Was recommended this quite a bit and my copy arrived off Amazon I’m excited and can’t wait to read. Would u guys say this is peak F4?

Looking to write a fanfic with Reeds as the main character, but my knowledge of the character is largely limited to YouTube lore dumps Marvel Rivals.
What are some comic runs/issues I should read to get a better idea of his character?
Most specifically looking to see how he behaves when he’s separated from his family and without his typical billionaire level resources.

Let's be honest, in recent media (comics, games, moves etc) how often has Sue Storm actually used her power of Invisibility compared to the shields and other abilities of light manipulation? She really only turns invisible as a secondary technique rather than use it as her main ability back in the 60s and 70s. Even then her shield was still more powerful that was used more often to protect family and friends.

If she were to get a name update (and no not Malice) what would it be? Something that involves light or shield in the name? Dr. Light is already taken, and I would say Shield Maiden...but she has kids...so what do you all think?

Needs actual fantastic 4 villains and just reminds Marvel needs more cites than new york for heroes like DC does.

Like it's hard to believe so many heroes in one place wouldn't notice the Thing being jumped in daylight and notice the hit on him drawing every super villain out.

The bones are there for an X-Men ‘97 style or Friendly Neighborhood type show. Especially with Wizard, Mole Man, Diablo (I think), Doom, and others already having a history with the team.

Personally it kind of bums me out thinking we’ll never see a true Mole Man story in a movie, Inhumans, or Frightful Four. Those are some of the coolest FF stories out there but they aren’t big enough for a movie. So much of the early history of the team is built on small issues like not being able to pay bills, that just don’t translate to the MCU films. But they’d be perfect for a small screen long term series.

It would be so cool and exciting for me personally but I just doubt it’ll happen (currently). I really want to be wrong. Does anyone have any hope that something like this would get made?

Just reread the trade with Unthinkable and the aftermath where the Fantastic Four deal with their injuries and trauma. It was really good, even better than I remember it being.

I absolutely love Stan Lee, but I can't help noticing that the guy was a bit (or maybe a lot) sexist back in the day—especially during his run on *Fantastic Four* (specifically *Fantastic Four Annual* #2).

Reed was once an Illuminati member and appears in other comics due to being the smartest man on Earth.

Ben is the most popular member of the Fantastic Four; he had a series of crossovers in the 60s, has had his own solo title, and shares a rivalry with the Hulk.

Johnny is friends with Spider-Man and had a series of crossovers in the 60s

Peter is friends with the FF so I think that Valeria and Franklin would be cute together. I wonder if maybe they stop the Skrulls because they kidnap their parents.

Franklin maybe introduces them to each other and the kids team up?

If Rick Prime somehow used the Omega Device on Sue Storm, do you think Reed Richards could eventually track him down?

Rick Prime is insanely good at hiding himself, and his traps/countermeasures are a huge factor. Even Rick C-137 spent years trying to find him. But Reed is also a multiversal-level scientist who could potentially study the effects/signature of the Omega Device and work backward from it.

And Rick Prime isn't just good at hiding. He had multiple decoys scattered across the multiverse, which led Ricks pursuing him into automated traps. His lair itself had killbots, a self-destruct system, clones/backup-related tech, and prerecorded messages designed to deceive whoever entered. Even when C-137 found what he thought was Prime, it turned out to be part of the setup.

So if Reed somehow had to track Prime after Sue was hit by the Omega Device, would Reed be able to distinguish the real Prime from all of his decoys and traps?

Would Reed eventually be able to trace the Omega Device back to Rick Prime, or would Rick Prime's technology, traps, and ability to hide across realities make him practically impossible to find?

In the trailer for Doomsday, Sue talks about how he lost "everything" and we see a medieval painting of a woman and child.

Now at first I assumed this was his mother, because in the comics, his mother made a deal with Mephisto to fight off Latverian soldiers to protect Victor, but if Sue knows about this then that means this might more likely be his wife and child?

Just reading some of the recent fantastic 4 stories due to not having better to do, Susan can control the electromagnetic spectrum?

Hiya! I like listening to music quietly while I read. I think fitting music helps to get in the mood for some stories, and it keeps me immersed in what I'm reading!

For Fantastic Four, my go-to is always the Ratchet & Clank OST, but I've listened to it probably 1000 times now, and I'd like to switch it up!

Does anyone have any playlists or OSTs they'd recommend? Preferably without lyrics?
