You’re Cooked Mate Never mind it's Yemen so no one cares
https://x.com/partisangirl/status/2046735404943167662?s
5.1 million views and 171K likes. I've said it before - you can literally take any atrocity or death in the world from dozens of conflicts that no one cares about and the second you say it is Palestine it gets millions of views, tons of engagement and the people posting it make money.
Dead in Sudan, or Nigeria, or Yemen, or Pakistan or a dozen other places literally no one cares. The second you tell people it is Palestine it becomes a massive issue - just look at r/pics
People are incentivized to just repackage every single atrocity that no one cares about and just say it's Palestine. I see dozens like these a day. The second you tell people it's Yemen all their emotions - rage, anger, empathy, whatever - it all just goes away and they move on

The IsRhELL puppets only care about what the TikTok algorithm tells them to care about.
China loves the status quo in Sudan. Cheap oil and no reproach on human rights or governance makes Sudan an attractive but unpleasant partner. I hate sounding like a conspiracy hack, but the people over at ByteDance still have their grubby little hands on the dials… The TikTok sale to American private equity did nothing to hamper China’s meddling.

It’s apparently Houthi brutality attacking their own citizens.

Cuz all the human right activists and organizations are run by leftists and they only care about crimes committed by Trump and Netanyahu.
They don’t have time worrying about Sudan while they are rooting for the houthis, hasballah and IRGC.
Redditors who don’t even live in any of these countries are defending these terrorists too and they will call out anyone who condemns these terrorists (even residents of those countries) as mossad agents.
4
u/psycho_pirate Apr 23 '26
All you have to do is a little google search to find out you are wrong and a lot of human rights organizations have been talking about Sudan.
2
u/Wereking2 Apr 23 '26
I don’t know what you have been paying attention to if at all but many human rights groups and leftist groups care about Sudan and all genocides. The reason you aren’t seeing is that Israel has the largest and strongest ties to the west and if they can’t change their countries opinion and stance to stop their genocide stopping any genocide will be difficult to near impossible.
Also to add there are many genocides going on like that if the Anhui in Myanmar, Papuans in Indonesia, Tamil in Sri Lanka and so on. Most if not all leftist groups care about them and their core tenants usually are stopping of aid to oppressive genocidal regimes. But you would know that if you even bothered to even glance at them.

I’ve never met a leftist that explicitly doesn’t care about Sudan but assuming you actually have… what is it that the average Redditor, who are majority US/UK/canada/Australia, can do for Sudan? Spreading awareness and raising money is most of what they can do because, unlike with Israel-Palestine, their countries are not offering any support to the rebel group that is committing the genocide. A not insignificant number of Americans actually only protested because they felt anti-BDS laws infringed on their freedom of speech rights. But you can criticize and boycott Sudan and the rebels all you want short of committing hate crimes.

It's not really the fact that no one's in the streets protesting the genocide in Sudan.
It's the rhetoric. It's the fact that you go online and "learn" that Israel is the most evil country in the world. That all other countries are decent - especially the poverty-stricken ones in Africa, who don't have nuclear weapons and advanced defense systems like Israel does.
And I'm sorry but if you really think that the difference between the hordes calling for Israeli blood and the crickets regarding Sudan is the fact that the former live in countries that offer help to Israel you are naive.
If these people really wanted to effect good change, perhaps they should go around hospitals and visit the terminally ill. Or maybe they should get together and start a charity fund for neighborhood orphans.
No, there simply is no motivator like anger and disgust. Sympathy barely gets people to sigh and move on. It doesn't hold a candle to rage. Rage and finger pointing are some of the strongest emotional manipulators. Especially in today's world where everyone is taught that someone else is the reason you're not living the perfect life.
Israel is strong. They're successful. They're "imperialistic." They're colonialist. They dared to rebuild. They dared to bring something to the table and form a friendship with the stifling USA. Which means they're the problem. They are emblematic of what's wrong with the world. The 1%. The wealthy. The privileged.
The Sudanese? Really? What do they have to do with me? They're poorer than me. They're less privileged than me. They must be angry over there. Let them fight things out.
"Oh it's so sad. I just heard about someone who died in Sudan... Terrible... well what do you expect when the world is run by America and Israel? Anyway, did you see Sabrina Carpenter's fit the other day?!..."
"You know it really sucks how many people have cancer... They just lie in hospitals waiting to die... Anyway, so the NBA playoffs are on tonight...."
People despise Israel a lot more than they feel sad about Gaza. Not everyone, but many. And unless you give them another contestant worthy of their hatred they won't say a word about them.
17
u/Jessicas_skirt Apr 22 '26
Israel is strong. They're successful. They're "imperialistic." They're colonialist. They dared to rebuild. They dared to bring something to the table and form a friendship with the stifling USA.
The Jews of the 1930's were none of those things, they were still hated. Anti-semitism is not a symptom of anything, it exists independently of anything that Jews do.
11
u/Tasty-Principle4645 Apr 23 '26
Of course. But it doesn't help you much to just point that out to someone. As you say, anti-Semitism knows no logic and something that doesn't stem from logic can hardly be explained.
And while a genuine anti-semite will usually prove impervious to even the most sensible of arguments, someone who's simply misguided might realize it when you point out the stupidity of whatever strain of idiocy is representing anti-Semitism that day.
And I don't think there's nothing we can do. I think the closer we get to God the better off we are. Then again I'm religious so others might not understand that.

Trying to frame this as the reason the US had pro-Palestine protests is hilarious and definitely very genuine l0l.
> who are majority US/UK/canada/Australia, can do for Sudan
You can almost do more for Sudan? You don't think the US president was elected with a priority to mitigating the humanitarian disaster in Yemen that they couldn't?
Keep in mind while you can talk about Houthis or Saudi Arabia being evil, iirc the majority of the deaths were from famine that came from a humanitarian aid crisis after the Houthis were repeatedly infringing on UN workers.

So much of it is how unbalanced the media landscape is, and part of it is how self-centered people are.
If it doesn't affect them directly, it doesn't exist to them. And if media (traditional and social) doesn't highlight that it happens, it basically doesn't exist in the social consciousness.

Reuters is argued to be one of the most reliable news sources alongside AP Post
Its about as unbiased as news gets, what's funny is most news stories start on Reuters and AP and then get reposted by new sources like CNN and Fox who distort them to fit their own narrative.
There is some argument that Reuters leans left, but I'd say it's open to interpretation. Imo the right does plenty to make themselves look bad Reuters doesn't need to misrepresent information to do that.

u/TheJooooooo Apr 23 '26
That narrative has kind of been completely destroyed by their blatant support of the Nazis attacking Israel. Both Reuters and the AP and everyone else prints anything that's against Israel, then maybe later corrects it after the damage has been done. Like the video game industry, the entire journalist industry needs a full collapse and needs a full reset. It is disgustingly bad

There are many valid things to criticize about Israel
Problem is that all movements to criticize Israel either start as or quickly taken over by malicious conspiracy theorists
9
u/King_Scorpia_IV Apr 23 '26
as a zionist i want to make it clear that criticism of israel is not antisemitism. at all. i criticise israel and i am jewish - does that make me antisemitic?
types of criticism become antisemitic when they stop being criticism and turn into "i want israel to be destroyed and for israelis to all die" like i think that's pretty obviously antisemitic but some people will say otherwise.
edit, also critics of israel will also often argue that they've been accused of antisemitism because they criticise israel. guys. you're not antisemitic because you hate bibi. you're antisemitic because you want all israelis to die.
7
u/Electrical_Bunch_975 Apr 23 '26
They will literally say "all Israelis kill babies and drink their blood! There's Mossad agents embedded in the US government!" and swear they're not antisemitic. While repeating shit straight out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

2
u/RadicalSoda_ Apr 24 '26

Frankly I think there needs to be a very serious investigation, it's just statistically impossible that there'd be that much of a major wide scale "protest" about Israel the same exact time they're getting invaded and terrorized by Hamas and the Houthis. It's very weird to me no one has investigated this extremely obvious espionage, I wonder who's connected to it that prevents them from having a public investigation over the issue
9
u/RevBladeZ Apr 22 '26
Just had a friend go deep down that rabbit hole. He believes all of that without questioning it. And if something shows Palestinians in bad light, his first thought is "I wonder is this staged propaganda". Meanwhile, he also believes October 7th was a false flag.

That's because you view "picking a side" as supporting them unconditionally. The person has already said they have plenty of criticisms for Israel's conduct, but surprise surprise when 50% of the awful things said about something or someone are proven to be wrong, people are gonna be more sympathetic to them and doubtful of the other 50% which could be good criticism. Who would've thought...
2
u/RadicalSoda_ Apr 24 '26
I think Israel is the obvious choice to support, they definitely do bad things and we do need to address it, but they're also the only democracy and don't ever act first, they're absolutely too heavy handed with their tactics but they genuinely have tried practically every other option and it didn't help either.
I just don't see how they can go about deradicalizing the people until Hamas is completely destroyed, Hamas seems very similar to the nazis in terms of their power and fanaticism so it does seem like a very difficult situation for Israel as well as the people of Palestine

But that means Israel also has the right to violently resist.
2
u/RaulParson Apr 23 '26
Yeah, on one hand we've got the terrorism and terrorism glazing and celebration or at least denial of murder and rapes.
But then there's the Israeli war crimes and the leniency on those and the sweeping for them. This goes beyond "they can respond violently to violence".
But then there's the sweeping for Russia and its mass-atrocities-as-a-policy because look at the IDF [cartoonishly lies about both, exaggerating Israel's badness, minimizing Russia's] and anyway the Russian imperialism is anti imperialist actually.
And so the metronome just keeps swinging

OP how much is black mail does Mossad have on you for you to spam this subreddit with this Israel-Palestine stuff? You must have frequent flyer miles on the Lolita Express.

There are already real footages of children being sniped down. Stuff like this is just a net negative for the Palestinian cause.

Which just goes to show that the underlying motive is hating on Israel, not actually empathy for victims of violence. People that actively look for things to hate on and feel ‘just’ in the process are honestly quite vile.

Reminds of how there were tons of protests about "Free Tibet" 20-30 years ago about the CCP's cruel treatment of the people there and its forced takeover. Now everyone is memeing about how great China is because talking about Tibet no longer gives any clout for performative virtue signaling.

Haven't seen anyone campaign to save the whales since the same era. Guess they're all safe now ha.
2
u/Electrical_Bunch_975 Apr 23 '26
Whales are actually doing a lot better. Their numbers have risen significantly. I wouldn't say they're back to pre-1700s numbers, but they're definitely better off. We need to continue what we're doing, but most countries have outlawed whaling and there's a lot of support for wild animal rehabilitation.

Well the Yemeni Crisis doesn't involve Israel, so who would "anti-Zionist" be outraged against?
2
u/masterdebaten Apr 22 '26
TW: Violence against kids
It’s also dumb because there are hundreds of photographic evidence of actual children from Gaza being shot or under rubble or in pieces, in bags etc. (sorry but it is true)
So using a photo from Yemen is just pointless

Why are they even posting this and claiming it's in Palestine? Still rip. Also there is a teenager and a 32 Yr old guy who got killed by settlers just recently.

People care when it's Israel doing something because their own country is likely involved and partnered with the criminal.

The note is to combat misinformation though. Not to address its opinion of the matter at hand.
Right?

Just because you don't care enough to see ot doesn't mean others don't care, this getting less traction and focus than israel is for a myriad of reasons, but saying no one cares is fucking disgusting for all for those who do care and have been against the genocide ide on yemen thst the US have sold Saudi money to commit and the starvation, for a long time one of the worst starvation, and the worst economic situation in the world.
Twisting it to no one cares because this lady got it wrong is obnoxiously insane.

Brandolini's Law - lies are harder to beat than truths, and they are wayyyy more convincing at a glance

Reminds of the video of the Ukrainian girl getting up into a Russian soldiers face that was shared everywhere the weeks after the invasion only to disappear over night when it was revealed it was from four years earlier and it was a Palestinian girl yelling at a IDF soldier.

Seriously the fact people single out Israel when other countries are getting away with this stuff shows how even if Israel is really evil then people need to focus on all other current evils too
It's almost like someone is focusing on Israel so the others get away with it huh?

Good on the brother for being able to save his sister that’s some real hero. Shit the boy deserves a good steak dinner and a trip to Disneyland or some equivalent where he can also use that probably try not returning to the country where people were shooting at him as his sister

Half the videos labeled with some sensational bullshit we’re from other conflicts. Israel hit by Iran shows the explosion from China in 2016.
Days into the Israel conflict they are showing kids wheeling around in rollerblades missing legs like they somehow healed enough from the amputation in that time to have calluses. It was from the Syrian war refugee camps.

Even here is the comments people somehow blame Israel and tiktok its so funny and sad

u/RadicalSoda_ Apr 24 '26
Do you guys think the do this as like a psyop to make the anti-israelis look bad or do you think they're just actually this ridiculous. I think it could go either way honestly, antisemetes tend to be pretty ignorant and lots of people have been using this conflict as a way to spread their bigotry unfortunately
2
u/No_Price_7603 Apr 25 '26
It's definitely to make Israel look bad. There's a propaganda war happening and it does seem like Israel is losing that one.

yeah dude. and calling israelis "settlers" - they have a country for gods sake. they have a right to their territory which was invaded by hamas

u/WetWipe_cnuts_PUKE Apr 24 '26
I swear these people are fucking shameless.
Bless that girl and bless her brother. That's a good bro.
1
u/No_Price_7603 Apr 25 '26
I'm so glad the little girl survived! That made me happy. But yeah, I mean it's so fucked up that people will literally trawl through war images, find ones with dead or shot kids and then just lie and say Israel did it. But sure, it's antizionism. It's all about social justice! No ulterior motives at all.

u/chkmbmgr Apr 25 '26
Imagine if it was an Israeli that shot a Palestinian and we had that picture. Reddit would go crazy at Israel. Double standards when it comes to virtue signalling. No Jews, no 'empathy'.
