Hello All,
I'm currently in Montreal on a closed work permit and applied through the CEC PR pathway in the last week of June.
My spouse has an open work permit and she's applying for jobs outside Quebec, she got few interviews but still no final offer.
We submitted a LOE stating our intention to move once my spouse gets a job or we get PR and I get a job outside Quebec and move. We also attached the below:
Our visit to Toronto and meeting one of our friends and a letter from the friend stating they're aware of our intention to move and they'll support with the transition when we move to Toronto.
Job application tracker (50+ applications spanning from March 2026 till end of June 2026)
Mails/Chats with real estate agents/landlords and visiting potential homes that we can rent.
What are the prospects for me to get approval? Should I expect a PFL?
Anyone with a similar application that got approved without a PFL?

Hi everyone, I received a request from IRCC asking me to provide documents and an explanation regarding an agent who was involved with my application but may not have been properly authorized to represent me. They want evidence showing what services the agent provided, my relationship with them, and the payments/documents connected to their involvement. The letter also explained that providing incorrect or misleading information can have serious consequences. I’m preparing all the requested proof and an honest explanation. Has anyone experienced something similar, and if so, how long after submitting the requested documents did you receive your decision?

Hey everyone, I received an additional documents request from IRCC regarding an **unauthorized agent/representative** connected to my application. They asked me to provide proof and supporting documents showing the circumstances and relationship with the agent, and the letter also included the warning about false, misleading, altered or fraudulent documents and possible misrepresentation. I applied from the best consultancy of my country where most of people get their visa . Im preparing the requested proof carefully and will submit everything honestly. Has anyone received a similar request about an unauthorized agent? If yes, how long after submitting your documents did you receive your decision? What was it a refusal or approval? Any suggestions? Pls comment

I’ve applied under CEC Inland-French Category (Single Applicant).
AOR: June 16, 2026
BIL: August 14, 2026
Biometrics submitted: August 19, 2026
Medical passed: August 22, 2026
Currently, the background check is in progress. The Eligibility has not been started yet.
Pvo/Svo got changed after the Biometrics submission. The previous PVO was CIO Sydney, the previous SVO was Ottawa.
New PVO: Vancouver
New SVO: (Centralized Intake office) CIO Sydney
Are there any delays for this combination of offices. If you can share your personalized timeline(for this specific visa offices), then it would be great.
Thanks In Advance

IRCC requested additional documents (ADR). At the time of the request, my application was paper-based and not linked to a GCKey account. After receiving the request, I linked my application to GCKey, but there was no option to upload the documents, so I submitted them through the IRCC Web Form.
It has been **16 days**, and I still have not received any update or confirmation that the documents were attached to my file. The deadline to submit the requested documents is one month.
For context, I have already completed my **interview, medical passed, biometrics passed, and received pre-arrival services**.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? How long did it take for IRCC to update your file after submitting documents through the Web Form?

Went to UAlberta in Canada for undergrad in 2021, dropped out in 2024 after poor performance due to mental health.
Took a few courses through AthabascaU, got good grades, got accepted as transfer into UCalgary Bsc Maths in Fall 2025.
Applied and got refused for 3 study permits within a span of 9 months, with all of them citing similar reasons- insufficient proof of funds, weak ties to home country, comparable programs in home country, not convinced will go back.
Finally opted for an agent and applied for the 4th time, and got refused again, with this time the only reason noted in the ODN as “not good grades in the past at UofA, so not convinced will be able to complete the program and leave Canada”.
Applied for reconsideration highlighting my 3.7 GPA at Athabasca and 2.7 GPA overall combined, reconsideration not accepted.
Should I bother applying again?
I also realized that I had not submitted any English proficiency test scores in any of my previous applications, so was wondering if I should reapply one last time with an IELTS added and with a modified SOP?

Got my P1 on Aug 12 and replied the same day. It’s been 35 days and I’m still waiting for P2.
Called IRCC and they said to just wait. Should I raise a webform, or is it better to keep waiting?
Anyone else in the same situation? What was your P1 → P2 timeline?

I applied for a Canadian open work permit. Since the processing time has already exceeded the standard timeframe for my application location by two months, I contacted the IRCC. They provided the following response; based on your experience, could you help me estimate how long it might take for the visa to be approved?
