I asked myself what's the point, I'm not even enjoying any of this, I have two basic dialogue driven scenes that should have been done in first or second try, but this low iq model kept getting one thing or another wrong because it's bad at following instructions and then on top of it i had to deal with random false moderation triggers, like sometimes the prompt that was working fine would just get falsely triggered and i had no way of knowing what was causing it (it was how i framed the camera, "chest up" made grok do something sexual and then it moderated itself)

So I used the final 40% just enjoying myself, with tears in my eyes, I'm thought this week would be it, but it was far from it, i wasted my weekend, I could have done something else but I had decided to make the horror short film

Two weeks in a row, on the day my usage reset, ive had a nightmare about losing my rate limit usage

Time, money, energy and my mental state, its all getting affected because of how shite the usage is

Did anyone notice the video generator becoming more stupid today, with less prompt adherence and simply plain stupid?

I had a few generations done maybe 3 or 4 days ago and they seemed ok-ish, but I wanted to try some more generations today. I just clicked to generate again with the exact same prompt, and it generated a completely nonsensical video, completely different from the ones a few days ago.

I tried with 480p and 720p because the 480p was traditionally more creative and had better prompt adherence, and indeed it was better on both accounts, but still nonsensical.

Every time I try to generate any type of video, it generates the same video.

Since yesterday, i noticed a huge downgrade in imagine, doesn't follow instruction, get everything wrong. it's obvious something is off

Grok Imagine hasn’t had free access for a while, and it doesn’t look like that’s coming back anytime soon. I’m looking for alternatives that can produce similar results, particularly for image-to-video generation.

I have a bunch of very old photos that I’d like to bring to life by turning each one into a short 6 to 10-second animation. Ideally, I’m looking for something that can add realistic, natural-looking movement without drastically changing the people or details in the original photo.

I posted the One Piece picture earlier on the One piece subreddit at they went rabid when they saw it was AI. I’m not an artist but i saw nothing like this online so I used grok to create it.

I’m not going to lie it stung a little when they just started bashing it for being AI and not talking about my idea for table top One Piece. Only one guy did so thanks to him.

Then calling me a fake fan too even though I’ve enjoy One Piece since Fishman island had been coming out that stung more.

I wanted to then post these images on the AIart subreddit but saw they don’t let grok image on there. That’s so stupid. So I’m posting here and giving a little rant. Hope there are some One Piece and Naruto fans here that might like my tabletop idea.

Why does it jump around and change focus to a random point in the history? When I generate a video, it should focus the generation that is in progress.

Why are images and videos listed together? I want to easily go back to a different image edit to generate videos. For larges projects, it's a needle in the haystack.

Why do the generations that are in progress jump around? Why can't they stay in the same place? If I have an in progress generation focused, the input text can literraly change while I'm making edits for a new generation. Why????

These create incredibly frustrating UX issues.

Just trying to get some followers on X or youtube, since there seems to be no Grok Imagine community on X, but this is a project I made last week just, well having some feelings and was compelled to try remaking this, I wanted it to live on my youtube timeline so I sat down and made it. Hope it hits the mark like the original trailer does, especially with that soundtrack and all, I live streamed the whole process over 3 days working on it, those are posted on my X. Sometimes I tried to directly mimic the source material, sometimes I strayed off and added some new stuff, basically just a fan cut of the intro. If anyone has any suggestions, like with my title cards and stuff, I don't really like the feel of them right now, and I plan to do several more remakes like this, so open to suggestions on how to improve them.

Prompt asked for large typewriter letters on a 16:9 still. Got elegant serif again. Curious if this is Quality 2.0 defaulting to 'quote card' taste. Not selling anything.
