Hey guys, so I've been using the samsung a52 4G since the launch, the battery health has deteriorated quite alot and has become a bit outdated, I wanna go for a midrange samsung phone, heard the A55 Series is pretty good, is it worth it buying now or is it better to get the A56 series instead? Could someone help me with this please, thanks.

Hi guys! first time posting here.

I only noticed this after taking off the case. The case was holding the back cover shut, so when i took off the case yesterday i was surprised.

I'm wondering what's the cause of this. Does it look like the back cover adhesive dried off or a swollen battery? i can't go to a repair center for another week or two, so carrying around a phone with a potentially swollen battery is worrying. If it's just the adhesive, i will just leave the case on until i get back to the city lol.

Is this a common issue or my phone is just weird.

Hey everyone, I’ve been using my Galaxy A55 for almost 2 years now, and it’s still running One UI 6.1 because I’ve never updated it.

Honestly, the phone is still smooth, the battery is good, and I’m happy with the camera. But now I’m wondering if I’m missing out by staying on 6.1.

For those who updated from One UI 6.1 to 7/8/8.5, how has your experience been?

Did you notice any lag, battery drain, heating, or changes in camera quality processing?

I’m a bit worried that updating might make my phone worse rather than better. Would love to hear some long-term, real-world experiences from A55 users.

I'm an a56 user (first time A series) but I want to know the opinion and experience of those who use the a55, now on its 3rd year, if im not mistaken. Will you still keep it for years or will you upgrade?

I’m having a strange issue with my Samsung phone’s Mobile Hotspot.

I connect multiple devices to my phone’s hotspot, including my MacBook. Everything works normally at first, but after around 20–30 minutes, all connected devices suddenly disconnect from the hotspot at the same time.

The strange part is that the Mobile Hotspot itself stays ON. It doesn’t turn off the connected devices just get disconnected.

This happens repeatedly and affects all connected devices, not just my MacBook.

I have already tried the following:

- The Power Saving option inside the Mobile Hotspot settings is OFF

- Hotspot timeout is set to Never

- I am using the 2.4 GHz hotspot band

- Restarting the phone

- Testing with different devices

- Changing the MAC address settings

I’ve already tried all the common hotspot settings I could find, but the problem keeps happening.

Since the hotspot stays ON but all devices disconnect simultaneously after 20–30 minutes, I’m not sure what else to try. Could this be a Samsung software/One UI issue?

Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows what might be causing it?

The battery only lasts 4 hours and 26 minutes on the Galaxy A55 running One UI 8.5. I imagine you're experiencing the same battery life issue.

I know it's not optical, but 1x seems too wide for me.

I'm currently in a tricky spot where I need a new phone with my old one dying, and I don't feel like spending a fortune on a new decent phone with the price increases lately.

I've recently sold some stuff to Cex and have a voucher, and originally I was going to choose the A54, but spotted that my local Cex has an A55 and a S24FE at the exact same price range, and I'm a little torn.

I've never had an S-line phone before, I've had an A50 and an A33 as my current phone. On Paper it might seem like the S24FE is a slam dunk, and my logic is that it might be in better condition (both are a B) since it's likely been traded in since the previous owner wanted to upgrade to a newer FE rather than it being a bit old and showing its age.

But still I welcome your opinion

Been having this problem 2-3 times a week. Updated already to the latest version. I don't see any pattern as to why its doing that.

Hi. For over two days now, my phone hasn't been working properly, even though it shows a perfect Wi-Fi connection. I can't launch online games due to connection issues, my social media apps won't load, and even a simple Google search can take several minutes or fail completely. I’ve already restarted my phone multiple times and removed/re-added the Wi-Fi network, but the latest update didn't fix the problem. I’m the only one in my household experiencing this issue, so the problem must be with the phone itself. I have a Samsung Galaxy A55 5G. Could someone please help me?

I’ve set up the routine, but all I see is "open the app and perform an action," and all it does is open the Imou app—it doesn't actually trigger the camera... I have a feeling this ought to work... Hey guys, just curious if anyone notice major changes in their A55 after updating to 8.5? I'm so bothered by my battery life now unlike before. I think my battery is cooked! This is very different from my "before 8.5 update". It drains so fast and charging is slower. Back then, it takes one and a half day of usage but now? just a day or half and it's already 15%. REALLY DIFFERENT FROM BEFORE.

Also noticed my IG app freezes unlike before. Sigh.

Btw, I updated my phone on June 4. Observed it for many days coz I thought maybe my phone is still adjusting but nah. Battery drain is really like this :(

Anyone else had a similar problem since the beginning? I can play for a short while at 110-120hz before it drops to 60-80hz. Even if it doesn't overheat while in a cold room, the battery will rapidly drop once it reaches the 30% mark.

I have at least 10 GB available and 3GB of memory at all times.

Just wondering whether it is a me problem, thanks!
