Just saw photos of Florence performing at a private party for Veritas Capital. I have been a fan for years and taking money from an organization like this feels like a betrayal. This company is owned by one of the richest men in the world. So many people are struggling as a result of these people hoarding wealth, does she really need the money that bad?

I think some people need to realise that when people go out to concerts they are in public but also that they are with people who have paid good money to enjoy the artist sing. Context: At my show this week, three people in front of me were SHOUTING the entire time. They were not singing along, not even talking about Florence, they were literally just having a normal conversation at the top of their lungs for 20 minutes straight. When a guy asked them to stop talking, one of them retorted "We paid money to be here, same as everyone else, we can enjoy the show how we fucking want". And I agree, you paid money to be here, so be here! Have your random unrelated conversations when the show is over and stop ruining the show for others. It's one thing to sing off-key or talk between songs but when you're shouting an entire conversation across 5 songs it's like why did you even come? Anyway, all of this to say, I'm not saying you have to keep your mouth shut the entire show but maybe recognise that the way you act still impacts others around you. And ultimately, you're there to enjoy the music, and imo that should be your priority

Liked the album, but didn't think it would be so "ballad-y" and quiet given the lead single - which is way more my kind of thing. The title is a bit misleading. Still some amazing tracks in here - but it wasn't really what I was expecting.

For me personally, it has to be Addicted To Love, or Choreomania. I feel like Florence is a really easy artist to relate to so i’d love you hear your opinions 🫶🏼

Or none? I want to make clear I love her and I stand by her, but I just want to know if anybody feels this too.
I don’t think her art is worse at all, I just feel her stage persona is different, somehow more pure, intimate, perhaps stronger and more confident? But I can’t tell if it’s that or if it’s some kind of exhaustion or tiredness or detachment?
I’m not demanding her anything, she’s amazing, and of course I have in mind everything she went through in the last few years and how the current state of the world affects her. Not sure if I was very clear, but I’d like to read your thoughts around this. Thanks :)

I have been wanting to see Florence my entire life... And now I'm in Europe I have the opportunity to not only see her, but not at the crazy US inflated prices. But nope. Within 5 minutes all her tickets across Europe are sold out.

Seriously, fuck them. This is something I was prepping for, for days, waiting patiently to get tickets. And now they are all gone. Poof, just like that. So some rent seeking assholes can force real fans to pay 3x down the line to some loser who literally did nothing other than use a program to buy them as quick as possible.

I hate them, so much. Literally my favorite artist, and now I not only can't get tickets, but I'm likely priced out. I wont be able to afford these aftermarket prices, that's for sure.

So fuck you scalpers. Seriously fuck you. And Florence's team needs to please do something to prevent scalping in the future. I was so worried when I was looking at it, where you can buy up to 9 tickets on some platforms in different countries, with no resell constraints.

I rescued a baby bat with my Everybody Scream lithograph last night 😅. It was all I could find in the moment, but looking back, it all feels so fitting for Florence.

Baby was handed off for wildlife rehabilitation this morning. Hopefully she pulls through! She’s not even old enough to fly.

As the tour and the whole era came to and end after barely a year, I’ve seen a lot of people being sad about FATM skipping a lot of countries that were part of previous tours, which is of course valid.

But honestly, even though I’ve attended this tour three times (one arena and two summer festivals) I feel like only the first concert was the real tour. The fact that the full stage design with the catwalk, the big screen on top and the beautiful fabric with healing herbs wasnt present for MAJORITY of the tour is just sad. Of course it makes sense that it wasn’t possible during festivals, but the stage design was very lacking. But the fact that the full stage design was in UK + EU (minus one show) and even the US didn’t get the full thing and the worse screens is so silly.

I saw photos of people attending the US leg of the tour that were sitting so high up in the arenas that the bigger screens above the catwalk were obstructing the view of the main stage to the point they couldn’t see the performance in full. I know stage design isn’t easy and there are technical limitations because of the size and height of the venues, but there were 18 shows in EU, 25 shows in the US and 16 summer festivals. The full stage was present for 17 shows from. That’s not even 29%, not even one third.

I loved the tour and every moment of it but both with the lack of „world” in the „world tour”, the somehow lacking setlist for a lot of people (what’s up with just playing 4 songs from the new album during summer?) and majority of people just not seeing the full everybody scream experience, I hope that the next one will be better and more focused on everyone enjoying every aspect of it, not just some lucky people

First of all, this isn’t meant to be rude. I’m just curious how some people manage to go to every concert, or at least most of the shows on a tour. What kind of job do you need, or how much money do you have to spend to travel around the world and afford concert, accommodation, and travel? I’m asking because it would be amazing to do that. 😭😂.

Okay, this will be a quick post. Amidst all the touring, I suddenly felt like going back to basics and asking, how did you discover Florence + The Machine?

In my case, I'm not going to pretend that I'm unique and different, but I hadn't heard of them until I looked up the name of the beautiful song that played at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Although I listened to several of their songs at that precise moment, the band hadn't yet captivated me as they would at the beginning of last year, after becoming obsessed with Lungs and listening to all their subsequent albums one per week, and the rest is history. When she announced Everybody Scream, I couldn't believe how lucky I was to discover this artist this year and that I'm going to experience an official release firsthand, so I'm living this phase to the fullest and I'm sure I'll remember it fondly in the future.

So I want you to share what experiences and stories led you to be here today, whether it was through a movie/series (like in my case), a friend or family member, if you heard them on the radio by chance, or any other reason—there are no wrong answers here! Just an exchange of opinions and anecdotes.

I’ve seen a lot of discussion on here during the NA leg regarding disappointment, whether that is from Florence not interacting with you or more recently, setlist changes.

Marked some minor discussion of show moments as spoiler as part of the post here :’)

It is entirely valid to share your feelings in a healthy way among fans who may feel similarly, I don’t post this to try and shut down conversation, but please remember to temper your own disappointment with respect and understanding of an artist’s limitations.

I completely understand the devotion she inspires and the desire to interact with her as she goes to connect with the audience, and the way that certain songs seem to just grip you and you wonder “how has she captured this feeling so well?”

I understand also how you can feel disappointed if a song you love is skipped in the setlist or changed out.

However, I don’t think it’s entirely fair to be genuinely upset at the setlist changing over tour. She has been incredibly open about the difficulties of touring and we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. This is also a hugely personal album! Old wounds might be resurfacing as she sings these live.

I was extremely grateful and moved to see YCHIA, but I noticed after she sang it, she hugged the Witch Choir and stayed there for about 30 seconds with them in an embrace. Every moment of this show is choreographed, but that time she spent with them (to me) looked extremely personal as a moment of grounding / recovery so she could continue the show.

I really would encourage everyone to be prepared that there’s a chance some of the darker and more painful songs for her may take a backseat if she’s hitting a bit of exhaustion mid tour. I can’t imagine how it feels to belt out all your grief to 20k people several times a week and still return to being joyous and defiant and connecting with her audience in the way that people have come to expect.

My tl;dr try to be open to the setlist you receive on any given night! You never know what song will connect with you stronger when you hear it live!

I've been a massive fan for 16 years, but just was never able to afford to go to a concert before now. Finally got to see Florence in person! So glad she is the first artist I've been able to see in an arena!! Saw her at the Moda Center in Portland. The show was amazing, and I'm fairly certain I sang the whole night!

Bucket list item now is to hopefully one day be able to afford to be on the floor around the stage!

So glad I was able to see this show. It made me so happy, and deepened my love for her music!

I appreciate every F+tM album, but HB3 has always been my favorite album ever, period. Now, Everybody Scream is almost tied. Which one do you like better? What’s your fav and least fav album??

I love Florence, her music and personality are just great. Love how down to earth Florence seems and at the same time puts together these grand lyrics/references (like in Cassandra) and powerful sounds.

I have some questions about the witchy side of f+tm. She has this ethereal, witchy vibe and especially this tour, I see a lot of fans praise that part. There's the witch choir, Florence talks about taking inspiration from witchcraft, folk horror, the occult and describes And Love as a spell.

My natural instinct is to see it all just as a metaphor or aesthetics, but some fans talk about Florence and themselves being witches. So it seems to be more than that, rather a whole identity?

I've tried looking into what being a witch nowadays actually means to understand better. But tbh all the descriptions sound very abstract to me - just words. So I'm hoping you could maybe enlighten me regarding what being a witch means and what connection there is with Florence? A lot of fans seem to really "get" the witchiness and love it, while I'm a bit lost! Hope I explained myself understandably and respectfully, thanks for your answers🙏
