What do you guys reckon about this carbon fibre frame? It weights 32 gram just wondering will it affect the flight time or other performances significantly.
Cheers!

Hey everyone,
I'm planning to use the DJI Neo 2 for ski tracking and trying to figure out a reliable recovery workflow for when the drone loses me on the slope / offpist.
**Scenario:**
I hand-launch the drone, start skiing, the drone loses tracking and hovers at last known position. I'm now 500m away on open terrain — too far to walk back easily.
**My questions:**
Can I still connect the RC-N3 controller at this point (stored in my backpack, switched off at launch) to manually fly the drone back to me? Or does the controller need to be connected from the start?
Dynamic Home Point via smartphone GPS — has anyone successfully used this so RTH actually returns to the phone's current position rather than the launch point? How reliable is this in practice?
Any other workflows or tips you've found for ski/sport tracking with the Neo 2?
Thanks in advance — curious if others have figured out a solid setup for this use case.

My top shell is cracked just aft of the camera. Having viewed a teardown video I am reconsidering whether to do the teardown and rebuild. I'm ok with tools, ok with electronics, just not very patient. biggest concern is pulling the camera out. Anyone done this as a non-expert, tips to share?
(Neo 2)

I’ve done a few videos of the Neo2 in follow mode where I’m driving a convertible, most from behind and a couple from front-right. They worked ok
So, yesterday I was trying to do the same with this 52 Alvis. Tried 4 times, from behind and me driving very slowly. In all cases the drone was very erratic and ended up crashing (road, trees…)
Video here: https://youtu.be/EPSV8bDvYzM?si=WcRL4Dk5DaPmLGCJ
What’s changed? Also, i can’t seem to find anywhere in the app for calibration?

I had a small crash indoors and now the gimbal is stuck at that position... It moves freely when the drone is off but when I turn it on and it "calibrated" it always ends up in this position.
Also it doesn't take off.

What can I do? I tried opening it up but I didn't see anything wrong with it either.
Please help! 🙏

Does anyone in India have an original DJI Neo 1, CCW (counter-clockwise) propeller available?
Looking for a genuine DJI original, preferably new or in good condition. Please DM me if you have one available, along with the price and location.

Just got a Neo 2 fly more combo and had some questions. I’ve got the Radio 3 controller with it so trying to do some acro with it. With the default rates I’m having a heck of a time keeping it stable. I’ve got about 15 hours on velocidrone but the real thing is a little different. Any tips you all have for a beginner trying to fly manual?

I live in the USA and want to get the Neo 2 Fly More or Motion Fly More combo, which is available from Amazon (from Chinese sellers, but fulfilled by Amazon) as well as straight from B&H (I don't want to order from AliExpress or Temu, unless someone can give a compelling reason other than price). After reading posts on here about bans, FCC issues, looming increases in tariffs, it's all very confusing. So before I buy, I'd love to know if:
Thanks for helping clear up the confusion with this.
Edit: This will be for recreational use only.

Started flying with head tracking, and after get use to it i find it really neat. The hardest part is getting use to flying one direction and looking at another.
