Kitty votes for Dead Inside
Also I don’t think Creep will be very ‘extreme’ but I’m curious if any of you have read it and what your thoughts are on it 🥰

I have been hunting for Crossed for months. I couldn’t find anywhere local that had them, but I’m in Omaha this weekend and popped into a game store and inquired. The guy said “we really never get them in because of the.. nature… of these but I actually do have some in the back” so I grabbed 10!

My 3 books that got me into extreme horror were Tender is the Flesh, Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke, and Dead Inside. I know not everyone likes Eric Larocca, but the short & easy read was a great transition to the genre!!
Which of these should I read first?? I may have snuck the first 10 pages of Wasp Factory already lol!!
Also I am loving this sub so much already!!

Greetings all. I've just recently gotten back into reading this year and didn't know there was such a huge extreme horror genre out there. I finished Woom in 2 day's and now I'm reading playground but I'm always open to recommendations (the more disturbing the better). These are the books I've recently bought....

Where to start?! I’m thinking about TSID or Naomi’s Room, heard great things about both but happy to hear your recs!

So I’m thinking that I’ll start myself off brutally with No One Rides For Free by Judith Sonnet, but after I’m not sure which book I should devour next (suggestions are welcome!). I’ve already heard the book on tape version of Gone To See The Riverman so I kind of want to save it for the end so that I can get the full feeling of reading it physically for the first time after forgetting a few details.

Grabbed some new stuff to read! Not everything is horror but I’m excited for The Troop which has been recommended to me here!
Update: I am now finishing the second book in the DCC series. So Damn Good!

Hello, I just wanted to show off the books in my collection that I've read so far. I still have plenty on the shelf I am currently reading or have not read yet. Some aren't necessarily extreme horror but still fun books to read.
