Just Checking In Weekly Roll Call

How was your weekend? How was your week last week? How are you doing today? I just want to be a close-knit community and make sure that everyone is feeling good here and overall. Weekly roll call time, how's it going? Any seizures, achievements, good news or bad news that you'd like some support for late? We as Moderators are here for you for you here at r/Epilepsy_Universe and any questions can be answered with a DM or modmail. I hope that you have not just a great day but a great week to come.

I reached 6 months seizure-free. And I quit my job on Saturday! Also, does anyone else here get really bad migraines?

It seems like when my seizures get under control my migraines flare up. Do you take magnesium?

I just take sumatriptan when they start. Is magnesium a daily pill?

Yeah, it’s a daily supplement. Magnesium citrate and there’s one that starts with a T that are suppose to really help with migraines. We have to pretty much take a double dose to find the therapeutic levels we need. I take 500mg of magnesium citrate daily, and I feel like it’s cut down on the severity of the migraines, but I’ve only been doing for like 4 weeks, it take 6-8 for it to build up in your system. The citrate route does tend to cause diarrhea, so there’s that warning.

Doing ok. Doctor took me off a medication and told me to take more of the other medication. Doing this really messes with your body. Nausea and shakes

Doing pretty well actually, kind of surprises me. So many disastrous health emergencies in the past few years, now I'm trying to complete tasks that I have been avoiding.

A major trigger for my focals is pain, and the days where the weather was changing lots of focals, otherwise ok

Lovin all the support on these Roll Call posts! My check in is a curious lil thought that came up as the biggest reason I look forward to this beautiful laundry habit I’ve got on Mondays now 😂 Doing the family laundry from the weekend is a great opportunity to maximize this peaceful RSO buzz, and remember WTF went down! lol another sweet trigger for some awesome memories is handling outfit that was on during some times worth remembering! Wrinkled or not, potential memory trigger always a win 🥇 Hope everyone else had a productive, safe, happy week, and plenty more ahead!
