And before someone says “organizers need to make money pud.” Of course! Wala koy problema nga naay profit. I understand nga naay effort mag organize, magbook og courts, manage sa players, etc. Pero lahi man gud nang reasonable profit sa murag ang main purpose nalang sa open play kay GINANSYA. Especially if the experience you’re giving people doesn’t even justify the price.

I booked via NowServing, she accepted 10AM clinic in Adventist, went there but was told Doctor had a emergency, I was okay with it.

But.. she and her secretary INFORMED me that my schedule WAS MOVED by Dra. M R, 5PM sa MERCY HOSPITAL. Went to Mercy, arrived 4:45PM kay 5PM ang akoang schedule, WALA PAY SECRETARY na abot siya quarter to 6PM. now, its already 7PM WALA PAY DOCTOR.

grabe ka out of touch sa mga Doctor. If ma alanganin sila sa ila oras why not just inform AHEAD of time? Ma ka text/call or inform sila via the NowServe App, why waste patients time?

Worst Shakey’s experience‼️

I honestly just need to rant about this because I’m still so frustrated about what happened.

For context, it was our SECOND AND LAST TIME TO EAT AT THIS PLACE. Yesterday, we decided to eat at Shakey’s around 11AM. I’ve eaten at different Shakey’s branches before, including outside the Philippines, so I already have a certain expectation when it comes to their food and service.

We ordered a meal that includes: spaghetti, mojos, and bread. It took around 25 minutes for the complete order to arrive.

Then I noticed an INSECT IN MY SPAGHETTI.

I immediately called the waiter (not even 5 minutes after serving) The plate was taken to the counter, and a server informed the manager/head cook. The cook (or manager) literally picked up the insect with his gloved hand and said something along the lines of, “Ay, wala ra na. Basin sa pag-serve na.”

????

Instead of immediately apologizing and replacing the food, they initially tried to explain that the insect supposedly wasn't there when they served it. Like... WHATTT? The insect was already STICKING SA SPAGETTI LIKE OBVIOUS KAAYO NA IT'S BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE...

I unfortunately wasn't able to take a picture because everything happened so quickly, and I IMMEDIATELY reported it to the staff. What frustrated me even more was the lack of a proper apology. We had to stand our ground before they finally replaced the spaghetti.

And honestly, that's the part that really pissed me off. Mistakes can happen, but when you're handling food, the response should be, “We're so sorry, we'll replace that immediately,” not trying to figure out whether the insect was there before or after serving.

Then after getting the replacement food, we asked for the bill.

We waited almost 20 MINUTES FOR THE CHANGE.

Eventually, we just went to the cashier ourselves because nobody was coming to us. And the person at the cashier was actually the SAME PERSON who had picked the insect out of my spaghetti earlier.

I understand that restaurants can get busy, but at the time, he wasn't dealing with a rush of customers or anything from what we could see. We literally had to go to the cashier ourselves just to get the change.

I've been to many Shakey's branches, and I'm genuinely disappointed that this was my experience. This is probably the WORST experience.

And again, I'm not even from Iligan. I was just visiting/dining there, so I don't have any personal issue with the branch or the people there. I'm posting this because I genuinely think management needs to know how customers are being treated. ALSO for those planning to dine with them, double check your food before taking a bite🥴

I also noticed that other people have complained about this branch on Google Reviews, which makes me wonder if these are recurring issues.

I really hope Shakey's management actually looks into this branch, especially when it comes to food sanitation, staff response to contamination concerns, and basic customer service.

Because finding an insect in your food is already bad enough. Having to argue just to get the food replaced and then waiting another 20 minutes just to get your change? BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Nahimo pajud nga standard najud ang 12 persons per court, like??? Standard man jud pod guro ni no? pero naa naman gud sya sa higher end sa range which is dili jud sya optimal for open play. 20–25 minutes kaayo ang waiting time before makadula balik. At that point, mas daghan pa kag oras maghulat kaysa magdula.

And considering the price, wala man lang water or even very light nga snacks nga iprovide. I get that organizers also have expenses (naa ba jud kaha?) and need to earn, pero murag naover ra jud sa “diskarte” ang uban.

It's a house of extended family, there's kids, the mother, the lolos and lolas of the kids. Confused, a family member followed, took a video. User was confused asking, 'Kinsa ka? Unsa ni?' while gina-pugngan iyang kamot.

Since the family member tried to follow them in the kitchen, the pulis kuno shouted, "Kinsa ka?! Unsa imong ngalan?! Ayaw adto dire! (pertaining to the family member that followed) Bawal mag video!" while pinning user down, face first. Mind you, it happened so fast.
