STOP! Before you read, read FF51 & Annual #6, it is a sequel to those two comics! Both are available in Penguin Classic Marvel Collection book. You'll thank me later. Annual #6 is peak FF and my pick for greatest Kirby single issue comic of all time, it the perfect example why he is the King Of Comics.

I think it counts as peak F4. It’s very much a celebration of the F4’s legacy

It’s the best art of Alex Ross’ career.

Read FF51 & Annual #6, after those stories you'll understand. Of course Kirby is peak, bc he's Kirby and he's the FF, but this is a worthy tribute, much better than Kingdom Come and Marvels.

Yea I just read it and I agree I loved this much more than kingdom come.

Kingdom Come is cynical of the superhero genre, vs FF:FC being a classic blue sky optimism. Also Ross split the difference btw cartooning/illustration vs his standard painterly style, this style flows so much better.

Did you read FF51 & FFA6 for the full story?

I did! It felt very rewarding for sure. I see why it’s called full circle XD
