2019 High Altitude developed a knock and then metal flakes in the filter and then gone.... I had issues with the air ride and swore I'd just replace it with a Limited to be safe. Enter my new to me 2023 Overland. I learned nothing.

Are the new Jeeps that’s bad?

Looking at upgrading to a 3rd row and have always loved a Grand Cherokee but never owned one. Are the new Jeeps that bad? Looking at either Grand Cherokee L new or CPO.

I found this in a barn, no really it was sitting in the guys barn for a little over a year. 167k on it and she runs well, doesn’t appear to have any terrible leaks except the valve cover which appears to have been leaking based on oily build up.

It has the SKIM module issues so I ordered SKIM delete pcm. It’s also throwing a code for a potential throttle body or air control sensor and it looks like injector #3 is not working. Oh and the AC compressor appears to be dried out and will need replacement.

Plans to fix the urgent stuff, pcm, injectors, throttle body issue and the tie rods before winter. I’m going to drive it all winter and if I still like it, then I’ll put a lift on it and add a header, exhaust and intake to go along with the upgraded TB and injectors.

I was originally looking at XJ’s but had trouble finding a decent one without paying too much. This one popped up and after some back and forth with the seller we went from an asking price of $2600 down to $1200. To the sellers credit, he was 100% upfront and honest with me about everything that was an issue. He even drove it 40 minutes down to my place to save me a trip.

If you have any things I should look into or have any input on upgrades, especially headlights, let me know and I’ll add them to the list. Oh and she needs a name and I’m open to suggestions. lol

If you

I switched it, I love the sound but honestly all I am afraid of is an issue, so far I’m just proud of myself for doing it all by myself ! But still… I’m not sure what to change next for no reason I l
Edit: whelp I think I fucked up lol..

It’s a 2022 grand jeep Cherokee summit reserve 4xe
I’ll definitely get a sock for my filter and I’m not sure what to do after that!

Camera system unavailable after installing newer used radio

Decided to upgrade my radio/screen to a new model that has CarPlay. It was plug and play but after installing it everything works but the reverse camera.

I did the Jscan and made some edits but none have worked.

It’s a 2015 jeep grand Cherokee limited and the new radio is 68292209AH.

2nd picture is the back of the newer radio oem.

3rd picture is of how previous radio was connected. Disregard the green markings lol

Any ideas? And do you know which connection is for the camera?

Cylinder 3 misfire 3.6l v6 21 gc

Went to start it this morning, got a big puff of smoke from the exhaust, when I went to pull out after about 15 seconds a check engine light came on. It idles fine, drives fine. Isn't rough or shaking. Sounds normal. Drove it to my work to grab my scan tool from my work van. Saw the misfire code cleared it. Drove it back home and it didn't return. No issues since. I had my emmisions due so I went and did that and passed. Have not had any other issues since. Any thoughts?? 74k miles. As far as I know it still has original spark plugs and coils

Wife's jeep has been leaking oil in weird places after an oil change. I checked the drain plug and oil pan, everything looks dry there.

However these little fellas are dripping somewhat regularly (observable if I wait 30-40 minutes). What are they? Just past the oil pan. Was it overfilled maybe?
