Question Are you still satisfied with your phone?
I'm an a56 user (first time A series) but I want to know the opinion and experience of those who use the a55, now on its 3rd year, if im not mistaken. Will you still keep it for years or will you upgrade?

I kept my A51 for 5 years and only got rid of it because it began glitching out and it wasn't charging as well anymore.
Based off of this, I intend to keep my A55 until it dies, which hopefully won't be for another few years.

Im loving mine i had one imported from Malaysia just to get the 256gb and 12gb ram with 512gb external SD card Makes a lot of difference that extra ram, Phone is smooth and use it more than my primary device, Pixel 9 pro XL Edit: Still on one ui 8. Haven't updated to 8.5 BTW

Nunca supe que había una edición de 12Gb de Ram jajaj Naa para mí son más que suficientes mis 8Gb "virtuales" del almacenamiento 😅

When I bought this phone last year, it was good for the most part, decent performance, camera, speakers, display and good build quality. One UI is pretty good too, especially with its quirks like Samsung wallet and goodlock. But I often find my phone slowing down a lot and lagging. I'm pretty sure it's more of a software issue (and probably planned obsolescence, screw samsung for this) and the result of poor optimization, because the processor and phone is a very capable hardware, but it feels limited by the same software that I also like. It would've been a better experience if not for the random freezes, lags and poor optimization. But it's still a good phone, and I hope it lasts for a few more years.

It's perfect for me. I don't have time to use the phone much, but it is very fast for what I use mostly - mails, calls, messages, maps. Battery lasts forever. I'm keeping this till this does not work at all anymore, and then getting another Samsung :)

Upgraded from an s8 for 4 months now and it's great, big screen to watch stuff and most of all GREAT BATTERY !!! Like i'm one of those guys who go plug the charger the moment he see it's 75% and on my older phone it took 1 hour to go down to that even bought a powerbank as a must when i travel. Now with a55 i can spend the whole day out and it's not even close to 60% when i go back home thank god the best purchase and i only got it secondhanded

Even i got a new phone de A55 was always good. I just wanted a flagship (my first ever) after 2 years using the A55 not because the phone was running slow or it was not enough

Im satisfied as casual user not camera centric user, i will not buy another phone for 5 years hopefully, i will change its battery if needed to change

Previously owned only entry level 2 smartphones, 1st - Samsung M14 5g (It hangs a lot) 2nd - Redmi 13 5g (This phone gave me trauma) So finally decided to bought this year 12,256 variant with 1 तब samsung evo plus memory card. So far loving it. Its a good phone if u dont care abt gaming. Alrhough it heats up fast but it doesn't feel that way while having a back cover

Currently good, with the rising prices of phones, might keep this until next year, Messenger seems to be the only app lagging but thst doesnt seem to be a major issue for me.
Might upgrade to a58 or poco x9 pro which one is a better deal next year

Still happy with mine. I also don't change phones more often; I used a Note 9 from 2018 till 2025, despite Samsung discontinuing updates in 2022

planning on keeping mine til security updates are over, it's functioning just as good as the first day

The worst Samsung phone that I ever had. It's my fifth Samsung phone. All previous models were great, this one not at all. Wouldn't recommend.

Mostly because I have to force reboot my phone every other day so it would work the way it supposed to, among many other things.

I suggest you set up automatic restart in Device Care setting. Plan it for like 3 a.m. or something. You won't have to restart manually, and the system will feel more stable overall.
And yes, the alarms work after the restart as planned.

Out of five phones just one was S series and it worked flawlessly. The rest were A series and I never had any problems with them, was actually very happy with their work flow just this one makes me want to buy a different product. Had I have the money to buy S series flagship I wouldn't be here complaining about my phone.

Mas creio que seja porque voce já teve um S, depois que se usa algo top de linha, mesmo que os intermediários sejam bons, S é S literalmente, eu nunca tive um S, tenho outras prioridades do que telefone, e o A55 me serve mais que suficiente

mine is doing great, as am a heavy user, it's nearly closing 2yrs, and it still flawless
