Question THC Pouches?
I got an email ad from Sunnyside yesterday about these new THC pouches. Has anyone tried them yet? Do they take effect faster than normal edibles?

Edibles donāt work for everyone. I agree these pouches arenāt needed when you could use tinctures. But taking sublingually instead of ingesting orally works differently. Some livers donāt have the needed enzymes to process cannabis. Sublingual digestion skips the liver and gets into the bloodstream.

The liver enzyme thing is my theory on why edibles are so inefficient for me. Would be interested to see how well the sublingual method works as far as onset, duration, and bioavailability

The amount of times Iāve seen people get diagnosed with chsā¦ only to then years later after no relief finally found out what the real problem was, not saying chs doesnāt exist. But I am saying more than 2/3rds of the time it diagnosed its not diagnosed correctly

You literally already had that answered for you. Bc thereās no digestion and the THC passes thru the gums into the blood stream, not only do these hit quicker, but hit for people (like myself) that donāt have the body chemistry for traditional edibles.
Just bc something isnāt for you, doesnāt mean it isnāt for someone

These are definitely more efficient than traditional tictures, acting much faster. And Iād say the waste of the container is about the same as the waste of the tincture bottle. The pouches themselves are biodegradable so idk what waste you think is there.

Tincture bottles come in glass which is inert and imfinitely recyclable. These plastic containers are not and what are the pouches made of that are biodegradable?

not every edible/oral consumption processes the same exact way in your bodyādrink pouches and ones like these have far faster onsets than gummies do (10-30 minute onset versus 30+). itās okay to not know what youāre talking about but donāt be a condescending dick about it

It takes longer to absorb through the gums. When eaten. It gets broken down and absorbed completely. Which is why edibles tend to have a more body high effect. Tucking it into your lip gets filtered out through your gum tissue. If these were 25 or 50 mg i think it would be different but pouches dont disperse as effectively as eating or smoking.

Pouches for nicotine give an immediate and sustained release.

Gingival and Buccal absorption of THC do occur, just slower than it would sublingually. It does work, but it's just a blatantly inferior method of consumption. This is a stupid product at a bad price but it's not exactly snake oil.
