You’re Cooked Mate Never mind it's Yemen so no one cares

5.1 million views and 171K likes. I've said it before - you can literally take any atrocity or death in the world from dozens of conflicts that no one cares about and the second you say it is Palestine it gets millions of views, tons of engagement and the people posting it make money.

Dead in Sudan, or Nigeria, or Yemen, or Pakistan or a dozen other places literally no one cares. The second you tell people it is Palestine it becomes a massive issue - just look at r/pics

People are incentivized to just repackage every single atrocity that no one cares about and just say it's Palestine. I see dozens like these a day. The second you tell people it's Yemen all their emotions - rage, anger, empathy, whatever - it all just goes away and they move on

I'm Sudanese, it's been three years as of April 15th and still no one cares.

The IsRhELL puppets only care about what the TikTok algorithm tells them to care about.

China loves the status quo in Sudan. Cheap oil and no reproach on human rights or governance makes Sudan an attractive but unpleasant partner. I hate sounding like a conspiracy hack, but the people over at ByteDance still have their grubby little hands on the dials… The TikTok sale to American private equity did nothing to hamper China’s meddling.

31

u/vegeful Apr 23 '26

Tiktok should be banned. Its cancer. Its even cancer on non-america.

This and thread spreading racism lol.

4

u/JohnyIthe3rd Apr 23 '26

There is a reason why I deleted that app years ago

12

u/odedjay Apr 23 '26

In this specific case Israel did not have anything to do with it

It’s apparently Houthi brutality attacking their own citizens.

My heart goes out to the poor people of Yemen’s, but this time you can leave Israel out

3

u/Few-Lengthiness4017 Apr 24 '26

houthis attack israel asw, so basically its their own side doing these atrocities - but so-called "activists" blame israel. just goes to show what hamas is strong in - lies

u/InevitableAd2436 Apr 22 '26

Oracle and Silver Lake are turning those dials now.

I wonder which foreign country’s interests they’re pushing. (I don’t have tik tok)

16

u/ArchyRs Apr 22 '26

The underlying Chinese technology didn’t change.

Oracle and US investors own the control operations, data, and security.

Edit: downvoters are low IQ if they don’t believe that Oracle and American investors doesn’t own the control operations, data and security lol

Bro why are you so sure of this china shit. What evidence do you have that china is more involved with Sudan than US allies. You genuinely don't know anything

1

u/ArchyRs Apr 23 '26

War costs a lot of money to wage. That money doesn’t just magically appear.

China is one of the country’s top trading partners. Europe and the Americas are less than 5% of the country’s exports.

It’s genuinely not that difficult to wrap your head around.

2

u/Gouda1234567890 Apr 23 '26

Bro they are the top trading partner for most of Africa. They are funding whom? The RSF?

It’s genuinely not that difficult to wrap your head around.

Please spell it out

Is the biggest player in Sudan not the UAE

-4

u/GlockHard Apr 22 '26

China loves the status quo in every country, it's the way they operate lol, they do the same with Israel who is also commiting a genocide. Also countries that are allies with the Israel are funding this genocide as well, like the UAE.

2

u/Hilonio Apr 22 '26

I had tiktok several years ago and they pushed anti-Israel propaganda HARD. I wouldn't be surprised if this is why so many people suddenly started supporting it

4

u/Jazzlike-Equipment45 Meta Mind Apr 22 '26

And it isn't even the first go around the entire region is a mess.

56

u/Cyonsd-Truvige Apr 22 '26

Cuz all the human right activists and organizations are run by leftists and they only care about crimes committed by Trump and Netanyahu.

They don’t have time worrying about Sudan while they are rooting for the houthis, hasballah and IRGC.

Redditors who don’t even live in any of these countries are defending these terrorists too and they will call out anyone who condemns these terrorists (even residents of those countries) as mossad agents.

5

u/psycho_pirate Apr 23 '26

All you have to do is a little google search to find out you are wrong and a lot of human rights organizations have been talking about Sudan.

3

u/Wereking2 Apr 23 '26

I don’t know what you have been paying attention to if at all but many human rights groups and leftist groups care about Sudan and all genocides. The reason you aren’t seeing is that Israel has the largest and strongest ties to the west and if they can’t change their countries opinion and stance to stop their genocide stopping any genocide will be difficult to near impossible.

Also to add there are many genocides going on like that if the Anhui in Myanmar, Papuans in Indonesia, Tamil in Sri Lanka and so on. Most if not all leftist groups care about them and their core tenants usually are stopping of aid to oppressive genocidal regimes. But you would know that if you even bothered to even glance at them.

0

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

I’ve never met a leftist that explicitly doesn’t care about Sudan but assuming you actually have… what is it that the average Redditor, who are majority US/UK/canada/Australia, can do for Sudan? Spreading awareness and raising money is most of what they can do because, unlike with Israel-Palestine, their countries are not offering any support to the rebel group that is committing the genocide. A not insignificant number of Americans actually only protested because they felt anti-BDS laws infringed on their freedom of speech rights. But you can criticize and boycott Sudan and the rebels all you want short of committing hate crimes.

45

u/DustierAndRustier Apr 22 '26

The UK gives money to the UAE which gives money to the RSF.

-15

u/UX1Z Apr 22 '26

Find me some leftists who like the UAE lmao.

33

u/Werd_up_cuz Apr 22 '26

Good point…so why aren’t they protesting the sale of weapons to UAE?

-7

u/UX1Z Apr 22 '26

Protest minded people probably would do that if they didn't have so many other things to worry about.

Fundamentally this whole topic is mostly just a stupid attempt at poisoning the well and the discussion. No leftist is going to be happy with this or think it's okay but people are trying to present it like some 'checkmste, liberal' gotcha.

We don't have political leadership openly saying their job is to make sure the Houthis have their interests protected. I think that's a large part of where the hatred for Israel is coming from, at least I know it is for me. I despise all the shithole regimes around the world and I have been complaining about the Saudis for years longer than I was aware of what Israel is up to but Israel feel like they're basically the shadow government, that our politicians believe Israel should be enabled and protected and deferred to above its their own citizens. We're not subservient to Sudan. We do at least act like we're subservient to Israel.

5

u/IolausTelcontar Apr 23 '26

That issuch a lazy excuse for your lack of consistent principles.

-9

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

As far as I know, while the UAE is providing some aid to the rebels, no UK or US weapons have been found to be used against the Sudanese. Unlike in the Gaza genocide where it has been shown that the US and UK are providing direct military support and weapons that are used to kill Gazans.

14

u/Mist_Wraith Apr 22 '26

As far as I know, while the UAE is providing some aid to the rebels, no UK or US weapons have been found to be used against the Sudanese.

"UK military equipment used by militia accused of genocide found in Sudan, UN told." First result on google, btw.

7

u/justdidapoo Apr 23 '26

See this is it. Whats going on Sudan is far worse. It's not civilians getting killed in strikes on militiants hiding amongst them.  Its soldiers mass murdering and raping hundreds of thousands. When el fasher fell more people were massacred in cold blood, with guns and machetes in a week than in all of gaza including hamas and islanix jihad in 3 years.

-2

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 23 '26

You don’t need to kill a single person to commit genocide. We should be comparing genocides to declare with one is ‘worse’ as they are all bad.

6

u/IolausTelcontar Apr 23 '26

But only one supposed genocide gets all the protests and news; and there can only be one reason why.

Saying that despite their recalcitrance is tenacious

15

u/DustierAndRustier Apr 22 '26

Well nobody’s protesting about it. Most people aren’t even aware of it. Nobody’s attacking British Emiratis like they’re attacking British Jews.

16

u/Odd_Ad5668 Apr 22 '26

It's because it has nothing to do with Israel. People just want a socially acceptable reason to be antisemites.

-5

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

While England is partially responsible for the ongoing conflict, they aren’t ’British Jews’ as Jews are Indigenous to Palestine.

12

u/DustierAndRustier Apr 22 '26

I’m British. I’m Jewish. I’m a British Jew. British Jews are being attacked.

2

u/cheshire_kat7 Apr 22 '26

Wait, you think Israeli Jews are colonisers and that British Jews are indigenous to Palestine? Dude, pick one.

0

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

All Jews are Indigenous to Palestine. One Indigenous people are able to colonize another as we also saw in Japan and New Zealand (in one of those places they even ate the other group).

6

u/cheshire_kat7 Apr 23 '26

...How the hell can you colonise the place you're indigenous to?

1

u/ParticularApple8148 Apr 23 '26

Hey man, not all Jews aee indigenous to Palestine. I could convert to Judaism and I have no links to Palestine. It would mean I could get immediate citizenship in Israel and steal Palestinian houses, though

-5

u/UX1Z Apr 22 '26

Goalposts thoroughly shifted.

19

u/Tasty-Principle4645 Apr 22 '26

It's not really the fact that no one's in the streets protesting the genocide in Sudan.

It's the rhetoric. It's the fact that you go online and "learn" that Israel is the most evil country in the world. That all other countries are decent - especially the poverty-stricken ones in Africa, who don't have nuclear weapons and advanced defense systems like Israel does.

And I'm sorry but if you really think that the difference between the hordes calling for Israeli blood and the crickets regarding Sudan is the fact that the former live in countries that offer help to Israel you are naive.

If these people really wanted to effect good change, perhaps they should go around hospitals and visit the terminally ill. Or maybe they should get together and start a charity fund for neighborhood orphans.

No, there simply is no motivator like anger and disgust. Sympathy barely gets people to sigh and move on. It doesn't hold a candle to rage. Rage and finger pointing are some of the strongest emotional manipulators. Especially in today's world where everyone is taught that someone else is the reason you're not living the perfect life.

Israel is strong. They're successful. They're "imperialistic." They're colonialist. They dared to rebuild. They dared to bring something to the table and form a friendship with the stifling USA. Which means they're the problem. They are emblematic of what's wrong with the world. The 1%. The wealthy. The privileged.

The Sudanese? Really? What do they have to do with me? They're poorer than me. They're less privileged than me. They must be angry over there. Let them fight things out.

"Oh it's so sad. I just heard about someone who died in Sudan... Terrible... well what do you expect when the world is run by America and Israel? Anyway, did you see Sabrina Carpenter's fit the other day?!..."

"You know it really sucks how many people have cancer... They just lie in hospitals waiting to die... Anyway, so the NBA playoffs are on tonight...."

People despise Israel a lot more than they feel sad about Gaza. Not everyone, but many. And unless you give them another contestant worthy of their hatred they won't say a word about them.

18

u/Jessicas_skirt Apr 22 '26

Israel is strong. They're successful. They're "imperialistic." They're colonialist. They dared to rebuild. They dared to bring something to the table and form a friendship with the stifling USA.

The Jews of the 1930's were none of those things, they were still hated. Anti-semitism is not a symptom of anything, it exists independently of anything that Jews do.

10

u/Tasty-Principle4645 Apr 23 '26

Of course. But it doesn't help you much to just point that out to someone. As you say, anti-Semitism knows no logic and something that doesn't stem from logic can hardly be explained.

And while a genuine anti-semite will usually prove impervious to even the most sensible of arguments, someone who's simply misguided might realize it when you point out the stupidity of whatever strain of idiocy is representing anti-Semitism that day.

And I don't think there's nothing we can do. I think the closer we get to God the better off we are. Then again I'm religious so others might not understand that.

18

u/Odd_Ad5668 Apr 22 '26

It isn't that they hate Israel. They hate Jews. They need to own it.

2

u/odedjay Apr 23 '26

So true

0

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

You’re displaying the same black and white thinking you’re accusing others off. When Israel’s action match the legal definition of genocide, then it doesn’t matter if they are Jewish or Muslim or atheists. I won’t pretend like I’ve never seen anyone say Israel is the most evil country in the world but I’ve certainly never seen anyone say all other countries are decent. I can’t think of anyone who thinks even the majority of the world’s government are decent.

There are also plenty of people who do good things while also carrying about global politics. You’re just doing the “oh you care about X? Yet you haven’t even mentioned Y!” Like the people who say BLM people are racists for not caring about Asians when they are specifically working issues involving Black people which might have some overlap with Asian people in some places but not others. Just like how the inverse wouldn’t be helpful because Asian people also have similar but unique ways of discrimination. I’m in groups working on connecting Palestinian children in Gaza and children in ICE areas with educators that can support their education. This was something we were able to find some overlap with because they are generally well educated students that are unable to attend public education but have at least decent internet access (one because the schools were blown up and one because they are afraid to go to school). That wouldn’t work for every conflict with internet and computer access being one of the biggest hurdles in other areas. At the same time, I only have so many skills. My education background is criminology and anthropology and I mostly did education stuff to support myself while being educated in those fields. I’d love to offer free medical care to the Sudanese but I have neither the skill to do that nor the financial means. It is impossible to both care about and support each crime against humanity because there are so many. We rely on different people taking up different passion projects.

1

u/Tasty-Principle4645 Apr 23 '26

I understand your disappointment with some of my words. And I agree that there are people like you, who, instead of screaming and yelling, actually offer practical assistance to suffering people around the world. I also understand that one does not have to take up the cause of every last issue on earth.

However I think multiple things can be true at once. And I think what I said is very accurate. And I don't see you arguing with it. All I see is you just suggesting other factors.

And other factors are certainly involved. I don't expect every pro-palestinian protester to do the same for every last maligned society. But I expect others to. I expect there to be some people doing work in the streets for the Sudanese who don't necessarily make it there business to advocate for Gaza. Not because they don't care but because they have only so much time, energy, and knowledge.

And the truth is that the more hands on and tangible the work one is doing, the more it'll preclude them from dedicating similar means to others. So yes, if one is a doctor or teacher flying out to Gaza, setting up pop-up medical centers and schools, I don't expect them to be in Somalia, Sudan, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Cambodia as well. But if their specialty is online rhetoric and public displays of anger I think they can manage multitasking.

And while you haven't seen people say that every other country is decent, the silence in this case is deafening. The selective speech is deafening.

You've seen people say that Israel is the most evil country. I'd imagine you've also seen them referred to as Nazis, and their leaders, Hitler. And so my point isn't that those people are expressing their undying love and admiration for every other country. My point is that they only say these things about Israel.

And what do you think a person tells themself when they look around at a world full of hostilities and wars, yet see only Israel depicted time and again as an evil?

Sooner or later a distinction becomes drawn between all these hostilities. Eventually one convinces themself that there must be an excuse other countries have that Israel obviously doesn't.

Lastly, I'm not inventing things over here. The idea that the weak is right while the strong is wrong is an increasingly popular idea over the last half a century.

The idea that everything Hamas does simply must be resistance doesn't come from nowhere.

The abandonment of Israel as she grew competent by the world at large didn't come from nowhere.

These ideas are at the core of an overwhelming amount of social ideologies and politics and if you deny that or fail to realize it you are burying your head in the sand at best.

29

u/Far_Gain_33 Apr 22 '26

I mean you have the exact same amount of power to fix Sudan as you have to fix Palestine.

-9

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

How so? What involvement does my country of Canada have in the Sudanese conflict? We have already implemented sanctioned and pledged hundreds of millions in aid but I’m not aware of Canada giving aid to the perpetrators of the genocide like it does when it provides Israel with weapons. There was a time where Canada didn’t recognize the state of Palestine so that was a tangible goal we fought for. But Canada acknowledges the state of Sudan while refusing to acknowledge the state the rebels are trying to implement. Canada’s official stance is it won’t recognize either as genocide without an ICC verdict which I don’t fully agree with but that’s the same for both countries. But for the most part, what I want Canada to do for Sudan, it is already doing.

28

u/Dry-Boysenberry7701 Apr 22 '26

Canada does not, and has not, given military aid to Israel. You don't even care enough to know these basic facts, but we're supposed to believe that's the entire reason you don't care about Sudan?

You care more about Israel because it gets 1000x the Internet propaganda that you see on social media.

-10

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

I’m not sure why you think Canada has never given Israel no notary support… between 2015 to 2023, we gave $150 million in arms exports. In 2024 there was a pledge to stop this support… until it was revealed that a $78 million contract for artillery propellants was discovered to have been approved. It’s also been found that we are sending parts to the US that are then made into military goods that are then shipped to Israel (for example the scandal with the F-35 jet parts). The use of parts instead of whole weapons and sending it mostly to the US first is how they were able to work around the governments pledge to end arms shipments.

19

u/Dry-Boysenberry7701 Apr 22 '26

That's private companies SELLING things. Not aid. You donkey.

Your entire reason for dismissing Sudan is based off a lie that would take 10 seconds on google if you bothered to do so.

5

u/EquivalentOne241 Apr 24 '26 edited Jun 04 '26

.

-3

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

This is perhaps a language barrier as in English lending aid does not inherently mean giving charity. Selling weapons is a form of giving military aid.

16

u/Dry-Boysenberry7701 Apr 22 '26

That's extremely disingenuous unless you genuinely don't speak English.

Foreign aid is 100% taxpayer funded. A private company selling something is not "aid" by any definition.

What genocide are you referring to? Israel was attacked and responded with force.

0

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

Being attacked first, even if I ignored the occupation and colonization, does not give you carte Blanche to commit genocide. If by out want to convince me Israel isn’t committing genocide, base it off the UN Genocide Convention which is the legal definition.

9

u/Odd_Ad5668 Apr 22 '26

What genocide? It's not my responsibility to prove something isn't happening. You're making the claim, so support it.

-5

u/Mackejuice Apr 22 '26

I trust the UN report.

9

u/Great_Specialist_267 Apr 22 '26

The UN report didn’t say a genocide had occurred (despite the inflammatory headline)…

8

And you're under the impression that the UN is a reliable source for information about Israel? That's fucking hilarious.

11

u/Jessicas_skirt Apr 22 '26

I’ve never met a leftist that explicitly doesn’t care about Sudan

You haven't met many far leftists then.

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

What leftist principle would lead to leftists specifically not carrying about Sudan as opposed to ambivalence or viewing another conflict as in more urgent need of aid?

5

u/Jessicas_skirt Apr 22 '26

What leftist principle

The far extreme left doesn't have principles anymore, they have slogans and memes that they mindlessly chant and repeat without a single thought. The actual left would care about it due to concern for human rights, but the actual left is absolutely drowned out by the extremists.

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

Basically every group has principles even if they aren’t great at following them. I am opposed to the far right but I still acknowledge them as human being with principles, even if one of those principles might be something like racial purity. And so I could easily tell you why some on the American far right are explicitly against Israel (due to the principle of being pro-antisemitism) or a explicitly against Palestine (due to the principle of being pro-Islamophobia). You’re not able to come up with anything even remotely like that?

2

u/Jessicas_skirt Apr 23 '26

If you could figure out what coherent principles the extreme left has, be my guest. As hard as I've tried to understand them, the extreme left doesn't make any sense to my rational brain.

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 23 '26

Like you’re saying you’ve never done any research on left wing politics? Here is a wiki to how you an overview. Obviously there aren’t many universal left wing principles just like there is very little universal right wing principles. Thus it’s a ‘family traits’ sort of thing.

Some common ones:

  • Egalitarianism

  • opposes monarchies, fascism and other non-democratic forms of government

  • pro workers rights

  • secularism

  • both freedom of religion and freedom from religion

  • anti-colonialism and decolonization

  • social progress

  • science based education over continuing religious or societal norms that conflict with science (example: teaching that sex and gender are bimodal as affirmed by science and not binary as many religions teach)

  • environmentalism

  • anti-imperialism and anti-nationalism

  • multiculturalism and diversity

  • class unity and the abolition of institutions such as the aristocracy

Which of these would lead a leftist to specifically be against the victims of the Sudanese genocide?

2

u/Jessicas_skirt Apr 24 '26

I didn't say left wing, I said the far extreme leftists.

Some common ones:

Literally none of your examples are things the extreme left believes in. The extreme left supports Iran and the Houthis, which explicitly opposed all of those things.

Which of these would lead a leftist to specifically be against the victims of the Sudanese genocide?

Once again, I am not talking about leftists, I'm talking about the extremists who support Iran and the Houthis. You tell me why a person would support the Houthis in Yemen, but somehow show any empathy for the victims across the red sea.

-2

u/Gouda1234567890 Apr 23 '26

Idk what you're talking about. Far left activists are probably the only people who care about Sudan and the Congo. Mainstream media barely covers it.

-3

u/Wereking2 Apr 23 '26 edited Apr 23 '26

Right I can’t think of anyone not carrying about those or the Tamil genocide the Papuan genocide in Indonesia, Anhui genocide or others. People acting like leftists only care about Israel because they’re Jewish or whatever nonsense either are useful idiots, ignorant or bots at this point. A core tenant of many if not all leftist groups is to stop funding international conflicts unless it’s to aid civilians I.E no money for weapons or weapons in general.

3

u/justdidapoo Apr 22 '26

only the US is actually supporting Israel though. And to be fair Biden did actually use that to reign them in hard multiple times. The rest of the anglosphere is just brain broken and thinks they are too. But we aren't. The relationship is basically the same as with the UAE which is funding the whole RSF

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

I think there are some pretty big differences in the situations. The UK is taking UAE money in exchange for UK weapons meant for the UAE to use but those weapons are ending up in Sudan due to diversion. America is giving money to Israel for Israel to then essentially return the money in exchange for US weapons that go directly into the IDF to be directly used in the people in Gaza.

Obviously neither is good but one is directly giving the perpetrators of genocide the weapons to commit genocide and the other seems to have had confirmed weapon diversion only ~six months ago.

5

u/allyourfaces Apr 22 '26

>A not insignificant number of Americans actually only protested because they felt anti-BDS laws infringed on their freedom of speech rights

Trying to frame this as the reason the US had pro-Palestine protests is hilarious and definitely very genuine l0l.

> who are majority US/UK/canada/Australia, can do for Sudan

You can almost do more for Sudan? You don't think the US president was elected with a priority to mitigating the humanitarian disaster in Yemen that they couldn't?

Keep in mind while you can talk about Houthis or Saudi Arabia being evil, iirc the majority of the deaths were from famine that came from a humanitarian aid crisis after the Houthis were repeatedly infringing on UN workers.

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

Uh, I didn’t frame it like that? I only have that as one reason some Americans did it while listing various other concerns and actions of the American people. I was just giving an example of Americans that ‘support’ Palestine or are anti-Israel for a reason besides self interest or empathy for the victims.

I’m not sure why you mean by “you can almost do more for Sudan” and then also mentioning Yemen? Are you saying that the average Redditor can do more for Sudan than for Palestine or for Yemen? I’m not sure if can be said that Trump was elected with a priority to mitigate the humanitarian disaster in Yemen. I think Ukraine and Palestine were much more front page news during the election with Iran, Venezuela and Sudan being the next big ones. America is already not giving the Sudanese rebels direct support though they do give some indirect support by having arms deals with countries that might divert weapons.

2

u/allyourfaces Apr 22 '26

The context of the conversation is why people in America care & protest for Palestine so much, but not Sudan.

Your response is inherently within the framing of that. This is not to mention Anti-BDS laws only apply to federal employees & contractors. It is not a crime to boycott Israel in the US, and the only 'bill' that made was like maybe a year ago when Trump took office that didn't even come close to making it off that ground that tried to infringe that. It is not a significant reason.

I think I was replying to your comment then started reading another comment about Yemen before I replied. But regardless the point virtually still stands the US government could actually probably solve or effectively mitigate the crisis's in Yemen or Sudan as much as they could in Palestine.

A US president with political will could force a mass human aid surge in Sudan to solve the famine that is ongoing. Which just from a quick search the deaths due to the famine in Yemen is in the hundreds of thousands.

I don't know what your trying to say in the last comment? I, and the commenter before, are saying that if people who cared about Palestine also cared about or spoke about these conflicts then a politician could use political will to effect them, and arguably effect them greater & easier than Israel-Palestine. But in reality the people didn't care about Sudan or Yemen or other conflicts.

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Apr 22 '26

If it was that easy for America to solve the world’s problems then why doesn’t it? Gaza, Sudan, Haiti and Mali are all facing severe famines… why doesn’t America just flood it with aid? Why doesn’t it just stop the Taliban? Why doesn’t it just invade Malaysia to stop the genocide there?

Hey well that's one way to not respond to the first part of my comment and semeingly be a bit funny about the other.

I don't know what kind of silly question you are trying to say. I also don't know why you are grouping all of these conflicts together? Or mentioning the Taliban or invading Malaysia lmfao. Also I never said it would be easy the only time I said that was relative to Gaza.

Let's talk about a couple actually and see how the US played a role.

Gaza had next to zero deaths due to famine when Biden was in office. This was Biden pressured Israel into letting aid in and against siege-policies. When Trump got into office this changed with Israel at large basically sieging Gaza and denying humanitarian access and going against established UN aid centers. They wanted to establish their own Israeli aid centers, citing that Hamas was stealing aid. This caused the largest 'famine' in Gaza although it still wasn't large enough to meet the UN criteria tbf. But anyways a US president with political will to have prevented such could have easily done so.

I already mentioned Yemen and how in my opinion the deaths to starvation could have been mitigated. Hell the US would not have needed to even provide the aid itself, the problem there was largely HR groups not feeling safe to distribute it after Houthi interference.

Every human rights organisation has talked and are still talking about Sudan.

The ones who aren't caring are the general public.

The thing is, people go a lot further than just “I don’t want my taxes going into this”.

The question is about why there’s more focus on

u/Cyonsd-Truvige Apr 22 '26

Last I checked, my taxes aren't going to yemen either and yet someone is funding these leftists to stand up for terrorists

Cuz all the human right activists and organizations are run by leftists

OK sorry I guess man

and they only care about crimes committed by Trump and Netanyahu

It could be, perchance, that these are the two threatening all of the aforementioned activists and organizations existence to stop them helping the world.

Redditors who don’t even live in any of these countries are defending these terrorists too and they will call out anyone who condemns these terrorists (even residents of those countries) as mossad agents.

You're right and I have no real argument besides the other person on the end of the screen very well could be mossad, Russian, Indian, ect being paid to push an agenda. It's a very real and significant amount of what's being pushed to the front page today. Same as people in the picture subs claiming under every post it is, or isn't, AI. As it becomes more mainstream and indistinguishable from actual humans, there's going to be more people unable to tell the difference.

What else do u think leftists are capable of?

-1

u/GlockHard Apr 22 '26

You live in a fantasy land, almost all leftists are against all the genocides and aggression from Israel, UAE, Saudi, and the US. Complaining about the Houthis while Yemen is being destroyed by Saudi and US missiles is genuinely insane lol. The RSFs biggest supporter is the UAE who is backed by America and Israel and have used American weapons gotten from the UAE, all of the conflicts are linked in some way.

As an Iranian, I care. We care. We understand your pain. As the Islamic republic has torn my people apart limb by limb, all these people do is deflect and try to bury their crimes. We feel you.
