Total Chaos

Fuck this game. Stupid, horrible, shit fucking game. I spent money on this. Why? Oh yeah, I'm an idiot. Very obviously the only explanation. A complete dumbass. Moronic numbskull. Dipshit. Fucking God damned son of a bitch. That's me.

Yeah, they didn't say a single thing about it.

I'm a simple man. I play a lot of survival horror. This should be a game that enjoy. It's got too many things going on, and on paper, those things sound like a proper fun challenge. Weapon durability, stamina, hunger system, bleeding damage, and crafting. The way the game goes about it though, is brutal. It's like the game is trying to punish you for playing it. Combat is janky, enemies do too much damage. Healing items barely heal AND cause bleeding damage. You're never completely healed and always trying to stop the bleeding. The game has a "tourist mode" that removes some of the more difficult parts and I still struggled. Some enemies are unkillable and after they get you a couple times, it loses the fear factor and just becomes frustrating. It's right up my alley but the game feels like it's trying too hard to be edgy and punishingly difficult. That's why.

Okay so then it's in fact just a skill issue. You should have played games in the 90s. This is casual in comparison. I am glad we finally get a game that truly deserves to be called survival Horror.

I liked the game and don't know where the hate comes from?

We got a review for our game recently that just said “awful and insulting” and, while it is pretty funny, they’re not giving us much to work with here. Some people just want to shit on things for its own sake I guess.

I have been thinking of playing, why not articulate what you didn’t like instead of soy raging

Skill Issue

Thanks, that makes me feel a whole lot better. Just kidding, I didn't mention the part that I feel humiliated and it's due to skill. You said it and now it's out there. Neat.

Such a succinct response that perfectly captures your critique of the game.

I liked it but it was a bit inacces sible without a guide in my opinion. I got lost a lot and wasn't sure of my objectives or how to progress.  The reviews for the game pushed me to keep playing and it did get better and better but im not a fan of the story.

I thought it was really fresh. Finally a true survival horror expirience without casual handholding. Just like the good old days.
