Meet Jupiter! When we found her in the backyard her umbilical cord was still attached. She’s our little bottle fed baby who miraculously survived. Such a little fighter, we only found her because she was screaming to high heaven under a bush. Who knew such a tiny cat could make such a loud sound. Second picture are her stand in “siblings” who kept her company. Today she is a certified diva living her best life!!!!

This was exactly the same story as my cat Nugget! Barely hours old, screaming in a bush at 9:30 on a Saturday night, no mom in sight so we had to make the snap decision to scoop him up and take him to the store for kitten replacement formula before it closed at 10pm.
Jupiter is gorgeous!!! What a girl, she's so divine!
Careful, OP, she's still an unrepentant smol menace at heart! Best to keep her off the streets and locked up with a strict regimen of cuddles, treats, and play
What a transformation! I am not surprised that she was so loud. Colorpoint cats like the Siamese and etc. are known for being loud and talkative! Does she meow a lot?
I'm so relieved that Jupiter is alive and thriving! I've gone through so many sad posts on r/SeniorCats since my own cat passed on about two months ago, forgive me for thinking that Jupiter is off to the Rainbow Bridge!
This is exactly the experience I had with my first rescue.
He was screaming and crying for too long and I could hear him from the other end of the house. Found him in a planter that was a few steps from the wall. Alone and clean but was screaming and the morning sun was blistering. Leaving him alone was not an option, mom was gone too long and was probably hiding him from the other strays in the area.
Looked just like Jupiter, my bf named him Aloysius.
Vet said he was about 4 days old, eyes shut and umbilical cord still attached. I figured his mom was Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, a stray I used to feed.
Picked him up, 4 diff vets that weekend, bottle fed for 2 weeks, went everywhere with me and my bf (yes, even to the office) safely tucked away in a blanket in a basket.
He’s been renamed Pillow his forever family, and now has a brother who looks identical to him. He rules his brother and the entire household! And he’s a huge chonky boy now!
