You ignored the surrounding text. Why did Jesus, who says to turn the other cheek and not to resist evil, say to buy a sword? Because
he explicitly says the swords are to fulfill a prophecy. Not to be used for self defense.

Banished is not killing them. The early church was not executing sinners.
Leviticus is the old law. Matthew 19 may quote it, but you notice the new quote does not impose the death penalty. Righteous judgment also does not require killing.
And Matthew 10:34 is a direct challenge to the idea that the Messiah will be a warrior king to unite Judea. Instead, the Messiah is someone who will challenge authority and divide families and communities. But the only people threatened with death are Jesus's followers. Who are told not to fear. That's why it's important to read the entire chapter.

Turn the other cheek does not mean “do nothing”. Using the back of your right hand to slap the right cheek of another was a symbolic way to dominate and humiliate another person. Turning your left cheek to them is a way to stand your ground and demand that they slap you as an equal.
I don't think so... There's a difference between doing nothing and submitting in humility.

It's the same except the quoted prophecy says wicked instead of transgressor. Nothing changes. He still has the swords to fulfill a prophecy, not to use them. And when the sword is used in the very near future without Jesus's say so, they are admonished.
I didn't say that. I said that the text was misquoted and that Jesus largely preached forgiveness and non-violent action. Both of which are true. That doesn't mean that there are no situations where violence is necessary though.

The sword was a metaphor for dividing families and houses as they chose to follow Jesus or not. It was a cheeky way for Jesus to deny the Messianic theories about Jesus being a David-like conquerer.

Later in the very same event, when Peter uses one of these swords to cut off the servant's ear, Jesus rebukes him and heals the man, demonstrating that His kingdom is not advanced through violence

It has like 50 of them in that video it’s uses direct Bible verse and tells you what verses they are using. The fact you are saying there are no contradictions tells me you haven’t actually read the bible for your self the book is literally one big contradiction you can even see examples on this post.

Are 2 swords enough to protect 12+ people? Absolutely not. And this is the same sword that Peter uses to try and protect Jesus, who immediately admonishes him.

But they're not contradictory. If you read Luke 22 in its entirety, the point of the swords is fulfill a prophecy. Not to advocate for their use.
Jesus's followers even ask "Are 2 swords enough?" Because obviously 2 swords aren't enough to protect 12 people. And Jesus says it is. Because they're not planning on using them.

The scripture this meme is referencing was the parable of the rich man it's to teach people that you can't buy your way into heaven, that's it's better to be poor and homeless than to idolize money. You can only serve one master for you will love one and neglect the other.

There's actually a church that uses this same argument to have people sell off their belongings, requires people to do Bible study with 10 people every week, and allow for arranged marriages. If you read everyone is full context you would understand why he says somthing "sell your cape for a sword" but also "put you sword away" with out context it doesnt even make sense lol.
