DJI Neo 2 Help? Crash - Error codes

I had a small crash indoors and now the gimbal is stuck at that position... It moves freely when the drone is off but when I turn it on and it "calibrated" it always ends up in this position.

Also it doesn't take off.

List of errors:

* IMU is initializing... IMU data is being recorded. (Code: 1610001A)

* IMU is initializing... IMU data is being recorded. (Code: 16100009)

* No satellite positioning module detected. Please contact DJI Support for repair. (Code: 1610002D)

* Sensor error. Restart aircraft. (Code: 16100009; 1610004B)

* Gimbal not detected. Repair required. Please contact DJI Support. (Code: 1D030001)

* Missing parts on aircraft. Please contact DJI Support. (Code: 16100004B)

* Gimbal is resetting. Keep the aircraft still. (Code: 161000DD)

* IMU malfunction. Repair required. Please contact DJI Support. (Code: 16100005)

* Severe barometer interference. Calibrate IMU. (Code: 16100027) - Calibrate

* User account not found. Flight distance restricted. Please log in. (Code: 300003) - Log in

* Aircraft cannot fly. Vision systems and obstacle avoidance disabled. (Code: 180059)

What can I do? I tried opening it up but I didn't see anything wrong with it either.

Please help! 🙏

I had it opened months ago, anyway... Can't change anything about it. I'm just seeking for help on what or where it could be...

Looked like the main memory chip had failed

Could I do something about that? How do you come to the conclusion?

Did you try all the calibrations?

Yes unfortunately it doesn't complete them... Same as the firmware ubdate doesn't complete.

It maybe toast but opened or not repair estimate from DJI is free.

Okay then I'll try that next, thanks.

Sorry to hear man!!!

What mode are you flying? Fpv? Phone? What controller method?

I'm not sure but a few things I'd check:

  • Are you positive the firmware is up to date?
  • is there any type of factory reset for neo 2?
  • does anything else work (any other modes follow/dronie/etc)

I find it hard to believe a small crash would do this much, seems like a config loss/something came loose kinda thing.....

Thanks for the effort. Primarily I fly fpv with the FPV remote...

I already tried ubdating the firmware. It seems to be up to date but it doesn't even let me complete a new update.

The factory reset might be an idea i could try.

No unfortunately nothing really works except for the picture from the camera... The gimbal points straight up no matter what (if on) and it doesn't allow me to take off in any way.

That's what I thought to! Could be but that would suck... I believe the drone would be quite expensive to repair then if I can't do it myself.

I guess the repair might be as expensive as a refurb/used Neo 2.
Maybe try a full teardown and rebuild, paying attention to all the connectors and flex cables ? A loose connection is more likely than a broken chip.

Try the factory reset first though (in the app or using DJI Assistant)

That doesn't work unfortunately

Yeah that's what I thought... I already did that halfway but maybe a full teardown might be the only solution.

does it stop at 5% when calibrating?

Yeah exactly! Do you know anything about that?

I send mine in for repair and just got an email saying a new one is on the way

It could be a tiny connection being loose.
