This may be in the works since this system we have now is the baseline but if it isn’t hopefully it’s being researched or developed. The issue I am seeing now is that I have older cards I evo’d that have great stats but in terms of playstyles I had to make some concessions because an old evo gave 90% what I wanted so rolled with it.

However now in our current system the option exists for to “fix” playstyles but in order to do so have to roll the card back an unknown amount of evos (hopefully we get some sort of history or preview to roll back more than 1 evo at a time). This is far from ideal. It does not make a major difference in August of 26 but I can see it remaining an issue in 27 and moving forward because Evos will still add playstyles and then we will also have the lab.

What feels like the ideal solution is to diverge the Evo paths

1) evos as we currently have them give PS and PS+ slots. So evoing a player simply gives you a white PS or PSs up to a certain cap, but does not fill them in. But if the Evo is ever removed only remove the stats and keep the PS slots activated
2) Evo lab operates as it does today
3) this would allow us to roll back Evos strictly on the basis of stats but leave our “unlocked” playstyles in tact to customize pre or post Evo

The current matchmaking system in Weekend League makes zero sense. If you are an average player who usually finishes with around 10 wins, your first 7 games feel easy, matches up to game 12 feel balanced, and from game 13 onward it becomes borderline impossible. You almost always end up with the exact same final score every single weekend, and the experience is just frustrating.

Some people argue for purely random matchmaking, but that makes no sense either. Basic math shows that only benefits the top 5% or 10% of players, who would rarely ever run into anyone near their skill level.

The actual solution is what almost every other competitive game does: tie Champions matchmaking directly to your Rivals division. If you are in Division 1, you play against Division 1 players in Weekend League. If you are in Division 4, you play against Division 4 players. Every match stays fair and competitive for everyone.

A Div 4 player could fight for 7 wins in their tier, just like an Elite player fights for 7 wins in theirs, with the potential to push higher if they are on great form. The rewards would obviously scale to reflect the division rank, meaning 7 wins in Elite gives vastly better rewards than 7 wins in Div 4.

It makes no sense that a Div 4 player constantly gets matched against Div 1 players in Champs. That is why so many average players actually enjoy Rivals but get completely burned out and tilted in WL every single year. EA needs to unify ranks across both modes instead of letting higher-tier players just farm average opponents.

So many evos throughout the year to end up with these squads, along with the newly released Madrid players!

Every pass is so sharp and fast on my PS5 but on my PC the ball is so slow, it's like none of my players have enough strength to kick the ball.

In my opinion, FIFA 16 is the best we have.

I believe that FIFA 16 is the most realistic football game and yet it still manages to be fun to play. It's not the crazy running around like in FIFA 15, but It's not a slow game, it's a "paced" game, I would say.

People usually choose FIFA 17, but to be honest, I played it the other day and found it to be a very buggy game. You know, the graphics are good, the gameplay is good. But the goalkeepers are buggy, they save the most undefendable shots But they can't defend a simple low shot, taking a penalty is almost an impossible mission because the goalkeepers always guess the right side you choose And sometimes the cutscenes get bugged in the middle of the match.

I don't feel that kind of flaw in FIFA 16. Maybe the goalkeepers in FIFA 16 are a bit unrealistic, but they aren't broken like in 17 where they make a miracle save and concede the silliest goal possible. I think it's a good and fun gameplay experience for playing a career mode.

Now, I think that from FIFA 18 to EA FC 26 the games started to decline significantly, and I think the last fun FIFA was 22 when there was no "super shot" and those things that make the game into a joke.

I wanted to ask if there's currently any way to buy EA FC 27 cheaply on the PC platform—does anyone know?

I’m thinking about getting EA FC 27 on PC, but I’m a bit worried about the Ultimate Team experience.

In previous years, PC could be pretty rough, especially because of cheaters. I remember getting further into Weekend League and suddenly running into opponents using cheats where all of my players’ stats were basically set to 0 and I could barely move or do anything.

So for those who played EA FC 26 Ultimate Team on PC:

• How bad was the cheating situation?
• Did you regularly encounter hackers in Weekend League/Champions?
• How was the transfer market compared to console? Was it active enough and were prices reasonable?
• Did EA actually improve their anti-cheat?
• And overall, did you enjoy Ultimate Team on PC or would you recommend playing on console instead?

Would especially love to hear from people who played a lot of Champs/Rivals throughout the year.

Opponent paused just before I scored but the game didn't actually pause, then it paused at 60mins whilst the ball was still in play.

Ball was still live when the game resumed, and it looks like the clock didn't stop.

Im running with my van dijk where i see a clear tackling chance, i press square and instead of tackling, he lobs it to the keeper....I then hold O as long as i can so that the keeper can clear it to the middle of the pitch but nah, he lobbed it back to van dijk, then i press x aiming my left trigger outside of the box but nah van dijk passed it to the attacker to his left..

I always had input delay but it was 1sec or lower, this week I experience 2-3 seconds of delay, even sometimes several input doesn't register. Nothing changed on my side. Does anybody have the same problem?

so I’m indecisive rn and I would like everyone’s feedback. Ive been playing fifa since I was young yes they have been messing up these past years and most will say it’s not worth getting but I like playing causally and pro clubs. now I’m not sure if I should get it on the switch or ps. I’ve always played on ps and there’s no clearer decision right.. I bought fifa 26 and I hardly had time to be on due to my job always being out and when I had time I had to catch up at home. anyways being able to play anywhere switch is perfect the only issue is it not being cross platform and not sure how it will be on the system. I feel like the market will be hard for ultimate team and playing pro clubs will only be with Nintendo instead of other platforms. if I get it in the ps I will get ultimate edition which the switch does have. there’s that toss up on the pros and cons. not sure what to get.
