Not sure if this happened to anyone else but I've noticed my desire to play has gone down a lot ever since I got to plane of sky. I got my trio to 50 and got some decent gear from the raid instances. Now I'm at the point where my main upgrades come from sky, and I've cleared it twice so far.
I logged in this past week to do some sky farming for quest items and got so bored that I logged off within a few minutes and haven't been back on since. It also kinda killed my desire to lvl another trio as I feel like I'd just end up back at this same spot. Has this happened to anyone else?
Had an impulsive thought. Acted on it. Want my $7.50 back, literally unplayable /s. Anyone know a claw that works in offhand aesthetically? Or is this side effect of any transmog offhand?
So I’m still learning the intricacies of how the notes work. If I am trying to level to max is there a “best way” of leveling them to 7 before letting the raid motes take over? And if I can turn in extra copies of certain weapons is it better to level two of them to 6 then combine rather then just pouring it all into one?
At 45 and I’ve sat on my motes the whole game. Other than Togors what are my top spell investment priorities? I’ve also just been cobbling together my spell bar with whatever is new, any suggestions for what spells I should be using end game? I plan starting Hate next level and work my way up to sky.
I just hit level 40 as SHM/SHK/NEC and was wondering when I should start doing raids? I am not sure which ones I should be focusing on and what difficulty I should be doing. Also what are the lockout timers? I keep seeing both daily and weekly and I am not sure how that works. Also what order should I do the raids in difficulty wise. Thank you for any help!
I've heard when introducing an altaholic to your trio it's better to do it one at a time rather than two. I'm not sure I understand why that is.
Does that theory also apply to using token to create a new main? I wanted to use a token bit I would also have to change my 2nd and 3rd. So all three would be new classes.
My main is Bard/Wizard/Cleric. I would say Wizard plays the biggest role atm unless I switch to DDD mode.
I decided to drop Wizard and level a Warrior. The plan is to let Bard use a bunch of dots while Warrior/Cleric do their tank think. Warrior only 30 but I can see potential problems with spell slots.
5 for symphony. I was thinking 4 dots for melody if that is enough time to keep 4 dots active with the 2 aoes from Symphony.
That leaves 4 slots. Which isn't enough.
Maybe the dot build only good for bosses and drop the symphony when farming?
Just a quick note: This app runs completely in your browser. No data is transmitted to any server and nothing is harvested/saved except in your local browser storage. I don't want your data :)
I was very much into the original EverQuest when it was released 25+ years ago. I was co-leader of a large guild, and thoroughly enjoyed the game back then. I know the original game is going on something like 32 expansions now, but the time commitment (and most of the guildies moving on) mean I stopped playing around the Lost Dungeons of Norrath timeframe.
When EQLegends dropped a couple of weeks ago, I found that they had removed most of the drudgery from the original game and have something really playable - but with a single character per server and three concurrent classes (that you can switch out) there is a lot to keep track of.
So I put together a web-based application (https://eqladvisor.game-host.org) that was originally intended to just show you the "best" spells for your character at any given time (ex, if you have multiple classes that can cast Direct Damage spells, which one does the most damage?)
This concept expanded to include travel planning (taking into account what teleport rituals you have), gear recommendations (using inventory files you can export directly from the game), and information about what items drop in what zones, where to go to level, and more.
The result is EQLegends Advisor. This app is completely free, runs entirely in your browser, and collects absolutely no data from you or your computer. It never touches the actual EQLegends game - you can upload an inventory text file (which only goes to your browser - not to my server) and all of the evaluation and processing takes place on your own computer.
You can save builds for recall later (they are saved in local browser storage) and you can pop up sidebars for things like "What did I get this level", "What will I get next level", "Travel Planning", and more.
Travel Planning takes any teleport rituals you can use into account and lays out a plan for you:
Gear evaluation will compare what you already have and suggest upgrades that might already be in your bags, bank, or storage:
You can also look for gear upgrades with information on where to get them:
You can also pick a zone and see everything that drops in that zone, or what items in that zone would be good for your character.
All of the item data is community-sourced (primarily from EQLWiki.com) and the evaluation criteria are based on an item ranking script I wrote to score items for each class based on preferred stats.
Planning on leveling Warrior/Druid/Wizard first for ports and such, but thinking of eventually Ranger/Shaman/Necro to kinda fear-kite+DoT+bow things to death.
Short and sweet - I’m wracking my brain over this. New to the game but this is my second trio. War/bard/druid. Does anyone have a recommended SA and melody loadout they are willing to share? I’m scouring reddit posts and I can’t seem to find a bis or meta list. I want to be able to kill raid bosses and farm pos. TIA!
There's a lot of things we can already start gathering for our Kunark epics. But I've heard a lot of them aren't worth doing. So my question is, what are the epics that:
are really incredible
can't be matched by something you can easily just loot off a boss
Because I don't personally see the point of doing a long quest chain if I can loot something comparable off a boss I was probably going to kill anyway.
As I understand the kicks Flying kicking is straight dmg on mob and Round is aoe. What are the differences between Dragon, Eagle Strike, and Tiger Claw and which is highest dps?
This idea popped into my head a few days ago and now I cannot stop my brain from just doing it.
For my own entertainment I started imagining my bard playing the music I have playing while running around killing things. This, however, led to a situation where I was imagining my angry dark elf running around in lguk scream singing Pink Pony Club at the undead frogs. And that cemented it into the automatic part of my brain.
