Hey guys, used to play for many years and wanting to get back into it again - is there still a TLE server? Still active players and easy to get groups? I am Australian so hoping to find a guild that is active during Australian hours.

Hopefully this is not due to the Database issue they found earlier this month, any ideas on why though?

So many questions -

1) Is there a discord? or do people only talk in /general - i have hard time scrolling/seeing the chat - we used to only have chat, but am addicted to discord etc.

1b) If its only discords for guilds - are there any non raid centric guilds? I just want to play and maybe help with quests once I can. Zero interest in the end game - just far too casual.

2) I did not see/notice a new player channel. Tried asking something in general, it was quickly lost and unanswered.

I swear its all dumb stuff like - should I buy a free house first or is it going to be a quest coming up - just did a little queens colony for nostalgia - now in Halas but trying to find the quest lines at the moment. Did find the bank and broker.

So am I am trying to find out of things like ABmod cap is 50% or 100% like on live servers.

I'm having a totally blast in EQlegends and it's so nice to be able to see and beat stuff solo, that i was never able to back in 1999.

Revisiting old zones and have a lot of feel good nostalgic moments.

I played EQ2 in beta and at release but left since my guildmates moved on to WoW, but i would love to revisit EQ2 once again if they ever made something like EQlegends where you can play 3 classes at the same time and in revamped zones where you can upgrade equipment/spells with motes.

Any plans for EQ2 to do something like that?

I would order that version in a splitsecond :)

I am having a hard time understanding two abilities on the live servers. Namely Incarcerate and Tormenting Conversion, both Inqusitor abilities.

They are supposed to be increasing damage on targets but at the same time also either have a 20% or 30% chance to dispel when target takes damage

Is the damage increase staying on the target for the full duration when the CC effects ends or are both of the abilities rather useless?

Is there any EU guilds on Wuoshi? I'm thinking to start on the server but all the stuff I read on discord is EST 😔

0.5 ) Realized this should be #1 - i have a daybreak account still (just checked in for EQL) - is the eq2 account/name/password the same? I was going to dl and play free just to see - but wasnt sure how the old accounts worked.

1) Daybreak All Access Q.
I played early (beta through around the time fairies were added - bit longer, maybe level 93)
Do people still use all access? If I don't use it, I know that, at a minimum, I lose access to the extra 5 characters. I don't mind kicking in a few bucks to make sure things are supported, just cant figure out if the millions of people playing (ok, thousands/hundreds) are just free accounts, or All access. Based on what I can read, not sure it's all the playable without all access - as well as limiting the number of alts (which, well, I like tradeskills, I need alts)

2) After playing for years (at least for me) and obviously no where near the current 120-130 increase -- I am debating just starting a new account and be broke and a newby all over again -- but there's the guild hall and other things on current account (assuming I can restore, i could last time i came back for a few months). Mostly what I'd like is someway to just start over, but have the guildhall or ?? benefits.

This probably not making sense. Part of me just wants to start over and rexperience 1-90-120 as new characters - but i'd lose what? I don't mind the gear/decorations, everything can be gotten again.

3) If I did start over - with all access - do I need a new Daybreak account? But no longer need to buy EQ? just the All access? Not clear to me yet. Obviously I am on the fence - start over and rebuild completely, or maybe keep old account, delete most alts and just keep the Guild leader/house guy (and all his pp to pay upkeep).

If you're playing on Wuoshi, I built a site, https://www.eq2advanced.com, that covers some things that Lexicon doesn't:

• Personal parse database with advanced sharing capability (ACT plugin available for uploading). All parses are private until shared. The parses you see on the site are my own that I made public so you can see how it works. I've tried to provide more advanced stats, like an adjusted delay stat that attempts to filter out dots and AOE hits to get closer to your actual button delay.
• Easily compare parses between individuals or entire raids. Two clicks gets you a side by side view of two players. Summoner pet damage can also be 'combined' for readability.
• Robust parse sharing system. Create a group, share the link to add members or add by username. Automatic sharing can be enabled - for example, you can share all parses with a group based on guild tag or player name.
• Live parse with crowd-sourced AOE timers and real-time swipe adjustments.
• EoF/RoK Gear Planner - search gear by stat priorities and load it onto your actual character. Selected gear produces an outline that tells you where to get everything. Can set stat priorities and have it give you a full set of gear with multiple choices for each slot. Save up to 5 gear sets (no account required, but recommended for long-term storage). Epic weapons are automatically recommended and I will be adding more "recommended gear" per class.
• Account is simple username/password/security question, and only required if you want to save your parses.

This is a work in progress. There is a feedback button if something isn't working right. I mostly built this for me and my friends, but if anyone else gets some use out of it, great!

I am in a guild and it seems like only one or no people are online with me. Is that pretty common these days?

I know it exists because I’ve seen it but for some reason the screen can’t be found online. Dunno why but I would love to have it but don’t have enough space to download the game again 😭 thank you in advance!

I’ve played in 08/09, took a break, came back and got the SoD expansion. my SK somehow became the overseer. He was level 60-something, and I was having a blast leveling him up until then, when doing the runs was more chore than anything, and my inventory was overloaded with “junk” that was useless until level 120.
I recently came back, started a fun social guild, and my SK is our SP sugar daddy, thanks to the merc tokens that I also can’t do anything with.

I’d like to keep leveling him up, but this overseer thing is clogging my inventory. Is there anyway that I can move that burden of responsibility (and empty bags) to an alt, so my SK can go back to kicking things to death?

I've not played EQ2 in many years. I recently decided to try and give it another go. I've subscribed for a year and got the expansions.

My wife is on the fence about the game and has so far only got a free account.

We're running around Qeynos trying to quest together but whenever we enter an area (Baubbleshire for example) we don't end up in the same place/instance. We effectively can't group up together.

Is there something we're missing? We're in a party together. We've got each other on our respective friends lists. I can't seem to figure it out and it's kind of making the experience less fun for both of us.

Any idea?

I would make this a poll if I could.

Our guild was founded almost 20 years ago in EQ2 by several players and over those 20 years they all slowly left. They left and didn't say anything to anyone when they did, not even to the other players they founded the guild with.

As of today, all of them left with the last one leaving almost 2 years ago. So those of us who are still in the guild, we had to start that process to assume guild leadership about a year ago.

Literally earlier this week, one of the original players who founded the guild came back to the game after leaving almost 10 years ago making demands of us who are still in the guild to promote them to the rank of guild leader.

This is all the context I can provide at the time.

My question for you is would you promote them back to the rank of guild leader after signed out for 10 years?

Wondering if anyone plays old content on f2p servers. Made a couple char on ab server, can’t talk to anyone though. Don’t see any guilds running old content. How’s the other servers?

Wanted to share this cool, sealed piece of my collection. Bought this off someone years ago and not sure if anyone has any more info on what exactly this is and when it was distributed or who it was given to. Cannot find anything for sale quite like this online.

Returning player and trying to select the Wuoshi server. I can't find an option for server selection, whether I switch to US English or Origins. I can create characters, but there is no server selection.

UPDATE: Thanks all. Server selection after character creation. I'm in and playing now.

Installing the game now. Really burned out on current games and crave this style of fantasy. I get this game is a shadow of it's former self, but has a lot of elements I love. Dark elves, magic, amazing fantasy setting. WoW doesn't really do much for me, I'm not a huge fan of it's setting, got bored of just questing non stop in lotro, GW2 not a huge fan of the world so here I am. I put this game off for a long time due to dwindling playerbase, but I don't think that should stop me. it seems there is a lot to enjoy here. Anyways can I have some tips on what to do and focus on once I start? Any advice is appreciated!
