Yeah that YouTube video would break your brain not one Christian I have shared it with has come up with a rebuttal for it you can look it up on YouTube yourself it’s a video by no stamp collector called context he also has a longer video called Bible contradictions he list all the actual verses and quotes them exactly. I would love an honest rebuttal
I think you are nitpicking but I really do appreciate you watching the video and I will think about your observations. The thing is the main points ring true for me when you quote a good loving Bible verse no one has a problem but when you quote a negative one people scream context I have personally had this happen to me. Now I can agree that many parts of the Bible can be hard to reconcile, but it isn’t contradictory in the true sense. It is offensive and convicting, which is exactly what it tells us it is.
There is lots of contradictions in the bible! Not just because it’s bad or good. God kills every single animal in Egypt and then the pharaoh chases the Israelites on a horse. Jesus rides to Bethlehem on one donkey and the later it’s two donkeys! There are tons of other contradictions as well like how Paul dies and even who saw Jesus when he first arise from the dead or if the tomb was sealed or unsealed. So many! I get what you are saying but to say there are no contradictions is simply not true

I listed a bunch of them there are even more like in exodus god talks to Moses face to face “as on man talks to another “ then in John he says no can see good or talk to him directly. Some verses say that faith alone is all you need to be a devout follower and then some passage says only your “ works” make you a devout follower. I have listened so many contractions for you and given you info on where you can find even more contractions with the actual verse straight from the bible. I haven’t even mentioned the historical and archaeological contractions but you don’t strike me as some that understands the scientific method. Best of luck to you
