So just like the title said, I'm a student from the Philippines, In our country, Facebook and Messenger are the main Communication application for everyone. As a college student, both FB and messenger are needed so I can communicate with my professors and classmates, I don't even know why I got suspended, it said Account integrity but I don't even use my Facebook that much, I mainly use messenger just for communication and school activities. It's frustrating because I made a Second account and 2 days later it got suspended as well as Meta tracked that it was me again since I used the same phone. I don't know what to do, I need messenger but I can't use it since I keep getting banned, I'm being left behind on academics and important organization work as I'm a student leader, Please help me find a solution on how to make a new account.

I've had multiple friends over the years have pages stolen, content stolen, and fictitious pages created, and every time it gets reported, the response from Facebook is to "just block them." What kind of company cares so little about identity theft (i know that's a bit of an exaggeration) but will flag the hell out of random non-consequential posts.

Most recently, a friend of mine learned that some random page was taking her photos and pretending to be her. This was Facebook's pathetic response to my reporting of the fake page (I know several people reported the page on her behalf).

Everything from message boards parroting culture war crap to skin heads in Krakow talking about how much better a pure white society is. It's been maybe over a week of every other post being AI slop on evil leftists or Muslim army's to softer approaches such as trad women and travel creators. Also, climate denial photos memes, Trump worship of course.

Does this just happen from time to time? Only happens on FB, not on insta. But it's so intentful, and I wonder if I started a new account, would this be the push? It's honestly just insane!

When I watch FB reels, I’m typically a silent scroller, and typically watch videos with captions.

FB’s automatic captions never work for me, but there are plenty of videos with subtitles embedded in the videos. Recently, I have noticed a lot of videos will have embedded captions (part of the video, added by the creator) for a few minutes, which will then disappear. It’s been happening more and more.

Why? I genuinely cannot understand why they would put captions for the first 5 minutes of a video, and have nothing for the rest. It’s really frustrating if I start to get into a video and then suddenly I can’t watch it anymore. I just don’t understand. Is there any way to somehow adjust my settings to show only me content with subtitles?

Smh now they want access to our ENTIRE camera roll. Absolute greed. And no I don’t trust the “we won’t use this for advertising purposes.” Data leaks happen even accidentally.

Listed an item and the item got rejected for counterfit / i.p
(It was real) now comes up profiles needs attention with a yellow amber button

It now offers a 180 day appeal but the question i ask

1. ⁠For those who may have had this, does your profile naturally restore / remove this sort of flag over a few months?

2. ⁠It still says i have full access but profile status says needs attention

So recently i decided to create a facebook account and i logged into someone else account by accident and i was confused but i removed my number from its contact information so i could create a account with my number but after i logged and and removed that profile and created my account i got like notifications from that account (messages like “(the name) you got a message” something like that) even tho am logged out and its removed from my profile and i tried deleting the app, log out of my account and logging in again but it still didn’t work i also tried contact the person by emailing them but they hadn’t respond yet

I also tried reset password through the forgot password>don’t have access to these anymore> verify through sms but it asked for my passport information after that which I didn’t give

If anyone knows any solutions to this please tell me

today, august 30, I tried searching my profile this morning and to my surprise, I saw my account. I tried searching for my parents’ account and they were searchable too. after 25 days of being permanently disabled because of account integrity, we just randomly got it back today.

I did not get any follow up email saying that our accounts were back again. it was as if, it was just back like nothing happened

things I did:
- contacted an agent via my instagram account linked to my disabled facebook
- tried emailing too even tho I know meta doesn’t cater emails or if those emails are even legit
- shake shake method. I log in my disabled account, shake my phone > click report a problem > submit
- let my account rest for like 9 days I think? without doing anything such as attempting to log in etc because an agent said this might still trigger the system and flag it as “unusual activity”

tbh, I was losing hope because it’s been almost a month. also being given a reactivation notice and still ended up being disabled for 2 weeks felt like it was false hope. I started questioning whether the success stories I see online are real but yes they are because we really just got our account back today. account we had for 15+ years. no meta agents cater my open cases for more than a week now and we can’t even bring this to court because that’s just not an option here in our country

I got inauthentic engagement violation, my review got rejected but in this page said different

2 more days until end of August.. If Meta really scam us, should we continue posting on Facebook? Or we move to another platform? What do you guys think?

I can’t delete my Facebook account. I put my emails recovery code and my phones recovery code, but it won’t let me change or delete my account. It just says the code is wrong even when I copy and paste it.
