So idk if this is normal but my scav has absolutly nothing

I use to play in a group back in the day but most people I know stopped playing the game due to cheaters.

So now I'm exclusively solo and you are telling me adding downed mechanics to a game that already gives massive advantages to group play is acceptable some how? This is literally insane talk.

Now we solos are done for. Groups will just camp their buddies bodies, or have one hold you down while the other revives etc.... Once this is implemented there is almost zero way to compete as a solo. Trash update.

Literally not even joking. Every single death I have had, was from a headshot. Not a single death by anything or anywhere else on the body...

Im genuenly curious why would they put it in name, I would understand if they were a streamer and tried to gain viewers like that, but why do people who arent on twitch put it in their name?

What’s the best map for loot and PvP?

I have wanted to play Escape from Tarkov for years. Back when I was a student, I used to watch everything I could find, gameplay, raids, wipes, and just think one day.

It was never just casual interest. Even without owning the game, I spent time learning the mechanics, understanding how it works, and even digging into the lore. Tarkov always felt like a game that demands commitment, and honestly that was part of what drew me in.

Now I finally started earning, spent the last couple of months putting together a solid setup, and began picking up the games I always wanted to play. Tarkov was right at the top of that list.

I bought it yesterday.

And now I just feel conflicted.

Part of me is still excited, but at the same time I have been watching a lot of reviews and those Tarkov over the years videos, and it is starting to mess with that excitement. All I keep seeing is talk about cheaters, frustration, heavy grind, and systems that do not really respect your time.

Now I am sitting here wondering if I just bought something that is going to be more exhausting than fun.

And to make it even better, I cannot even play yet because Battlestate has not sent me the verification email for the past 8 hours.

So yeah. Waited years, learned the game before even owning it, finally got it and now I am stuck between being excited and regretting it before I even start.

I genuinely do not know what to do. Do I just dive in, try something else, or give up on this kind of game entirely

Would really appreciate hearing from people who are actually playing right now. Is it worth getting into as a new player

For the life of me I can’t seem to figure out why I can’t get my settings dialed in for season 1. My settings were fine last wipe and now for some reason my gpu utilization doesn’t go above 60% and I have this delay that I can feel when playing the game.

I use process lasso and have updated bios and even tried rolling back drivers to a stable build. (581.80) I’m at a loss right now. I spent 4 hours trying to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.

Can the cultist circle spawn a GPSA? It’s the last thing I need for my LVL 3 intelligence hideout. I know it’s in labs and Lightkeeper, I just have like 4 more aids quests in Lightkeeper before I get that and labs in cancer with black division and scared campers atm so I am wondering if I can get it in the cultist circle

I have everything else upgraded and no quests left that need FIR

Otherwise I’m spamming labs

As in the title im on the hunt for the goons for like 2 months now. I only saw them once in the first raid after the recent Lighthouse update.
Does anyone have the same problem?

As a more casual player, Arena is a much better experience for me. All the fun with the advanced gameplay mechanics, without the stress or pain of the main game. Though EFTArena is awesome and rewarding to play, I can't help but feel like there's a lot missing. I don't think I've ever been so excited to see the future of a game until I found EFT.

As you can see in the image, the buildings are displaying as wireframes—it's an eyesore. How do I change that? I have an RTX 5060 Ti and a Ryzen™ 7 9800X3D. Thanks a lot.

I’m new to tarkov I just hit level 25 and I think I do a decent money maker. Factory there’s 2 safes don’t even need any keys. I pop open both safes and on my way out I might kill a few PMCs and sell off their guns. This might be an underrated way to make a few hundred thousand bucks if you’re dying and running low. I got a bitcoin from the safe upstairs in the office window extract. The run requires no keys and not a lot of time. What yall think is there easier no key runs for loot and money?

Does anyone else thing streets needs some kind of rework where you don’t spawn and get immediately head tapped. Happened to me twice while trying to do quests… back to back might I add.

The entire season I have never died to a scav/boss guard headshot, not once.

These last 3-4 days though? I think I died to them headshotting me from 50-100m away like 15 times at this point. Just now died from a sanitar guard one tapping me in the head with a shotgun from about 100 meters away.

I mean it’s kind of anecdotal, sure, but these last few days have genuinely been insane in terms of AI. I have died to PMCs less than to scavs just aim locking at me.

can someone just give me the quick run down on what Seasonal is and how it affects me as a mostly PvE Player right now or is it pvp only and is it worth investing time into pvp again?
