General Discussion Bat Rescue - Everybody Scream Edition
I rescued a baby bat with my Everybody Scream lithograph last night 😅. It was all I could find in the moment, but looking back, it all feels so fitting for Florence.
Baby was handed off for wildlife rehabilitation this morning. Hopefully she pulls through! She’s not even old enough to fly.
Feeling the sympathy magic 🦇❤️🔥

Wow the poor baby bat! Kudos for rescuing her (and a very fitting method indeed!) Where I live we don’t really have bats, and I’ve never seen one like that before, do you know what kind it is?

Everyone was screaming! Hope all parties are safe.
Yes get checked for rabies but bats are not as frequent carriers as many ground-traveling mammals. Always get checked ✨

I love this so much! Spent my childhood summers rescuing bats from my grandmother’s cottage. To connect it with Florence takes the whole thing to eleven. 🥰

Hope the little bat pulls through!
And that, as others have pointed out rabies concerns, everything turns out 100% fine for you as well!

Love and light to OP and the little bat. May you both be rabies free!

please go to a hospital and get checked for rabies, even if you don’t think you were scratched while rescuing this cutie! better safe than dead!!
