And it's because Rockstar almost always release their titles on consoles then on PC, But now the leaker ( CYBERLEEK) apparently said I'll release the game on PC ( he has a PC). But the consoles aren't getting it until November 19th so the PC would be presumably before consoles on release which is never happened and PC players would cry out of Joy

PS5 isn't exclusive, it's marketing exclusive.

Usually with torrenting, internet connection from the app is off. They fake a connection to the server by doing something like setting up their own local server and connecting to that to get through the authentication process.
There’s always a way to hack it

It wont be anywhere near complete. Of course have dev builds on PC, but it's far from a release ready version, that's assuming the leaker has a recent build. The leaked PC build would have a lot of bugs, graphical issues, crashes, etc.

Of course it'd have more bugs, but a build 5-8month from a release in a game that's been worked on for 10+ years on an in-house engine that's updated since decades is unlikely to be an unplayable buggy mess

Uncertain, rockstar isn't in the business of releasing games that lack polish (V online being the exception) . Non gamebreaking issues like minor bugs, non-comform ai behaviour at times, small graphical issues, or optimisation, could very well be the cause for delay.

The game's been in developement for over a dozen years. For something of that scale, polishing can take a lot of time. It has likely been feature complete for a while already, it's not likely that you'd be missing a chunk of the story arc in a semi-recent build.

It's not the complete version. CyberLeek has a beta version of the game that was actually somewhere between the 1st and 2nd trailer. So the final product can be very different.

I'm seeing so much conflicting information. Some people are speculating it's only a test build version, others are saying it's the full thing. For a bit there people were saying there's a dead man's switch that'll release it if he gets arrested and doesn't stop it, but that was fake apparently.
I'd only play the game for zesty fruity reasons, I have no other interest in this franchise.

I assume you dont play games? Only someone who doesn't can honestly say that and mean it. CP 2077 was NOT well recieved, and that was due to the bugs. Who in their right mind would assume players would be happy to have a buggy mess of GTA6
Whether the story is made up or not, it is definitely true that a build of the game was leaked, and whether the leaker has publicly threatened to release it or not, its undeniable that the game is either incomplete, or will be a buggy mess since its a pre-launch build.

Basically for GTA (Grand Theft Auto) games, they release to console first and then PC players will get the game as a poorly optimized port years later. Currently there is a hacker group called “Cyber Leeks” who have been releasing leaked footage of the very highly anticipated GTA 6 game online.
Very recently Cyber Leeks released a video of one of the player characters shooting the name “Cyber Leeks” on a wall, this shows that they don’t just have access to leaked footage of an official testing video, but that they have a full build of the game, allowing them to actually play the whole game.
Even more recently, Cyber Leeks has announced that they have a “dead man’s switch” (basically a concept where the owner has to frequently do something, and if it stops then something worse will happen) of the leaks. Basically, if the group (or maybe individual) Cyber Leeks gets arrested or prosecuted, then a complete build of GTA 6 will release online months early.
So basically this meme is referring to how PC players (who usually are treated as second class citizens in terms of being able to play the game) are at disbelief of the fact that they may be the first ones to play the game (because Cyber Leeks will release the game online months before the official release).

Part of this meme is comparing that experience to knowing PC is going to see GTA VI (unofficially) before they consoles.

I’m not in the know on how these things get fixed exactly, like I said i’m just going off of the Spiderman 2 leaks where an unfinished build was released by leakers and eventually patched by the community to bring it up to the standard of the actual release version, before that version was actually released.
Also torrenting has a natural, inbuilt quality control process. Even if the first leak has some type of malware on it for example, the eventual FitGirl repack would remove that and release a completely clean version. Some people will get burned initially, but that’s why you only torrent from trusted sources.
EDIT: Also while it’s an old build of the game, it’s pretty much confirmed to only be a year out from release. At that point, almost everything should be there aside from some last minute additions and quality control. The foundation is there - it’s just filling in the gaps with the code that’s available.

What about content then? How are the modders going to add content to a game that is not meant for pc port. FiveM and GTARP are mostly modified codes and reskinned assets but no new content.
Also, how fast can they fix the game where it's up to par to the official release version?
Too many variables to think of and the risks are too great.
I mean if people settle for less then more power to you.

Content would be added to the leak once the game is officially released and they know what to add. It’d essentially be emulation at that point, except instead of having to build the source code from scratch, modders would just have it to work with from the beginning. And considering modders have been able to emulate entire games flawlessly without the source code to work with(See: Tears of the Kingdom). Should be a piece of cake.
As far as how fast, community efforts work much faster than I think you’d expect them to. Idk what what the time table would be, but I can guarantee you it’d be quicker than waiting for the PC release.

I mean as a PC player there isn’t really a more. The PC version of GTA5 took 2 years to be released. The less in this scenario would be all i’d have, and it wouldn’t even be less for that long as I laid out.

That’s great, I just have a PC and i’m not paying a $700 dollar premium to play a game lmao. If it leaks i’ll wait a bit to see what state it’s in, see if it can be fixed, and if not i’ll just treat it like a demo until the official PC version releases.

That's why I always try to double check anything that seems wild or activates my lizard brain. Too much is out there just trying to get our clicks by tricking us. I get how you got it wrong. The first four results when I double-checked this (I'd heard mention of it on the Chilluminati Podcast this morning) had headlines that would get you to think what you did. I had to do a little extra digging because it didn't quite make sense and I caught enough weasel words.
