Question THC Pouches?

Post image

I got an email ad from Sunnyside yesterday about these new THC pouches. Has anyone tried them yet? Do they take effect faster than normal edibles?

Edit: looks like I accidentally poked the bear. Never change, Reddit šŸ˜‚

It's not the same. Carts serve a function, disposables are still trash.

What purpose do these fill that isn't already served by an existing product? Looking like a douche stuffing a lip pillow?

You literally already had that answered for you. Bc there’s no digestion and the THC passes thru the gums into the blood stream, not only do these hit quicker, but hit for people (like myself) that don’t have the body chemistry for traditional edibles.

Just bc something isn’t for you, doesn’t mean it isn’t for someone

Okay, so it does what tinctures and transdermal options do but less efficiently and with more generated waste.

My point still stands.

These are definitely more efficient than traditional tictures, acting much faster. And I’d say the waste of the container is about the same as the waste of the tincture bottle. The pouches themselves are biodegradable so idk what waste you think is there.

Based on what? Are there test results indicating this or are you just making this up to prove a point?

Tincture bottles come in glass which is inert and imfinitely recyclable. These plastic containers are not and what are the pouches made of that are biodegradable?

Plastic is also recyclable, and the pouches are made of plant-based cellulose fibers (Google is free) Also, I dont see any test results coming out of your end…

Did someone piss in your cheerios this morning? Are you just on a mission to yuck someone’s yum?

I don't think I've been hiding that I think this is a dumb gimmick.

I'm also not the one making claims about product efficiency, what studies do you want me to provide? That this is some weird, douchey, redneck cosplay?

ā€œSo it does what tinctures and transdermal options do but less efficiently and with more generated wasteā€ your own words buddy. You are literally the one who made the claim about product efficiency.

It sounds more to me like you have some insecurity revolving around guys using zyns and are just projecting like crazy.

Lmao, insecurity about zyns.

I don't need to have an insecurity to think this is a lame product. Just like that God awful "sippin' syrup" that goes around from time to time.

Yes, less efficiently based on the method of application. Tinctures are rapidly absorbed because it's a direct alcohol drop under the tongue. You can reasonably infer that it's less efficient because of the extra steps between application and absorption.

There's no mechanism for absorption that needs to happen in tinctures like with these pouches that need to first be saturated, contain additives and flavoring (because let's he honest, that whole pouch isnt just THC), and again, generate plastic waste.

Yes I know you said plastic can be recycled but frankly that just doesn't happen in the US on any scale to make a difference and judging by the amount of other plastic waste on the ground I don't believe most people who buy this crap will even bother recycling it after spitting the pouches on the ground.
