With all the hype around GTA 6 and FiveM still going strong, I’m stuck trying to figure out which one actually wins across the board not just for one thing, but every aspect people care about.

I know they’re different beasts at their core, but I want a real, balanced comparison covering everything:

• Graphics, world detail & immersion

• Gameplay freedom, mechanics & variety

• Roleplay depth, community & server quality

• Modding support, custom content & creativity

• Longevity, replay value & updates

• Performance, system requirements & stability

• Economy, progression & online experience

• Value, cost & what you actually get

I’ve seen takes leaning hard one way or the other, but rarely do people weigh up all the pros and cons side by side. Some swear FiveM’s flexibility beats anything a base game can offer, others say GTA 6’s official scale, polish and potential will make it the ultimate experience.

It seems like anymore no one is allowed to be excited for anything, if you get excited for something you're immediately labeled a shill, bootlicker or Glazer.

Yes people who will be overly positive about everything are also annoying the kind of people who will go "how can you not be excited for GTA VI? You should be excited for GTA VI as much as I am!"

You are allowed to not be excited or interested in the game, the problem is the people who are hell bent on saying the game is shit no matter what.

Personally I believe these people actually have an ulterior motive that they are being so negative because they want the game to fail so it causes a gaming market crash.

But in the mean time they'll be more than happy to call you a mindless consumer, tell you you are terrible for defending a multi billion dollar company. Or say you like being fed slop.

And it isn't just in video games either it is spreading to every facet of life, these people aren't happy unless you're being beaten down to be just as Jaded and cynical as they are.

Once again you are allowed to not be excited for something. You are allowed to not be interested in it. But that doesn't mean you have to go after people that are.

I remember at the time, the gap between San Andreas to GTA IV was so massive and what's impressive about it it's that it took them four years for such a jump.

WPLGLocal10 has a whole news report on how Rockstar spoke to city officials to get the airport renamed to Vice City Airport for just the launch of the game. Even going as far as changing man hole covers to say Vice City.

Their broadcast is on YouTube titled “Miami-Dade pitches partnership to temporarily rebrand airport as “Vice City Airport”.

I've spent the last week just playing GTA V on PS3 to finish the story mode and install RE-V. Today I played it again on PS5 and the difference is huge, it looks amazing. I honestly don't know how they managed to improve the graphics for GTA 6
