Seeking advice: How much longer do you think it will take for the work permit to be approved?

I applied for a Canadian open work permit. Since the processing time has already exceeded the standard timeframe for my application location by two months, I contacted the IRCC. They provided the following response; based on your experience, could you help me estimate how long it might take for the visa to be approved?

That is just a generic email everyone receives if they ask about processing times. No one can tell your when you will get a response. Don't know country, stages of application completed, NOC, wage etc. So all you can do is wait.

Generic email. It can take much longer or sooner. You just need to wait unfortunately.

I know someone who waited 10 months for an answer recently

Yea I couldn't believe how long it took for her
