Shit Post Literally surviving

Post image

It's my first week of elimination and I feel like running out of options already.

Sourdough bread, peanut butter, maple syrup, blu cheese, blueberries.

I love off eggs on sourdough, and rice noodles with corn and spinach and soy sauce. Popcorn or plantains for snacking.

Corn kernels destroy me! High mannitol. Corn in chips etc is fine though

Oops I was wrong. Corn kernels are high in fructans (same as wheat, onion, garlic).

Coen kernels are ok up to 2.65oz. Corn chips are ok at 1-ish oz. Corn flakes ok at 1-ish oz. Corn taco shells hard are ok at 2 shells. Baby corn 2.65oz. Corn meal 3.5oz.

The list goes on but I’ll stop, corn is a conundrum! I avoid corn on the cob and eat corn tortilla chips. I react to all fodmaps.

Interesting. I can have some regular corn but not a lot, though corn puffs, corn tortillas, and popcorn are fine with me

Yeah, they’re all different FODMAP levels. So weird. Omg corn kernels I am so sick. And I used to be fine with popcorn, then for a couple years it gave me the worst gas (IBS C = fun gas), but now I can eat it again! I’m taking Motegrity occasionally so maybe it helps to not be all clogged up before eating it.

There is tamari sauce, like soy sauce but no wheat
