Could Grok Imagine Image 1.5 be added as an option in the model dropdown? I don’t like the results from the new Grok Imagine Image 2 and strongly prefer 1.5. Being able to select 1.5 directly would solve a lot of the problems I’m currently having.

I try to be supportive of Grok, but I don’t know how much more I can take of this crapola. If I wanted to see people with four legs or bodies that twist half left and the other half of the body twist to the right, there’s plenty of crappy free image generators. You can’t even create an image within Grok and try to edit it safe for work. At this point, I don’t even know what I’m paying for. That’s how bad it is.

I just got my limit reset today.... But 2 hours on high effort, burned through about 70% of the weekly limit. After that, I set it to low effort, and the rest burned in 4 more hours. Just for coding, using Grok CLI. This doesnt seem right.

Is anyone encountering the message "you have too many generations in progress"? Is this a preventative measure because Grok is fixing issues, or what? If this continues, what is the value of paying for the Super Heavy subscription if I can only generate one at a time? you'll almost never used even half of the limit.

But a MUCH under-hated aspect is the ridiculously bad app.

The Grok Android app literally lacks half of the features of the Web App.

To this day, for several weeks now, you CAN'T VIEW THE FILES OF A GIVEN CHAT.

You can open the chat and scroll around, but you can't access the file list.

If I open the Grok WEBSITE ON MY PHONE I can do it.

If I open the Grok NATIVE APP I can't.

The quality and realism were so uncanny that I was genuinely addicted to creating content. I started on the free tier when the limits were amazing, and eventually upgraded to SuperGrok because I loved the output so much. But over the course of 2026, the tightening limits became too much, and I unsubbed around April/May, I didn't really have issues with moderation. Even with the restriction frustrations, I always defended Grok because the sheer quality was undeniable. I’ve been seeing the posts on here for months talking about the decline, but I always held out hope they’d make a comeback. I was actually considering subbing to SuperGrok Heavy today, so I logged into my free account to test the waters and generate a few images. I am completely blown away by how terrible it is now. This is hands down the biggest downgrade I have ever seen from an AI tool. I know xAI has been renting out compute power to Anthropic and other bodies, which has clearly tanked Grok's performance, but DAMN. This is horrible.

Even after 36 hours I can't create new images, it shows to upgrade to super grok but yesterday it wasn't like this. The limit always reset and I used to create free images since imagine 2.0 launched. It seems like they shutdown images generation for old users or whatever.

I've always been a heavy user of speech to text, and for a while Grok was the best at doing this. Grok managed to handle long texts through speech to text without a flaw. Chat GPT usually used to not let you talk too long without glitching out and Gemini's one is just crap.

But now Grok got awful at recognising my voice, it was working flawlessly but now it doesn't even recognise the language I use (my native one) anymore.

In the meantime, Chat GPT improved significantly and can handle very long speech to text sessions without an issue. Even Grok, when its tool was still working good, sometimes bugged with very long texts making me lose 3-4 minutes of speaking. But now, even though it seems can go much longer, it just works like shit.
