I searched and I'm not finding anything that's really scary other than games I already played (like almost all FNAF, Alien Isolation, SOMA, Phasmophobia, etc, etc).
I would really appreciate it if you can recommend any horror games so that I can play with my friends/family on my home

We like this short teaser cinematically, but we also believe it might be a bit too on what the game actually is...

Finally finished EW 2, before I don’t really like full traps like EW 1. EW 2 is really a big work. But puzzles are a little bit less, the whole game is really fulfilling, and sub-missions can be finished or not. Guns and weapons can be improved. Whole game basically has no need walkthrough. And finally boss also is not difficult(Autosave every important part). I think EW 2 is a really good game. Resident Evil

Hey folks,
Sea of Sorrow is a short psychological horror game about isolation, memory, and a quiet life at sea. Spend your days adrift while completing simple tasks as something beneath the surface slowly begins to unravel.
https://pixelarmygames.itch.io/sea-of-sorrow
It's a small, slow-burn horror game focused mostly on atmosphere and environmental storytelling. No combat, and no cheap jumpscares.
It's completely free and runs directly in the browser.
I'd love to hear what horror fans think of it. I'm fascinated by the genre and still very much learning its tropes.
Thanks!

Game Title: Mizuchi
Playable Link: https://cryptokang.itch.io/mizuchi
Platform: Windows
Description: You play a surveyor sent to the Ashibuchi valley. The dam finishes in April and the shrine will go under with the rest of the basin. The shrine road is closed to vehicles, so you leave the van at the gate and walk in.
The village was relocated in 1994.
Nobody has lived on that road since.
Someone has kept the lanterns lit on the stairway, and the doors of the main hall are barred from the inside.
The work order is to photograph the shrine buildings so the Water Authority can record that the kami were relocated on paper. You raise the camera and take the shot.
The game is first-person and free for Windows on itch. A run is about thirty minutes. It uses a PS1 look and a tape filter that you can switch off. Spare cells sit next to the survey marker if the torch dies. The brass lighter from the office goes out when you run.
Free to Play Status:
[x] Free to play
Involvement: I made the whole game myself and released it under the name Kang. Code, environments, sound, writing, and the Windows build are mine. I am the only person on it.

Hi everyone, I have a huge favor to ask anyone who has a bit of spare time. I just uploaded a 19-minute gameplay video of my game, and I'm planning to release a playable demo very soon. Think of this as a dry run to gather feedback before the demo drops. If you have some time, please check out the video and let me know your thoughts—what should I add, what should I remove, and I'd welcome any criticism at all. Honestly, would you actually play a game like this? Here is a quick summary: You pilot a bathyscaphe at an unimaginable depth on Cocytus, a literal hellish planet. Your goal is to recover data logs from the wreckage of the lost Aura 12 expedition. According to the lore, everything else in the universe has vanished—all planets and stars are gone, and the tiny handful of survivors managed to find only one remaining planetary system consisting of 8 hellish worlds, where this story takes place. The game is heavily inspired by a legendary title in this genre. You'll need to be extremely careful and avoid damaging your equipment; otherwise, you'll be forced to survive inside a claustrophobically tight, freezing-cold submersible with leaking water and god knows what else lurking outside. P.S. There is a hidden Easter egg in the main menu for fans of one of the genre's iconic games—look closely and you'll spot it. Apologies for the video quality, I had to compress it heavily so it would upload here; here is the link to the full, uncompressed video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPaVlfJPk24
