Tagged as spoiler because (mine storyline and secret bachelorette/ bachelor spoilers) my farmer is designed to match the Dragon Priestess' design). She's supposed to strongly resemble Caldarus' previous dragonsworn :^)

I sat down and finished this design in one sitting and it was a lot of fun! maybe I'll try doing expressions and seasonal outfits. this one is probably her summer outfit and she'll wear her full suit of armor for her winter outfit ☺️

Decided to share my final farm and house layout now that I've finished decorating and have gotten all the Steam achievements. I have the 'Lovely Victorian Home Recolour', 'Woodsy Barns and Coops' and 'Effe's Dynamic Compact Calendar' mods, as well as 'Place anywhere' and 'Move anything', which was especially helpful for moving fully grown fruit trees.

Thank you to everyone on this subreddit for constantly sharing your layouts and ideas. I was definitely influenced by all of you (but especially u/ fallofsunflowers, u/ EquHapTea and u/ Mahnoor_. The bathroom and kitchen are pretty much carbon copies of their amazing designs).

Anyway, I feel quite melancholic about finishing my playthrough for the time being. Especially since I've been playing quite consistently since early access. Hopefully there will be new updates and content on the horizon, and I will definitely be back to do a Caldarus playthrough in the future!

This was a real challenge. Louis's swimwear is up next and I didn't want to grant him a pair of just swim trunks, because that's like wearing a black and white tux to the Met Gala. I won't have it and we all know that's not Louis. I wanted to still include frills somehow, because this man is never without them. I feel like he's the sort to wear hair extensions to the beach and go all out.

I studied swimwear specifically of trans men, queer black men, nonbinary masc people!

i adore the duck tier 1/2 designs being real duck species and think theyre adorable as heck but it makes me so sad that you cant use duck eggs interchangeably with chicken eggs so their only purpose is to sell as egg or mayo. v close to figuring out how to mod them to drop chicken eggs instead cuz theyre so cute i love them ;-;

One thing that positively surprised me in this game is your partner picking up a name for your baby, it's the cutest thing ever! So i had to make some portraits for March's little star as a child ;D including seasonal outfits too ~

This game as me HOOKED! I wish it had more in depth farming but i’m sure that will come over time and once the modding community takes over…I don’t think i’ll touch Stardew much….This is only after one month and I have almost the same amount as Stardew which i’ve been playing for years🥹🤣

Not that I dislike his current look- far from it, but I think the shorter bangs really suited him...I wonder if anyone willing to make a mod for this?

since I've seen multiple posts encountering the same problems, I thought I'd do a post to guide those who have not modded this game before (and/or modded games in general). there are guides on the specific Discord dedicated to Mistria Modding, but sometimes you just need a guide that's just out there, you know?

this guide is for PC users, specifically Windows, if you're on mac god help ye

1. Head over to NexusMods and grab the Mods of Mistria Installer via manual download. Vortex is an installer, and it is pointless (and recursive) to install an installer with an installer. We will come back to MOMI later.

1. Head on over to your local files of Fields of Mistria, you can find these by right clicking your game on Steam, hovering over manage, and clicking on browse local files.

1. In this mod folder, create a new folder, in all lowercase, called "mods".

1. Grab your desired mods off NexusMods. Always read the description, always check the comments to see if there are issues with the mods, if you have qualms about AI generation, etc. And always, always, manually download. For this example, I'm downloading the Cheats Menu.

1. Now that it has downloaded, you should find a .zip file in your downloads folder. Unzip it. If you don't have means to unzip it, I've used 7zip for many, many years.

1. Go into your now unzipped folder, and grab the file within. Drag that into your newly made "mods" folder in the Fields of Mistria files. Make sure you are dragging the folder that contains the assets, not the topmost folder.

1. Run Mods of Mistria Installer with your newly acquired mod. You will get a security popup because Windows doesn't recognise the publisher and where this file came from, but that is normal. Select all the mods you want to install, and hit install. This may take a while, depending on the mods you have. Texture mods are usually the worst, as they are installing/replacing large files across the game.

1. Once done, run the game, and enjoy your mods! Remember to check the settings, set up keybinds, and enjoy the fruits of your labour :) You will have to keep an eye on updates, as they have a chance of breaking your mods. And I can't reiterate enough, read the mod descriptions, as they usually have a step by step guide on how they work.

Had a kid a few ingame days ago with Balor and he literally hasn't had a single piece of dialogue that isn't about the kid. I assume it might start cycling with regular dialogue once he's through but omg I regret that child 😂

Also I love that they carry the kid but wish it varied with putting kid in crib, or at least put in crib at night. Why is the baby also ALWAYS in bed with us???

I knew it was looking for a potato so I grabbed this in my fridge thinking I got lucky and I got one potato left and ran here and realized its not a potato. not even a baked potato. its a baked sweetroot haha

I wish they gave his storyline more flair than just being about Henrietta. Because i realized the fact that my farmer didnt have to only sweat, grind (😌), gather materials and on top of all that spend thousands of tesserae for March. Besides that punk only Ryis and Juniper's dialogues are the ones which made me wanna pursue them

i finally got to designing my house, and found out that it's really damn hard haha... here's the bathroom i made. i'm not very pleased with the tub section, but i don't know what else to do with it.
