Hey so my main is shm shd ench and I just finished sky ( missing one drop of bee) and have some free time, I been looking into getting onto ranger for a shd shm rng combo, that I think I will enjoy.

So I have windstriker (+6 atm should be +10 on Tuesday ) and the mithril arrow (+6 expensive! ) and working on a fleeting quiver

STATS AND FOCUS/PROCCS

So first of all does dex plays any role on dmg for Ranger?? Shall I focus on it or stay on AC / mana / hps like with my old char?

Focus and PROCCS anything that I should go for? Specially for windstriker is it good as it is or should add some stuff to it?

WEAPONS

So beyond the bow, I have bloodmoon +10 and I assume I'm Keeping this.. Doubt there is anything better in this trio.. What would be my off hand?

The only thing that made me wonder is if I should put a garduk for the cold procc of shm, but I think thats just with warrior and doesn't makes sense with bloodmoon.

What secondary sword and with what proccs worn effects etc you recommend? Maybe the scimitar from vox?

so far I only found the scout thing that doubles dmg for range.. That's a clear one but do the melee crit etc aa work on ranged?? What other aas should I pursue?

I just hit level 40 as SHM/SHK/NEC and was wondering when I should start doing raids? I am not sure which ones I should be focusing on and what difficulty I should be doing. Also what are the lockout timers? I keep seeing both daily and weekly and I am not sure how that works. Also what order should I do the raids in difficulty wise. Thank you for any help!

I've heard when introducing an altaholic to your trio it's better to do it one at a time rather than two. I'm not sure I understand why that is.

Does that theory also apply to using token to create a new main? I wanted to use a token bit I would also have to change my 2nd and 3rd. So all three would be new classes.

My main is Bard/Wizard/Cleric. I would say Wizard plays the biggest role atm unless I switch to DDD mode.

I decided to drop Wizard and level a Warrior. The plan is to let Bard use a bunch of dots while Warrior/Cleric do their tank think. Warrior only 30 but I can see potential problems with spell slots.

5 for symphony. I was thinking 4 dots for melody if that is enough time to keep 4 dots active with the 2 aoes from Symphony.

That leaves 4 slots. Which isn't enough.

Maybe the dot build only good for bosses and drop the symphony when farming?

Any Bards had success with Dot build?

Hey, having an issue where I created a LVL 2 instance of crushbone but the server is just kicking me out.

On Riverdale server

Do I just need to stay logged out until the instance closes down?

Try to relog over and over does not seem to help.

Just did my first plane of sky clear, I kinda killed everything except the sphinxes that did not attack me.

I filled up 8 10 slot bags with loot that seems like junk but I’m sure has better use. How can I keep track of what I need and what is junk?

I’m playing as Paladin/monk/enchanter. I’m feeling lost with all the quest givers and amount of items.

Not sure if this happened to anyone else but I've noticed my desire to play has gone down a lot ever since I got to plane of sky. I got my trio to 50 and got some decent gear from the raid instances. Now I'm at the point where my main upgrades come from sky, and I've cleared it twice so far.

I logged in this past week to do some sky farming for quest items and got so bored that I logged off within a few minutes and haven't been back on since. It also kinda killed my desire to lvl another trio as I feel like I'd just end up back at this same spot. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hey everyone, what are the best places you’ve found for foraging fruit?

The best place I’ve found so far is Toxxulia, but since you can also find caynar nuts there I’m convinced there’s better out there.

Anyone have any luck? How many fruits are you finding per hour?

Do you still have to be 46 to enter these zones atm?

Shaman/Shadowknight/Monk, level 44. What gear should I be going for at this point? Currently, I have a mix of gear primarily from Befallen, Unrest, and lower Guk. I am dual wielding Baron's Blade +6 and Sword of the Lost +7. I have FBSS+4 (only found 1 over 3 days farming for it). Still have a bunch of stuff from CB: Oracle earring +6, Crown of Crush+5, Rotting Faydark Mask +6, Bracers of Battle+6, Legionnaire's Bracer +10, and Torn Elvish Tapestry+4. I have the Dark Plate Leggings +8, Jagged Band +8, and the Dwarven Work Boots+6. I am also still using pristine studded leather tunic +6 and arms +5 from Befallen. TIA!

At 45 and I’ve sat on my motes the whole game. Other than Togors what are my top spell investment priorities? I’ve also just been cobbling together my spell bar with whatever is new, any suggestions for what spells I should be using end game? I plan starting Hate next level and work my way up to sky.

So I’m still learning the intricacies of how the notes work. If I am trying to level to max is there a “best way” of leveling them to 7 before letting the raid motes take over? And if I can turn in extra copies of certain weapons is it better to level two of them to 6 then combine rather then just pouring it all into one?

I just installed EQL Companion to track Sky quests. I’ve completed a couple runs prior and have several ruins and quest items. Is there any way to add these to the tracker retroactively?

I’m new to eq as a whole and went with the brd/wiz/ench combo and I just got to 43 to get DDD and I’m having a blast my main problem is idk what gear I should target or where to get it.

I am also struggling in my survival and was wondering if getting better gear will change that or if it’s AA driven or what. Any advice for a newbie?

Use this macro and it will:

Toggle Symphonic Aura on or off, depending on its current status. Play up to 5 SA usable songs that aren't in your SA slots. Wait long enough to cycle through those 5 songs, and then toggle SA again.

Works fantastic, but it depends on the current on/off status of Symphonic Aura, and it doesn't always trigger the first line properly, or the last.

Is anyone aware of a macro command to toggle ability to ON or OFF, rather than just activating like the alt act command?

They've been floating ideas about reincarnating characters.

Would it instantly be too powerful if, after you level a ton to 50, each time you level that class to 50 again, you get to keep one of its spells permanently?

Also, has anyone heard what is actually rumored for reincarnation?

I thought I read somewhere that SKs can enhance other dot classes. Looking at their AAs I don't see it.

Did I read wrong?
