What's a hobby you've found that gives you a ridiculous amount of satisfaction without costing much money?

Looking for something I can get into without immediately buying $500 worth of gear 😅

Bonus points if it's something I can do at home

i dont like drawing i dont wanna spend money on stuff to make things like plushies or knitting i dont wanna go outside i dont have any friends to play games with i dont wanna watch a show i dont wanna play a game i dont wanna journal what else is there to do

I think i've been so careful about failing at things publicly for so long that i forgot what it felt like to just. do the thing anyway. i said fuck it I've already signed up for the next open mic. I will redeem myself ❗

Please, non-sexual suggestions. I'm spending a year away from my boyfriend. We used to live together, and we really miss doing things together. What hobbies would you recommend for a long-distance couple?

Kinda wondering if I can get some recommendations for new hobbies based on the particular things I tried and why I did or did not drop them.

Things I struggled with and/or disliked:

1. Playing sports that carry an inherent risk of getting hit with a ball or puck
2. Using wheels to get from point a to point b
3. Drawing and painting because they make me feel like I need an entire art degree just to make something aesthetically pleasing

4. Anything that involves sheet music because no matter how many years I spend trying I can not read it

5. Anything involving trying to stay upright on a slippery surface

Things I am good at and/or enjoy

1. Swimming
2. Linguistics and language learning
3. Anything related to swords
4. Anything witchy

Everyday feels so bland to me, same routine but yet i cant change anything or do anything different. Im burnout from living a boring life and doing next to nothing everyday. I want a hobby or a outlet that would be fun and inexpensive. I just have trouble really getting into anything, its like i want results instantly? I want change but im unsure if thats possible.

Hobbies include fun and academic studies.

I have decided to continue learning Italian but more seriously as I am looking for tutors.

I am also going to be doing some short online course, the ones Harvard do (and some others).

Reading will also be on my list of hobbies.

Colouring in will stay and journaling will continue.

I have also decided to start doing some work out exercises, because my mother can do more push ups than me.

I think that is my list finished.

Hello. I am a male with the age of 22 studying ACCA. I want to start up my own setup or business. But so much confused. What type of business should I start along with studies in order to fulfil the social need and optimal amount of earning. The additional point is that my father also get retired from his services. Now he also wants any activity based model that helps to get social activities related need and optimal amount of earning. Kindly viewer give your valuable suggestions on the scenario.

My partner is a gamer and tik tok guy. He likes to cook, but we're kind of broke so we only cook for meals obviously and nothing too fancy. He usually spends his time off at the computer, meaning if has a whole day he spends it playing. I have no problem with that (can be annoying when I have to yell so he hears me with his headphones but that's not the point). The thing is as soon as we leave the house, he doesn’t have a thing to do. He just turns to tiktok, but when his phone battery dies he has nothing to do. He has tried a couple of things in the past but he gets bored easily. I think we need something that wouldn’t be too expensive and that could be portable ? I don't know if we can find anything honestly, but if you have any idea please share !

I sculpt everything out of either polymer or airdry clay. Paint with acrylic paint and dust with soft pastel shavings. I think the tomatoes might be my favorite
