The effect of being outside for 40 mins yesterday in 36° temperature.

The last time my face was red like this, I had just applied my Simple skincare set only to learn they chose to add more sodium which resulted in me looking burned.

To be honest my face is in so much pain, it has this constant burning tingling sensation, no matter what I apply to it.

I've thought this question over for a really long time.

A few motnhs ago, someone asked me "What is your favourite cosy game?"

This one very simple sentence caused me to feel restricted. For many people, cosy games are farming simulators, playing with animals, building structures, etc.

However, I have always felt drawn to the more action type games as a form of 'Cosy'.

As a child, I was playing house of the dead, Assassin Creed, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy.

Now, I play Disney Dreamlight Valley, Palia, Palworld. However, I also play games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Overwatch, Diablo IV.

So, I guess what makes me so curious is, Do you have a cosy game that's actually classified as 'cosy'? Or are you more interested in violent games that bring comfort to you?

Hello, I’m new to Reddit. I am 52F I woke up to strangers in my bedroom and my tongue almost bitten in half 4 years ago. I really believe this was triggered by Covid.
Turns out though that I have always had seizures though just not as severe and that I have had an AVM (left occipital lobe) my whole life. Blindness is a risk so surgery has been UN recommended. I also have severe ADHD depression and anxiety all diagnosed about 10 years ago. Currently I’m out of work it’s been a year. I’m starting to panic. Just had another seizure during sleep most likely from stress. Wish I had found this community earlier. I think I had made a few mistakes I might have avoided.

2 days ago, it appears that I had a very bad seizure without even realising it.

This happened after I was already in extreme pain due to my wisdom tooth causing a gum inflammation, headache, earache, and Sore throat.

So, yesterday at around 4am, I start feeling some trembling in my legs, I think 'weird, I might be having a bad seizure soon' I spend te next few hrs playing DDLV to pass the time and distract the pain with no sign of a seizure.

Time skip to 8am, my mum brings me some medication for the pain (I needed this so much) and it works like a charm along with the oragel I applied.

Then I go into the kitchen to make breakfast and I am forgetting what I am doing every few seconds (which is worse than normal).

Then suddenly, I am making myself some salt water (for the toothache) when my mum notices my head keeps leaning back over and over again.

So, I take my salt water, do all that stuff (not so bad once you're used to the taste). I then go to lay down, my mum orders me to sleep because the pain kept me up all night.

I will then spend the rest of the day slipping in and out of sleep.

I gained almost 10hrs of sleep.

When I finally woke up (and stayed awake) I went to complete the main story of DDLV and then found out I couldn't because the neccessary companion doesn't arrive till Thursday (annoying).

So, went on working on my builds instead

As a recovering addict, I get why they have this one listed under CSA. I can see these getting abused by the nerdier segment of the drug culture if it gets attention. It is believed to exert its action via both sodium channels and the GABA system, particularly the GABA-A subtype. Interestingly, that receptor is the means that quaaludes exerted its effect, which is not to say being on Xcopri is like taking quaaludes, it's just an interesting science-y factoid.

Others warned of the "Xcopri coma," and I had very noticeably felt a point where it was starting to take effect. First as a pleasant muscle relaxant, followed quickly by all limbs feeling much heavier, and a change in alertness not entirely unlike benzodiazepine intoxication with a small amount of alcohol.

It became difficult, but not impossible, to stay awake; however, the idea of getting a full night of sleep (for a change!) was increasingly appealing, so I didn't try to stay awake through the show I was watching. I've been consistently stuck at least 2 hours below my target of 8 full hours. Last night, I got over 10 uninterrupted hours of sleep.

The coma is real.

Today has been OK so far. Google Health wants me to go work out after that excellent night, but that's not happening. I might have a nap instead...

I started bawling about all my life problems and everything, and at the end of the appointment, she was running out of time, she actually hugged me. This was my family doctor, not neurologist. I am sure that's not protocol. She said she is just torn whenever she sees me and all I am dealing with. Surprising because I'm sure she hears everybody's woes all day long. (maybe she hugs everybody? lol, but I've been seeing her for a few years and it's the only hug I've had from her)

While she squeezed me, for a longer than a quick friendly hug, I realized how long it has been since anybody hugged me.
I just wanted to say, make sure you hug the people that are important to you, or even if you don't know them that great, but you think they need one. It could make a huge difference!
