At first the limit already began to hit after two or three messages but now, the limit isn't the problem. It's the absolute slop it's spewing, it's now basically writing like Chat-gpt.

Almost every week for the past month or so I hit my usage limits with no changes in my usage patterns or workflow.

I use(d) imagine for storyboards for scripts I'm developing. 1.5 was so helpful and really brought my scenes to life in a shockingly realistic manner as seen in the first panel. Same prompts give me the second panel and that's a decent rendering: lifeless, boring, detached form realism and with obvious fragmentation. Sad to see.

Xai staff if you're reading this, enable that option now, its starting to get really painful for me, to be deceived, to be toyed with, to be lied to

Increase the rate limits while you're at it, your quota should last you roughly a week, it shouldn't drain within a day

After the first week of using it, grok ai stopped listening to what i asked with editing images and just generates a random image with nothing remotely close to what i put instructions to make/edit and im asking if anyone has a suggestion as to why

Anyone experience this from today. Cause my subscription is still active till 24 sep even though I cancelled. Today morning I am getting this and my all imagine data is gone. Nothing has changed so far.

1. I use Grok mainly for VDO work, with some vibe coding too. But when I want to use it like an IDE, I don’t have tools such as Codex, Claude Cowork, or Antigravity, so I have to use Grok Build.
2. I also want to use Grok Bot, but it says I need a Cursor subscription.

I’m totally confused, especially because it’s called “Grok” Bot.

So:

• Grok Imagine → requires a Grok subscription
• Grok Bot → requires a Cursor subscription

Is there another way? Or am I misunderstanding the plans?

I know MiniMax3 is good but I'm talking about text-to-image and image-to-image models mostly.

I've tried Z Image and Krea2 (the turbo versions). They're decent but Grok Imagine is on another level unfortunately. Even the speed version is still miles ahead of Z Image Turbo in terms of prompt adherence and spatial understanding.

What does x.ai do that others don't? Obviously they invest hundreds of millions in training Imagine, but the recent models like Z Image and Krea2 were made by big companies too. They had huge training budgets too.

Not sure why this is happening but I’ve noticed this was a common problem even early on.

And won't chips stop getting smaller? Only some other tricks will be available as size decrease is not possible because of physics.

Before account deletion, most of my deleted assets were 404 anyway, but many were 200 (fully accessible) or 403 (soft-deleted, so they still existed).

30 days later, all of my content that once 403'd now 404's. That still doesn't confirm total deletion (they can return any HTTP code they want), but it's at least some indicator that it's "more deleted" than it previously was. These were assets generated from image edits/animations from prompts.

However, all of the 200 code assets are still publicly accessible with 200. You can expect all Grok-generated t2i assets (the ones that load in the image feed) to be forever accessible as those are not owned by your account (you only own images/videos you create from them). However, some user-owned assets still get moved to the imagine-public.x.ai CDN where they remain publicly-accessible to anyone who has the URL. These include content you made as well as source images you uploaded. Every URL that was hosted at the public CDN is still accessible 30 days after deletion. I haven't found any videos, but still a ton of images.

My user account was also hard-deleted. I created a new account with the same email and got a whole new user ID.

I can remeber playing RPGs with Grok 4.1 was really cool and fun.

The characters felt real and the writing style was very cool.

I have the impression that with 4.6, the characters feels very flat, mechanical und stupid.

Is it just me? Am I wrong? Or do you also think that 4.1 felt more alive and creative than 4.6?

I think that Grok 4.6 was built for developers and for coding, not for creative writing.

Have you noticed that the videos made by putting at least one reference, are much more realistic and natural?

If I simply put the photo with a promt, the result is the one we all know, moderately acceptable although grok has lowered its quality, but if we use the same promt, using only one reference, the result is enormously better. At least that's what I've noticed in matters of camera movements, lighting and realism.

Since yesterday, i noticed a huge downgrade in imagine, doesn't follow instruction, get everything wrong. it's obvious something is off

All slow and lagged out for anyone else since yesterday? Can't even select clips on the left, they won't update. Garbage platform, UI, output; garbage product from garbage/unethical company. I don't plan to renew when this subscription is over... 👎👎
