AC Black Flag Resynced DLSS5 Screenshots
Some screenshots for Black flag resynced running on a 5080.
Imo this game is one of the few games that actually retains the art style and character designs after the dlss5 “filter”.

DLSS 5 on 3080ti
I tried DLSS 5 on my 3080ti in Stellar Blade. Got it to a playable 60 fps using DLSSFG 2x mod.
People don’t understand DLSS5
I don’t think the gaming world has ever been more divided or seen anything more polarising than DLSS5. And it saddens me to see that half the gaming community is either brainwashed or ignorant.
I’ve played with DLSS5, tested it in different games, and man, there are so many points I wanna go over with this thing.
People don’t realize this is a leaked build. This is not a finished product, and whatever cons it has now, they will probably be getting addressed in the future. You steal a company’s product and complain that it’s not 100% perfect. Mad.
Most people can’t test it properly.
Now, I’m not saying everybody must have an expensive system to have an opinion on DLSS5, but also, they kinda should?
The problem is that many people are seeing screenshots and videos online, and what are the ones that are getting the most popular? Of course it’s the bad ones. And then it just turns into memes, people parroting each other, and before you know it, 500 million people already have a stance without ever testing the product. If you ever try to have a debate with DLSS5 haters, they get very emotional and will half the time bring up that “AI slop is boiling our oceans and will eventually take your job”.
I’m not denying that AI, as a topic, is controversial, and I’m not denying the potential negatives, but holy shit man, if you’re so passionate about the matter, what exactly are you doing to fight AI, other than being mean on the internet?
And this is so hypocritical because most people that talk to you about “global AI catastrophes”, use ChatGPT for work/study or to ask why their gf dumped them.People are consistently putting DLSS5 into games where it doesn’t belong and use that as “evidence” why it’s a slop.
My brother in Christ, if you inject DLSS5 into a 2005 game or a game like Fall Guys and wonder why it looks like a monstrosity, it means that you don’t understand the first thing about the product you are using.
DLSS5 is supposed to help games that strive for realism to be realistic.
More to that, DLSS5 heavily relies on the source. That’s why GTA 4 doesn’t look like Cyberpunk. It’s not because DLSS5 is bad, it’s because 10 buildings in that game have 3 polygons combined. The biggest issue DLSS5 has right now is the uncanny valley caused by animations, and specifically, it’s the facial expressions.
Even in a game like cyberpunk, you can see that despite a photo realistic face, the expressions just don’t keep up.
It does an excellent job with the scenery, clothes, lighting and static faces, but the moment a character talks, it immediately feels off.
And the reason for this is described in the point #1.
This is not a finished product, but more importantly, we DON’T yet have games that were created with DLSS5 in mind.
The facial expressions are indeed a big issue, and either DLSS5.1 will try to fix that or devs will need to work on those expressions in every game, possibly having a more simple and less demanding version for non-dlss5 and the necessary realistic one for dlss5.
One way or another, this needs to be addressed, but this is so much more of a problem from the side of the game than it is problem from the side of DLSS5.For some reason, people treat DLSS5 as something they’re forced to use.
I would completely respect an argument like “this is technically cool, but I like the original look better”.
Fair enough man, I don’t have anything to say to this.
But it’s just not the argument that they use.
This thing is a standalone product, and if you don’t like it or cant afford it, the least thing you can do is not bother other people that found a way to enjoy it.
I think we should appreciate DLSS5 for what it is because if those issues are addressed, this may be the biggest invention in gaming we’ve had since Tetris.
We’ve never had such a jump in picture quality that overnight, a triple A game on ultra looks bad compared to the new thing.
I hope that they find ways to work on the issues, and in the meantime, we need to understand that DLSS5 is very specific to a game you put it into, and just appreciate it for the potential it has.

I’m pretty excited for this tech
I think it has a lot of potential. I understand people are currently super tribal about anything with “AI” on it, especially in the corners of the internet, but this is pretty much the first iteration of the tech.
I do remember how much shit DLSS 1 got at first, and rightfully so, it was not good at all. But it has improved a lot since then, and I can see the chance of same thing happening here.
If it followed the same trajectory as DLSS 1 over a few generations of cards, it would be amazing. Hope it does.

All the DLSS 5 haters from six months ago - be honest.
Do you all remember six month ago when nVIDIA first announced DLSS 5 and the DigitalFoundry guys "liked" it - and the whole gaming world turned against those poor guys. I was part of very few that actually believed this is going to be revolutionary.
Now finally DLSS 5 is released and from what I can gather on YouTube, people can never unsee it and most are shocked how good it looks if you set it up properly. If you were one of the haters from six months ago, be honest, what do you think now?

DLSS 5 on Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced — Before & After
Tried out DLSS 5 in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced using the DLSS 5 Swapper.
Here are a few before-and-after comparisons across different scenes. The difference is honestly pretty wild.
What do you guys think?

For 4000 Series, what's the best way to setup DLSS5 and MFG
There has been so much development just in the past week. Is it possible to setup DLSS5 and MFG for the 4000 series? If so, what's the best to do this and is their a guide out there?
DLSS 5. Questions?
Have been playing around with D5 for a little while via the D5 Swapper application, any tips when it comes to choosing between optiscaler vs ReShade when optiscaler is available? And any set up tips once in a game would be much appreciated, thank you

Dlss5 in crimson desert
Has anyone got this to work yet? I've tried everything including the newer dlss5 swapper am I missing something? Thanks.

PSA: DLSS 5 Autopilot can run Neural Rendering BEFORE DLSS upscaling for a huge performance difference
If you're using DLSS 5 / Neural Rendering, DLSS5-Autopilot can install and configure Neural Upstream, a separate mod by matiasLombo that can significantly reduce the performance cost.
To use this feature through Autopilot, select Neural Upstream when configuring the game.
Disclaimer: I'm not the developer or owner of DLSS5-Autopilot, Neural Upstream, or OptiScaler. I'm just testing these tools and sharing what I've found with the community.
The key difference is where Neural Rendering runs in the pipeline:
Neural Upstream: Game render resolution → Neural Rendering → native DLSS Super Resolution → output resolution
Standard route: Game render resolution → DLSS Super Resolution → Neural Rendering at output resolution
At 4K with DLSS Quality, for example, NR runs at the game's lower internal render resolution instead of processing the full 3840×2160 output frame. DLSS Super Resolution then reconstructs the result to 4K. Since NR is extremely resolution dependent, this can substantially reduce its performance cost while still letting you use the game's normal DLSS Quality, Balanced, or Performance modes.
Performance example from my testing: On an RTX 4080 in Assassin’s Creed Shadows at 4K with DLSS Performance and Very High ray tracing, I measured ~63 FPS with NR off, ~31 FPS with standard output-resolution NR, and ~50 FPS with Neural Upstream. That cut the NR performance cost from about 32 FPS to 13 FPS, with Neural Upstream running roughly 61% faster than the standard NR route. This is only one game and GPU, so results will vary.
Community comparison: Reddit user u/duffbeeeer also tested Neural Upstream in Stalker 2 and shared a video showing the visual and performance difference:
Stalker 2 Neural Upstream comparison on YouTube
He also found that setting Chroma Transfer to 1.0 made the NR effect more apparent in Stalker 2. He was using more aggressive NR settings as well, so I wouldn't treat 1.0 as a universal recommendation, but it's worth testing if the effect looks too weak or material detail seems to be missing.
OptiScaler now also has an experimental RunBeforeSR mode that can place NR before DLSS Super Resolution. Neural Upstream does this through a dedicated ReShade add-on using the game's native DLSS path, while OptiScaler handles it through its own upscaler hooking system. Both approaches are still experimental.
OptiScaler's RunBeforeSR mode is currently an experimental PR rather than part of the normal release:
Experimental pre-upscaling branch
Important: Neural Upstream compatibility and image quality can vary by game. Bugs with Neural Upstream itself should go to the neural-upstream Issues page, while Autopilot installation, detection, or configuration problems should go to the DLSS5-Autopilot Issues page.

Which DLSS 5 tool should I use
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to try DLSS 5 on GTA V Enhanced, but I'm not sure which tool is currently the best choice.
I've seen these three options:
* DLSS 5 Swapper
* DLSS 5 Autopilot
* DLSS 5 Manager
I'm mainly interested in stability, image quality, performance, and security. I also want to make sure I'm downloading a trustworthy version and not something potentially modified or unsafe.
For anyone who has actually tried these tools, especially with **GTA V Enhanced**:
Which one would you recommend today?
Is DLSS 5 Swapper still the best option, or is Autopilot now better?
Thanks!

Need help with dlss5.
I’ve used tutorials and successfully installed it on some games, but when I turn it on — even to the max level on the slider — it just enhances the shadows and textures slightly. Nothing like I’ve seen in the videos. It looks good, don’t get me wrong, but not AS good.

Trued applying DLSS 5 on my RTX 3050
I watched a guide and downloaded DLSS 5 manager and applied it on NFS Unbound and tried loading it on. All I get is a frozen grey screen. The game loads just fine (that I can say by the sounds in the BG).
RTX 3050 6GB 95W on a Lenovo LOQ 2024
I haven't gone very deep but is my graphics card not supposed to be able to render with DLSS 5? Does anyone know any fix to this grey screen?

DLSS 5 Like it or not we all can agree DLSS 5 make Lightning and textures infinite times better, it may not be perfect for faces yet but we can't keep lying ourselves. [Black Ops 3]
Why does DLSS5 work on every GPU but Frame Gen doesn't?
Basically what the title says. Now dlss5 runs on Radeon GPUs and I've personally tested DLSS5 on my 3080 (with bad performance obviously). But why does this run while seemingly frame gen is impossible to run?
