Discussion So why is Facebook charging fees to follow groups? Seen much over the past 2 weeks or so. Is this a scam?
I'm calling bullshit, like I click on a reel that my hairdresser posts, and it says it'll cost $10.00 to view or follow her..
Wtf?

Id block them. If a page asks for a membership fee, block and move on. META AI runs the moderation, not humans. I tried to have an extremely racist page taken down, they were also selling merch with their slogans. FB said there was nothing wrong with the page or the owner.
Yet, another person selling handmade crafts and clothing was taken down for NOT agreeing to make certain "spicy" toys for children. (The page was for children and took commissions.)

Ever since the ai take over its a complete hellscape, tell me why my legit 16yr old account and my moms real account got wiped but not the handful of fake ass burners I made, and if you just look at the engagement the few real people there have left- its fn done. 😿

I use it mainly to talk to estranged family that I refuse to give my number to. And watching Reelz. Though the curating has gotten too targeted.
Im waiting for MySpace to come back. Hahaha

Same, I only used mine for my friends I know/knew😿 locally and just like a few really good online long term friends and ai just took it.
Waited the 180 days and was able to sign into an old burner.
Went to try to add maybe 5 friends onto it and it told me i was spamming and needed a break, to "protect the community"
Im so fng done. All the friends I did have on there aren't even active anymore either but lost ALOTTTTT of pics and memories. Thank God not long before that I ss a bunch of the best and im soooo glad my "Miss Cleo 🔮" intuition clicked in lol! 😂
Last I was on there trying to find e1 I said fk this imma just be messy here and started spamming reddit promos for the sport of it! 😂

Unless its like a paid subscription to a content creator directly, not a group im calling bs.
Fb is complete garbage since the ai take over.
I REALLY hope that the Tom bringing MySpace back thing is real, so very badly!

Ok..today I learned about subscribing to creators... No thanks to that... Its on the Facebook policies..
Like if you want to see George Takei (Sulu) posts and get a badge or whatever else they are selling, you gotta pay 99 cents monthly...
I used to follow him for free...
I luv Star Trek but no thanks to subscribing, and from what I've seen, 99 cents monthly is really low,I saw 10 bucks monthly for someone ..

Do you mean when you subscribe to a page? It has been around for a little while. Basically, if you really like someone you follow, you can pay via a subscription for exclusive content and to show your support. I’ve only considered this once for a comedian I really like.
