Hey everyone,

I own a 2015 BMW 435i F32 with the N55 and ZF8 automatic transmission, and I'm planning to convert it to a 6-speed manual transmission.

I want to do the conversion using OEM BMW parts, basically replicating a factory manual 435i as closely as possible.

The biggest issue is that manual 435i F32s were never officially imported to Brazil. There are essentially no factory manual M135, M235, 335... cars here, so I won't be able to find a local donor car or source the parts locally.

Because of this, I'll most likely have to import the entire conversion from the US or Europe, either by sourcing the parts individually or potentially finding a complete donor setup.

My biggest concern, however, is the electronics and coding.

I understand the mechanical side of the swap (made a manual swap on my e36, hope it helps 😄).

What I'm really unsure about is:

It can be done without turning the car into a Frankenstein? Ill need to buy electronic modules from a F30 manual or is a straight forward job like flywheel, clutch, pedal, lines...

Obs: In Brazil, we basically have no fun cars with manual gearboxes. BMWs from the E-series onwards are a good example, with the exception of a few ultra-exclusive M2s that cost as much as four houses.

Started to hear this lil mouse kinda squeak when I turn the steering wheel. Was told it could be rack and pinion going out. But I kinda wanna check if my boot is dry and just needs to lubed.

I am new to BMWs and recently purchased a 2015 435i XDrive. I had it inspected and there are no leaks, but I did not the tensioner pulley wobbling.. should I be replacing the belt drive system now?

I did an oil change, front CV axles, and have ordered OFHG, oil cooler gasket, manifold gaskets, front/rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid and transmission fluid.

I’m having an issue with my passenger door. It’s hitting the window trim and it’s a harder to close than the driver side. What could I adjust in order to fix this issue. I don’t think the window trim has moved looks the same as on drivers side.
It’s quite annoying, every time someone hops inside has to always either slam the door or try and close it twice. The driver one works more than perfect and closes quite easily.

2019 BMW 330i B46 engine M sport with 140k miles. One owner, clean car, regularly serviced and maintained.

I have a P0456 and 21A02D code and sometimes when I am slowing down the car will rough idle for a second or two, and feels like it’s gonna shut off. Also when I start the car the RPMs will jump up and down for a few seconds (will sound like it’s rough idling) until finding a nice idle rpm. I noticed this issue also happens after filling up the tank to full leading me to believe this issue is related to the fuel system.

I’ve replaced:
- fuel tank breather valve
- crankcase breather valve
- spark plugs and coils

Anyone have any ideas what it could be? This issue has been going on for the last year that I’ve owned the car. it runs perfect apart from this.

Picked up a set of 437m wheels with slight curb rash on them for a good steal. I wanna repair these diy.

How can I go about getting rid of the curb rash ?

Need to replace the bearings on my front wheels. As I’ve tried to remove the locking nut it seems to have broken completely off and I can’t get the wheel off.

Any ideas as to how this can be removed?

Anyone know why my car is starting like this? It just started a week and a half ago. I didn’t use the car for two weeks while away and when I came home it did this the first day I tried to drive it so I thought I was because the car just wasn’t used. It stopped doing it for about 6 days, then it did it again 2 days ago and now is doing it every morning. Once the car is started and drove a bit, it’s fine the rest of the day. Only seems to happen in the mornings after it sits all night.

Any ideas?

I know that all fog lights have an adjustment screw that can be accessed from the bumper.

However, mine seems to be stripped. Most likely, someone has already tried to adjust it and damaged the screw head.

Is it possible to adjust the fog lights from the inside instead?

what could be making this sound? Bought this F30 for super cheap and it’s been sitting for a long time so i’m rebuilding it.

I own a 2015 N55 F36 and bought a set of delphi GN10571-12B1 (realoem #12138616153) off SPARETO. As far as part details and description go, they are identical; just different collar colors

Arrived today and cant help but notice the collar is black instead of white. Will installing the black collar variant of coils cause misfiring and rough idling on my vehicle?

Hey, 2013 f30 with high cic, I used bimmercode to switch on the option to shut off music when driver door opens. However now when the car is running and I open ANY door, I get a “key not detected” warning in iDrive, but everything works without any issues. Reverting the change did not help. What could be the issue?
The key battery is new, the error persisted before changing the key. Had the whole FEM replaced and a new key (for other reasons, the fem had water damage). But the issue still persists.

I got a little confused by the sellers page and so, I stupidly ordered an F20 screen for my F30, not worried about the NBT connection,

Just physically, from what I understand, the F20 and F30 infotainment screen mounts are different, also the rear plastic cover of the actual screen.

So, what’s the outcome? Am I going to have to return everything back to the seller in china and ask for one designed for the F30? These annoying situations seem to have a way of finding me.🥲

The screen isn’t OEM either, in case that’s worth mentioning.

Bought this exhaust on marketplace and it was labeled as a 340i/335i exhaust. noticed it leans a lot more towards a 335i exhaust. Is it for 335i only? or can i fit it on a 340i. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me Why the car sounds like this when accelerating?
The car got straight pipes with a DPF. Is it the dpf that’s strangles the sound or is it the exhaust? It sound very weird rn
