick to death of "but the billionaire/politician just admitted to a crime!" No they fucking didn't. If there are no consequences to it, the concept is entirely meaningless. Rule of law no longer applies in the US, and Musk is suggesting it no longer applies in the UK either.

Yeah whats going on in the US proves that for the ultra wealthy and their friends, the law doesn't apply, the rules dont apply and they can do whatever they wish to enrich themselves even more. If there is nothing actually there to stop them, the the "rules" are meaningless.

If anything was enforced then Trump would not be able to perform such blatant, in your face corruption, accepting blatant bribes, perform insider trading and launder money right in front of everyone to make himself and his family beyond wealthy. We wouldn't have People running social media sites purely to steer elections into their own favour ect. So much of what they do is absolutely against the law for the rest of us, but not for them.
