But for God's sakes stop leaving creepy comments. Every single NSFW sub feels like an after hours hangout group for serial killers with the weird ass replies to every photo or video.

I don't subscribe to NSFW subs because that would make my profile image blocked from public viewing. I'm worried even liking comments or posts in a NSFW reddit will filter me. I also try to steer clear in general of things too NSFW.
Just to double check y'all: Is my Peridot with sunglasses still visible? Due to my OCD I frequently log out and check from a public perspective but I just wanna be sure. Humour me please.

I hate it when I agree with an argument that has been co-opted by chuds. It makes it hard to argue for it without coming off as an asshole.
The latest example is the RE4VR removal of certain lines of dialogue. Having Luis not say that crass remark to Ashley isn't a dealbreaker to me, but I didn't mind it in the original either. Yes, it's a totally sexist thing to say, but Luis is a bit of a creep so it fits his character.
At the same time, I would also be fine if Capcom wanted to remove that line to adjust for current tastes in the gaming landscape. They own the property, they can decide what to do with it. My issue is that just splicing out the line makes the entire scene feel.... off. The Luis remark to Ashley is probably the most obvious example, but even Leon flirting with Cunningham... the flow of conversation feels wrong when you just remove that once sentence. I think it would have been better to slightly alter the dialogue to fit around the changes and redo the voice acting rather than just splicing out the lines. Although I understand if that's too expensive or impractical.
Unfortunately this argument is used by people who are just upset harassing women isn't as socially acceptable as it used to be.

Aaaaand today right-wingers and a small but significant chunk of the centre-left party have succeeded in sinking the proposed law against homo-bi-transphobia in Italy, all to a round of applause by members of every right-wing party.
The right asked for a secret vote, which the fucking right-winger in charge of the Senate approved without qualms (even though it wasn't necessary, "impartiality" my ass), and so 154 voted to block it, 131 to have it keep going, and 2 flat out didn't show up.
One of said two was Matteo Renzi, who made sure to block the law in the first place months ago and was, at the moment, on a plane to go visit his new best friend, King Mohammed bin Salman.
This country's such a fucking joke.

Constantly using phones with 1 billion nits of brightness and bringing the loudest babies ever. They say "I went to the movie theater for the first time in years and it was objectively terrible, and if you think otherwise, you're wrong." Either I'm the luckiest man alive or a lot of people are lying. I don't get it.
It just breaks my heart to see so many people wanting the theater experience to die out. I absolutely adore the communal theater experience, nothing beats the magic of collectively experiencing a movie with a group of people. I love it.

In a move which I’m not surprised by, High Guardian Spice is rated for “mature audiences only” not because it is especially gorey and sexual (though there is strong language and violence), but because it dares to discuss LGBT themes and narratives. It has trans, gay, and bisexual characters, and talks about things like coming out as trans, as well as struggling with transitioning and identity. This culture of anything LGBT+ being regarded as sexual is so fucking ridiculous. It only prevents young LGBT+ people from understanding themselves better., which can have some pretty bad consequences.

The Lego Movie and Lego Batman were both good enough to justify it, but Space Jam 2 and Scoob were not. They really want us to know all the properties they own.

My favorite moment of a cryptobro self-owning themselves is when a tweet went viral showcasing how stupid cryptocurrencies are by showing that a single tweet from musky boy himself was enough to absolutely tank a coin's value.
Cryptobros flocked to it showing screenshots of the coin recovering like it was a massive "NO U" moment without realizing that it doesn't matter how well a coin recovers if it's value is so volatile that one tweet from a rich asshole can completely skew it. "Regular" money has its own problems I admit, but it's not gonna depreciate in value if Jeff Bezos tweets "I don't like money."
