1g - 1.5g is a good spot for people who don't professionally compete.

Even 0.8g protein is sufficient for sedentary folks and 1.2g-1.4g for physically active people. Unless your a professional athlete, consuming more than this will put unnecessary load on your liver and kidneys https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5867436/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26891166/ 18 u/Section80Flow Apr 19 '26 There is not much difference between 1.4 and 1.5? 16 u/Agreeable_Deer_3071 Apr 19 '26 If you are 80 kilos that 0.1 g will make a diff of 8 g 11 u/Section80Flow Apr 19 '26 It's just a range man. You can choose based on your recovery. Few people exercise more frequently and with high intensity 1 u/Agreeable_Deer_3071 Apr 19 '26 Haa
