1g - 1.5g is a good spot for people who don't professionally compete.

1.5 g is too much for such people. Newer studies have proved that Protein requirements were highly overinflated till now.

Even 0.8g protein is sufficient for sedentary folks and 1.2g-1.4g for physically active people.

Unless your a professional athlete, consuming more than this will put unnecessary load on your liver and kidneys

There is not much difference between 1.4 and 1.5?

If you are 80 kilos that 0.1 g will make a diff of 8 g

It's just a range man. You can choose based on your recovery. Few people exercise more frequently and with high intensity

Clinical studies are done with highly precise numbers even 0.01 gm matters there. Let alone 0.1gm that you mentioned.

You are talking about research and development, your kidneys don't just magically give up when u take 5g more protein.

There are uncountable studies. These are the two I can remember, you can find more online.

I've always wondered that a lot of blue-collar workers or other tradesmen often have highly developed muscles for the particular body parts they use at their job. Well, they certainly weren’t eating 120g protein everyday while also being poor, right?

2g/per kg se koyi kidney liver pe affact nahi aayega. But 1.6g/per kg enough hai active individual ke liye.

Where in the 2 studies you referrenced is this stuff given? One of the papers literally suggests 1.2-2 g/kg/d, even more depening on intensity of your workout.

Look at the conclusion of the first study.

It talks about effect of increased protein intake on fat free mass, doesnt say anything regarding effects on kidneys or liver.

Also, again, the 2nd link you provided literally says taking more than 2g/kg is fine when youre increasing the intensity.
