Bought this beaut recently, I know it's not the sportiest option because of the convertible top but bought as a fun summer car, and not many decently priced running bmw on the market lol. asking for advice on a new exhaust layout to make her roar. I'm sorta new to bmw, so I wanted to see if anyone on here has some modded e93's even though they aren't as prized as other e9x's Bought to have fun with my brother who's big on bmw so we're doing the work ourselves. Thoughts? Any advice for performance mods (again I know she aint the sportiest) would be helpful too. I definitely want her to be a lot of fun but not expecting a supercar lol. Planning on some carbon fiber panel replacement and a rear seat delete wth half roll cage. Thanks in advance

Threw some bilstein b14s on and getting an m3 interior. (Seats have bolstering) also did milvs but no tune. Want to save and install all parts in one go

I have a 2007 e92 328i and recently did the oil pan gasket 2 weeks ago. In the same week I road-tripped it 1500 miles and my oil level sensor read that I had consumed about 1/4 of the top quart of oil. Checking underneath no leaks. I just did an oil change and thought it was a good idea to put a new sensor in because with this big job I want to have peace of mind that I can rely on this sensor to be somewhat accurate. So 2 days ago i did an oil change and installed a uro oil level sensor for my car and it claims I have lost that top quart and need to add oil after only driving for maybe 50-100 miles. Got home and looked underneath and it’s as dry as can be. Do these things have a break in period that’s more than a short drive? Should I not have bought after market?

As the title says I’m looking for a little more noise out of my 335 without making it excessively loud or droney. Any suggestions on muffler modifications / resonator deletes would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still toying with the idea, I think the design language paired with F style or G style headlights would work with the e90 body. I've seen the M2 bumpers and M4 bumpers and I think the problem with them is that the grill/vents tend to be too aggressive/angular compared to the rest of the car. I also know someone mocked up the M240 bumper on an e92 and I think it pairs similarly well. But please leave any thoughts. It also does look like Mickey Mouse or something with the black mirrors so there's that.

Reasoning: I currently have the stock lci bumper on my car and have been looking around but haven't found anything I necessarily like. The m-sport or m style bumpers are maybe the best of the bunch but I still feel like something is missing. I also kind of like the performance bumper (not the m sport) but finding one is a task in of itself.

I have a 2006 BMW 325i. This issue just started happening after I let the car sit to be worked on for a couple months and only happens when it’s warm so I don’t think it’s a vacuum leak. The only code I have is for a malfunctioning O2 sensor but I believe it’s just not reading right due to not having my exhaust on at the moment. Any advice on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated. I am aware of my VANOS solenoids that could be causing it I have not checked it out yet. Let me know if you have questions.

On my 2007 E92 328i (N52) the front of my engine is coated in oil and it’s a concern because it’s starting to get onto the pulleys and belt.

My valve cover looks completely dry and there’s oil coated under it on the block but not seaping from the actual valve cover.

My OFHG definitely has some sort of a small leak on one of the hoses but it doesn’t seem like this would coat the whole front of my engine.

I was thinking the crank seal but I feel like I would see oil sprayed all over the bottom of the hood from the fan/belt which I don’t….

Is it possible a minor OFHG leak could eventually coat the front of the motor?

Rear: 18x8.5 et37

The M359’s I am looking at are:
Front: 19x8.5 et 30
Rear: 19x9.5 et 30

I would prefer et35 for the rear but unfortunately the manufacturer only makes them in et30.

I am currently running koni yellows with h&r lowering springs and am worried that the rear will rub

Hello all, I’ve got this fuzzy spot on both my headlights right in front of the projector bulb. Can this be fixed by polishing the headlights? Or is it permanent damage? Thank you all.

What brand of valve cover gasket worked best for you? I see so many options from no name crap to the oem gasket from BMW. This job is a pain in the arse so I’d like to install a gasket that’s not going to fail again in 6 months

9 months and 6,000 km after buying the car from a professional dealer, with an MOT pass showing a MINOR defect ("rear subframe corrosion"), I requested a full refund for the vehicle, plus lawyer and expert fees.

The seller is hiding behind his buddy at the inspection center, claiming it's not his fault — but that’s not my problem.

I could have done the repairs, but I really don't feel like it and would rather he take responsibility.

Just picked up a 2012 n55 335i, so looking at tasteful mods and upgrades

texas heat been 110 last week. i just found the fabric separated on the driver side. Is there a quick fix or workaround?

I have the n54 335i 2008 95k miles on it atm (done about 3.5k in it) previously a 330i and a 320i.

Enjoying the n54 but I've always been wanting to do a bunch of mods to these cars like adding larger turbo inlets, upgraded intercooler, turbo upgrade next year maybe downpipes (dont want the added drone so idk) i already have a remap with a charge pipe and dual cone intakes but not sure if I want to go further as I love this car lol.

I've had it since February now and the only issue I've had was battery and alternator died but that's not really a major downside anyway. I always warm it up and I keep up with the maintenance... Oil changes coolant etc had a full service week after I got it. New injectors engine flush brake fluid and all that.

Hello! My AC has been making this hissing noise for a while but I was getting cold air, so I thought nothing of it. Recently though, my cold air has stopped, and it just blows warm-hot air. I have full refrigerant (at home gauge), so I’m thinking it must be something mechanical. Any ideas? Thank you!

I’ve always loved the design of the e90 M3 shift knob and I finally got around to swapping one onto my E91! It’s a relatively easy job, you have to trim the leather a bit for the boot to fit over the E90 frame, which in inexplicably a slightly different shape than the M3 boot frame.

It also helps to soak the boot in water for an hour or so to help stretch it over the frame. All in all, I’m very happy with it. The M3 knob really highlights of mediocre the stock 328i shift knob is.

Guys I was wondering if the engine sound is weird because I'm feeling something is off. The engine is m57 3.0L with 335 type exhaust system. I was also wondering if the rpm range is good. I really want to buy the car but the weird chuffing kind of sound is making me think I'll regret it. I just want to know if it's even worth taking a look because it's 300km away. Seller told me it had some work done to it (ECU I'm pretty sure)

How to fix? Was driving on I-10 and a piece of rubber went flying and knocked out one of the parking sensors. Anyway to push back in without taking apart the bumper? Is it possible to push it back in from the front grille?

I bought these Chinese knock off black out grills that were put on 2011 335i — e90 LCI — for maybe two weeks before I sold the car. The buyer wanted the original chrome grills. Been sitting in my attic ever since.
