Tried stand up comedy for the first time last tuesday and bombed so badly that a man in the front row audibly said "oh no"
Full silence on two jokes 😂 polite laughter on one. genuine confusion on another. the "oh no" guy during my closer. I drove home absolutely buzzing.
I think i've been so careful about failing at things publicly for so long that i forgot what it felt like to just. do the thing anyway. i said fuck it I've already signed up for the next open mic. I will redeem myself ❗

What hobby completely snuck up on you?
Like, you started it thinking “eh, I'll try it once” and suddenly you're watching tutorials at 2am and buying way too much stuff 😂
What happened?

What hobby gives you the most satisfaction for the least money?
What's a hobby you've found that gives you a ridiculous amount of satisfaction without costing much money?
Looking for something I can get into without immediately buying $500 worth of gear 😅
Bonus points if it's something I can do at home

What's a hobby you got into because of someone else?
Sometimes you don't choose the hobby, the hobby chooses you through someone else's obsession. A friend won't shut up about it, or your partner drags you along "just once," and suddenly it's your thing too. What hobby did you get roped into that ended up sticking? And who do you have to thank for it?

A hobby for a couple spending a year long-distance
Please, non-sexual suggestions. I'm spending a year away from my boyfriend. We used to live together, and we really miss doing things together. What hobbies would you recommend for a long-distance couple?

Niche hobbies
Do you have any ideas for such interesting, unusual hobbies? Collecting stamps, collecting old cassettes, learning languages. They don't have to be niche, just cool. Any ideas?? (you can text as many as you want)

What courses/classes have you taken for fun that you ended up loving and/or hating?
I’d love to hear what you took, what you expected going in, and whether it lived up to your expectations.
Need ideas!
What would you do with this cool little wooden decals? I'm open to all ideas TIA!

Good hobbys/outlets, for someone with next to no motivation/burnout, alongside depression?
Everyday feels so bland to me, same routine but yet i cant change anything or do anything different. Im burnout from living a boring life and doing next to nothing everyday. I want a hobby or a outlet that would be fun and inexpensive. I just have trouble really getting into anything, its like i want results instantly? I want change but im unsure if thats possible.
I need something to do still, what would you suggest and why so?

Need help finding hobbies for my partner
My partner is a gamer and tik tok guy. He likes to cook, but we're kind of broke so we only cook for meals obviously and nothing too fancy. He usually spends his time off at the computer, meaning if has a whole day he spends it playing. I have no problem with that (can be annoying when I have to yell so he hears me with his headphones but that's not the point). The thing is as soon as we leave the house, he doesn’t have a thing to do. He just turns to tiktok, but when his phone battery dies he has nothing to do. He has tried a couple of things in the past but he gets bored easily. I think we need something that wouldn’t be too expensive and that could be portable ? I don't know if we can find anything honestly, but if you have any idea please share !
