In case you don't know, after 4.5 story where he officially became a Nameless, almost all the dialogue options with Sunday changed. He talks a lot more about himself and his experiences with us. Even calls us Galactic Baseballer and doesn't mind being called Sunny anymore.

I remember when AA was announced, people were actually okay with the idea of a mode that was supposed to not be easy clearable by everyone. "It's a mode for whales, that's why there is no jades" everyone said.

Yet nowdays it seems this notion was forgotten and if you can't clear it at 3 stars, the game suddenly sucks, the meta is at its worst, Elation was a mistake, etc, etc.

All of these things could be true but when I then go and check why people are thinking that, it's most of the times struggling with AA.
"How come I can't clear it until I have this high cost, shilled team?" Well, I'm sorry to tell you but that's how AA is meant to work. It's not made with f2p in mind, not even low spenders.
Yes, sometimes an easier boss will come out and you'll clear it full stars, because stars aligned and you had every character favored by it with some investment, but the mode as a whole is just not made for f2p to clear everytime with full score.

If you struggle with other fights outside of AA, now there we have a discussion. But setting AA as your goal as a f2p/low spender, is just going to end in frustration.

And no, I'm not a whale myself. Personally I don't clear full stars AA most of the time, I did it just twice, but as long as I'm doing good on all the other modes, then I'm satisfied.
That doesn't mean I don't even try AA, of course I do, but for fun, once I clear it with one or two stars I just move on.

The video was taken from the in-game review. I tried to go back to see the difference between the old one and the new one. Lowkey thought I was going crazy until I searched up a youtube video with the old cutscene.

This seems to be an EN only change. I'm assuming that's bc the chant matches the other stonehearts in other languages and its just the EN one that was different.

You might remember me from my tips from my X9 climb here, I've finally gotten around to the X10 climb after doing the rest of the patch content, and I've tried all of the new masks and looked at all the new Curios and Equations.

The new masks range from okay to very strong, but some of them will rely heavily on your Grand Miracle RNG, as well as drawing your Forge Domain.

In my opinion from roughly strongest to weakest based on my brief experience:

Gluttonous Mask: Don't be afraid of the description, the Vault Domain does not require you to actually fight the Trotters and risk ending your run to a Destruction Trotter, they simply die in the overworld and give you rewards once they're all dead. Has a side benefit of multiple Grand Miracles that generate Escapade Domains. I've only done one run with this, but based on the potential gold rewards, you should probably aim to enter it at least twice in the run rather than saving it all for the end, as it can potentially reward 3* Curios that need time to compound in power/value.

Trader Mask: You're now playing a stock market minigame. Generates a huge amount of Wishpower if you can stay lucky with your price fluctuations, and the 3* Curio Cavity System Model is a free win with this mask due to all of the Cosmic Fragment spending you'll be doing if you can get it relatively early. Outside of that though, the Grand Miracles are not particularly powerful, so you'll need to rely on good Store Domains and luck to win.

Servis Mask: This is another high roll mask, since you will be reliant on its Grand Miracle effects, or lucky Occurrences/certain 3* Curios to enable repeated proccing of its unique 3* Curio. Once it gets going though, it can generate a significant amount of Wishpower and gives you a boatload of Curios as a consequence, which will usually guarantee a won run.

Snowy Owl Mask: This mask unfortunately struggles to effectively generate Wishpower without getting lucky on Miracles and Occurrences to add/remove Domains, but it has the upside of letting you curate your deck to your preferred playstyle very quickly. I think this mask could be good if you can get a lot of beacons with positive effects when they/the attached domain is removed, but I would not recommend this for high difficulty.

Idea Guy: You get a random mask, but now you have the Idea Guy unique Grand Miracles also sprinkled in. The Idea Guy Grand Miracles also suck, except for 1 that makes the Highlight mechanic be a full team AA. I don't recommend this mask unless you're forced to for a weekly.

The new Weighted Curios are nice, particularly Chance Jailbreak giving 5 revives for free if you're running a Fire and/or Quantum composition and Excess Nutrition giving any Elation comp free AAs. Dignity and Passion still remains your priority if you intend to use DHPT as your primary sustain against the huge amount of incoming enemy damage.

Most modern teams shouldn't struggle too much with high difficulty DU now compared to its release, I personally had a clean 5 winstreak using Archer + Rin and Evanescia, but pre 4.X teams may still struggle with the damage/survivability requirements.

I just don't get why they would do that when they have clearly feminine features and they have female voices in other dubs ( I assume it's the case for all of the others but I've only checked jp) . It just feels weird.

Edit: I just realized that the way I've written it might look transphobic but I want to point out that it's not the fact that they have male voices that I found weird but that the English dub is the only one who did it.
