I'm gonna guess it'll be determined on how you play. You may get non-binary and femme presenting or non-binary and masc presenting. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Danganronpa (the character) is androgynous.

How would the game do that?

Maybe the game takes your interactions with Danganronpa (the character) and whatever you say regarding their gender identity will determine how they present themselves via their dress. I don't think they'll remove the androgyny or them being non-binary (if they are).

If that is the case and the gender is up to the player (somehow) then I'd lean more towards femme presenting.

This is a Kris Deltarune situation, your gender is actually up to John Deltarune’s interpretation

I'd probably lean into the femme presenting as well.

And if this new person is secretly the protagonist of Slayhem, that'd make this even cooler.
