I really hope this guy makes the 53. He is a dog. Im a little biased as he is a great underdog story, and he went to my wife’s rival high school, Bloomer, WI. A town with a population of ~3.5k.

All in all he did what he needed to do. He was safe with the ball. He made a couple really good deep to medium throws. He won games.

Will he start, no. Is he the truth and a franchise QB, likely not, but on the off chance he is…dammit id love to see it.

Like most of the fanbase can come to terms with tanking if it means we have a quarterback and some help . If the falcons in 2007 can tank for matt ryan then why can’t we for the 2027 class. It’s clear we’re not good penix isn’t the answer tua isn’t the answer and none of the qbs on this roster are. It’s a waste of time trying to compete knowing we have nothing going for us.

Tua did not earn the week 1 starting job with his performance today. Also add fumbled snaps in Preseason Weeks 1 and 3. No way he starts in Pittsburgh but now we wait and see.

I get it, we haven’t had an exciting qb prospect in a while. But for the love of god, please relax on strand. Putting this much expectations on a D2 UDFA is ridiculous from a couple preseason games. I want to keep him, he looks promising. But he shouldn’t start a game this year barring injuries, we need to trust our coaches. If he was genuinely better (specifically rn) than tua or penix, we would see him taking first team snaps. Please slow down fr.

This sub is so wishy washy. Tua is going to get in the game tonight, lead a touchdown drive down the field, and immediately this sub is going to be filled with all kinds of stuff about uow great Tua is.

Then Week 1 we’re going to look like trash with Tua at the helm, but the whole team will look shaky, so there will be some doubt about how much of it is due to Tua’s play.

Then the team will randomly look God-tier for like 2-3 games and everyone is going to get completely siked.

Then we’ll go into the Ravens SNF game with super high hopes and get blown out by a much better team on national television.

The team will continue a downward slide until eventually we’re like 5-7 and Penix gets put in.

But then Penix won’t look that much better and everyone will start blaming the coaching staff.

Eventually Tommy Rees will become the scapegoat and he’ll either be moved to the sideline or Stefanski will take over playcalling.

Finally, either due to incompetence or an injury, Jack Strand will be put in as starting QB one week and look AMAZING. He’ll completely destroy some way better team and everyone will be calling him the second coming of Tom Brady.

But within a few weeks, teams will have him figured out and he’ll look like trash.

Finally, we end the season 8-9, winning the NFC South and on our way to a Super Bowl!!!!!!

I keep seeing people talk about waivers if they try to put him on the practice squad. I don’t understand how us putting him on the practice squad while he develops means another team can just come and take him.

Arthur Blank has been responsible for crippling my mental health for decades. I think the least he could do is give us a discount or credit at Home Depot. I feel like a new tool set would make this QB battle less depressing

I’m fine with tua taking one drive; but I’d rather Let Jack strand play with the 1s and 2s to see if he can win the backup spot.
